BACKGROUND: Mae Ra's mother came to Korea for a business trip and met her father, they fell in love and her mother stayed in Korea. Mae Ra is the third child out four and the only daughter. She grew up in a peaceful area and didn't really went through much rough times except for when her grandmother died. Her first collection she made are inspired by things she and her grandmother used to do together. At the age of fourteen she stared designing and when she was eighteen her mother helped promoting her first collection. She's well known in the fashion world but the normal man on the streets usually know nothing about her.
