- (Dev Note: Decimation's large organisation bonus was highly exploitable when coupled with reduced combat width on Infantry and a high concentration of Demolitions. Changing a majority of the bonus to no longer affect Weapon Infantry helps diminish the slightly without making said strategy irrelevant or reducing the effectiveness of this tech for other strategies. This also slightly diminishes the effective organisation for all strategies by lowering the amount provided to support companies.)
- The Legion Army HP +50% -> +40%, Organization Loss When Moving -50% -> -40%
- (Dev Note: We recently increased all HP buffs in technologies tenfold upon uncovering that all HP unit modifiers in HOI4 are effectively cut to a tenth of their intended and displayed value for reasons we are unsure of. In this changelog we are still referring to these values as what they are in practice despite these displaying with an extra 0 in game. We may change this in the future as we figure out how best to deal with this bizarre inconsistency.
- That all out of the way, this change to HP values had an exaggerated effect on doctrine techs which modifier HP by virtue of making those modifiers as impactful as originally intended. This is another thing in the favor of an already strong Ancient Tactics, so on top of reining in its organisation amounts we're going to be reducing the HP modifier here to open more room for other strategies.
- There may or may not be nerfs to other HP sources later down the road, or further nerfs to Ancient Tactics's HP, but for now we're leaving it at that.)
