- Guide
- A Darkner who seems to have been created by the Dark World itself in order to guide those lost in it. They take the form of a phantasmal black-purple house cat whose body is made of floating geometrical shapes. Guide was created with all knowledge of the Dark World, and is very open to answering questions, but will only provide information relevant to the question, and in a very straightforward manner that ignores the feelings of the people around them.
- In contrast, Guide is bad about being honest about anything else, and tends to respond very unhelpfully to questions unrelated to the Dark World, with an overwhelming tendency to answer in riddles, or simply just by being mean. They can move through Dark Worlds, allowing them to provide help to whoever their current charge is, whether they want it or not.

- The Shadow King
- A being of Dark World legend, the Shadow King is said to be a Darkner of incredible power who sought to conquer the Light World, and is said to have found a way to cross over to it. He was destroyed by ancient heroes, and his essence scattered. Before his death, the Shadow King declared he would return, and that he would make sure his knowledge was passed on to one that managed to match his strength and ambition. Whether this is true has yet to be seen, but many Darkners have attempted to follow in his footsteps and failed. Perhaps the being the Shadow King seeks isn't in the Dark World...

- Kingdom of Steel
- A dark world created form a medieval themed eatery. The king of the land has imposed a hierarchy based on the physical sharpness of its citizens, with the sharpest being knights and associates of the king, while the dullest are relegated to peasants and menial labor, and those with no edge are banished to the dungeons, or worse. The land is made up of circular islands floating above an abyss, with a massive castle looming over it.
- Bröde, King of Blades (Kindness/Cruelty)
- Created from the restaurant's proudly displayed authentic broadsword, Brode proclaimed himself the king of "blades, edges, and points" and took control of the kingdom, enforcing the hierarchy of sharpness to keep himself at the top. Presenting himself as a massive titan made of steel, and an absolute powerhouse, Brode is actually an incompetent leader who bases his decisions on his own ego, leading him to fall into absurd tyranny very easily. He can be easily swayed by flattery, and he'll focus to the point of obsession on those who slight him.
- The main thing keeping him in power is that despite his comically bad attempts at ruling, Brode's strength is very real. His body is covered in the sharpest of edges, and he always carries two large swords from his collection. His secret weapon is himself - his head is actually the grip of a massive blade hidden inside his body, which he can wield with ease and can cut through nearly anything.
- His main hobby is polishing - whether that be the swords in his collection, or even his own knights, Brode will polish anything made of steel until his own reflection is visible. This isn't appreciated by most of his knights, but they can do little to fight against it. His obsession with polishing is enough that he can get sidetracked from important things if he even sees something that needs polishing.
