  40. [12:12] The Ookami would furrow his brow, his jaw shaking with grief as his Amber hues looking over the stranger before him. His eyes would rest on the scar on her abdomen, his lips breaking into a snarl.

  42. "Aaliyah, what did they do to you?" He'd ask in a snarl, choosing to reject the disconnect she placed between herself and who she was.

  44. "This isn't right, what you are, it is not what you wanted. Sister, please, let me free you from your tortured existence." It was surprising to see the ordinarily stoic knight plea so desperately.

  46. It broke his heart to see what his little sister had become, Shai's pleas crying out in his memory from her funeral. Save Aaliyah. Sadly it seemed that there was nothing to save, but he couldn't let them abuse her soul in that manner.

  70. She watched the man before her speak - and uncontrollably liquid quickly began to flood her eyes... Yet she didn't cry - she refused to do so... "You were her brother..."

  72. Biting down on her lip she looked to the side - a hazy happy childhood with the man that stood before her. Her lip quivered.. Her body almost shook with anger - confusion...

  113. [12:20] There was many things that could happen, Gisel could've remembered who they were, why they were this, and ask for death. However, to his surprise? They did not. Instead, they neglected such a thing and even apologized for it. Good on them.

  122. The word 'Sister' made him wince further, angry eyes drifting on the snickering Theodore.

  132. [12:21] Ashur recently hit his head on in the plains and you could not say his mental well being was truly in its peak. When he marched out of the nursery, he would find himself in the vicinity of a quarrel between sister and brother. He had no context whatsoever, hearing words like 'I am a different person, only wearing the face of the women you once knew'. Ashur figured it was a figure of speech.

  134. "Looks like she still remembers her tea. 'Chai', get it?" The youth did not mean to be obnoxious, only thinking it was some strange drama between sister and brother. With lit up eyes, he awaited for someone to laugh at his joke.

  138. [12:22] Scratches the back of their neck, contemplating on if they should practice sometime soon. Even though they did not have to, the notion of training would be good. No one wanted to be fat and useless.

It was nice to see Eva want to train; it'd be a more active way to stay in shape than whatever they'd likely been doing before now. Though he wasn't going to make that connection, as to not seem rude.

He'd reach out to her, if Shai was an anchor for her, then surely that would be enough of a tie to spark a memory.

Or when Dad pretended to be that Necromancer we beat down together, don't you atleast remember that?" More pleading as his body began to shake ever so slightly, his earthen roots shaken to the core.

  181. [12:40] The young Oscuri grit their teeth. Even if they were enemies, watching someone else fall apart because of a loss was... stressing. Did they deserve it? Did they need it? The teenager couldn't tell for sure- never saw them, never met them.

  183. But- by the sounds of it, he was a loving brother. Something Saige never experienced. Closing their eyes, they willed for the visions to overtake them.

  195. Hearing the sounds of battle only intensified these emotions of confusion and stress. Dammit, that wasn't helping at all!

  199. [12:40] Her body shook - but she didn't resist the hug, yet after a few moments that her cold body touched Airgenald's she pulled back... Looking at him. Her told her stories - fiction or relatity they were there... And as snippets of snow and glass filtered through her body she looked at him - stared at him...

  201. "Those stories shaped Aaliyah... They shaped her as a person - and those encounters..." She couldn't resist but to give Airgenald a cruel smile. "Those encounters shaped her to being a hateful person... A person that ended getting herself - and Shai... killed."

  203. Aaliyah - Gisei.. She took a step back, her head ringing in undesirably rhythms… Tunes that she didn't want to hear... Yet at her mind stung a certain snake, a constant leash - a reminder.

  205. "Aaliyah Ixis is dead. Please have a funeral for her, please... Forget her."

  207. The undead stepped back from him. "Those stories you tell me are heart-warming. They are amazing... But they did not shape me. They shaped Aaliyah."

  209. Her right hand extended before her, where a shard of emerald glass would come to existence.

  213. The piece of glass rose, and the sharp end pressed on her cheek and cut deep, she dragged it down to her mouth, leaving behind a gash with multiple areas where the inside of the undead's mouth could be seen...

  215. "Would your sister do this to herself? No. I am not her. Just like Esso said."

  217. "I just wear her face. So please, forget about her - and if you wish to start a relationship with me, as my own person. You can... Otherwise."

  219. She took a deep breathe, embers of holy flame beginning to weave the gash shut to a certain extent.

  225. [12:41] Saige says, "Gisei..."
  226. [12:42] Saige spoke out without meaning to, their eyes opening and staring at the undead woman.

  230. [12:43] Ohtli remains rooted in her spot, watchful and scarcely blinking. The slight tremors in the ground persist, like a distant earthquake. While the surface is calm, carefully manicured, something churns beneath.

  236. [12:45] Theodore would feel nothing more than amusement from all of this. The young Ultovex knew how to seperate their present life from their past life, and that much deserved a deep a deep inhale of their pipe. Followuing suit was a slow exhale of black smoke. Then, they undead looks at the little Saige and leans in for a whisper.

  240. [12:45] Theodore Khan whispers something.

  243. [12:48] There was lack of understanding on Ashur's features, who stared at the couple with furrowed brow. He did not understand the contest previous to whatever incident befell the couple and thus stood there rather blankly. Disasters happened everywhere, even he used to be a slave. Their melodramatic moment moved him, yet it was alike a third party watching from the sidelines. It just was not as emotional as for those who experienced it first hand.

  245. With a shrug, Ashur headed off either to the east or perhaps the west even. A curious little rascal who wished to find something to occupy hands scuttled away from the crowd, curiously looking around.

  249. [12:48] Savan looked on at all the commotion in the common area. People standing everywhere. He took out an apple and began eating it. Taking his axe with him he headed towards the commotion. Something about someone not being who they were or something. Very strange things indeed. Taking a bite from the apple he leaned next to the purple haired one. "What's going on here?" he asked as politely as possible of the purple haired one. He took another bite from the apple.

  253. [12:49] Ashur asks, "What are you guys up to?"
  254. [12:50] Albrecht Jaegar asks, "Hm...?"
  255. [12:50] Albrecht Jaegar says, "We're just tending the stall."
  256. [12:51] Saige whispers something.
  257. [12:51] He'd grow rigid as he watched the undead lacerate her own cheek with Aaliyah's own crystals, spouting on to forget and let her live on. Sadness and grief became rage.

  259. "Have a funeral and forget while you trounce around, desecrating my sister's body? No." He'd barked, gripping his shields until his knuckles went white.

  261. "I will never forget Aaliyah for as long as I live, and I will not rest until her soul is freed from.. This prison." He'd say looking up and down and gesturing to everything that she had become.

  263. "No, you're not my sister anymore, just another tortured ghost in a body." Amber eyes would look sharply over to Ohtli.

  265. "Miss Ohtli, I wish to challenge Gisei Ultovex here to an honor duel to the death."

  269. [12:51] Ohtli Tezcacoatl asks, "...Are both parties in agreement?"

  280. As his words left his mouth, they were filtered through her head. Unwanting to hear it - unwanting to know more...

  282. And as his words of the duel left his lips she turns to Ohtli.

  284. "I am unfortunately unable to grant that request. Lord Ultovex had advised me to stay out of matters which may lead to my death. If you wish to challenge me truly, I would suggest you send a letter to Sors Ultovex."

  286. She turned away from him, walking towards Teddy and Saige.

  288. "Aaliyah may be dead, but I am still here. And I intend to make what I can of my life. I have a new family right here." She patted both Saige and Teddy on the shoulder.

  292. "I will formally deny your request. Perhaps once Lord Ultovex allows it, I will have no issues with accepting it."

  296. [12:55] Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "It sounds as if she's beholden to the one that twisted her mind, Spud."
  297. [12:55] Vaan Invidia says, "You sister is like that because of me, Airgenald. If you'd like revenge then I'll accept a battle to the death against you."
  298. [12:55] Ashur says, "Oh tending the stall, I see."
  299. [12:55] Ashur asks, "What are your names?"
  300. [12:55] Gisei Ultovex says, "Vaan there is no need."
  301. [12:55] Albrecht Jaegar says, "I'm Albrecht."
  302. [12:55] Gisei Ultovex says, "You may have captured Aaliyah - but it was your uncle who killed her."
  303. [12:56] The Oscuri lifted their head just slightly, staring upwards at Gisei carefully. There was silence, before they spoke out, in a quiet murmur.

  305. "... This is a mess... Will you be alright?" Genuine concern leaked into their voice, an attempt to share what empathy they had while their mind was still reeling.

  309. [12:57] Gisei turns to Saige. "Of course I'll be fine. Just you watch." A smile followed after, and maybe even a head-pat if he allows it!

  313. [12:57] Tizetch stretches as he wakes up, yawning and looking around.

  335. [13:04] A bit confused why the purple haired one wouldn't answer his question, he simply watched to determine what exactly was going on. Seems events in Dawn are spilling over into Crafthold. Something was sad about this story but he didn't want to wine in a doggish manner in front of an Oscuri. Finishing the apple he scratched his head and threw the core near the building. The rats would get a good meal he thought.

  339. [13:04] He'd grit his teeth even tighter, his eyes following his prey as she moved over, brainwashed and believing she had another family. A duel refused, and another offered. The one who broke his back when attempting to destroy a tower from Obsidia.

  341. It was a close fight last time they fought, and Airgenald was feeling a little better after his circuits were settling after the blessing he had received. Though he was the one that captured his sister, his discrepancy is what is done with her body.

  343. Despite his frustrations and itch for a battle, he also had obligations that kept him from throwing him into the fray. His cause for coming here to crafthold, rather than joining Huangzhou and fighting on the front lines.

  345. The Ookami knight would shake his head. "I have no Quarrel with you, Invidia. I refuse your duel." His head would turn back to the undead parading as his sister.
  346.  
  347. "Though you best be careful, because I know you scent now, and I will hunt you down." Declaring such a thing in turn would make him a target, and he would glance back to the Invidia wanting to take him out.

  349. "That will be your opportunity, if you so wish to try and put me down."
