Welcome to /vrg/ - Virtual Reality General

Our general's purpose is to discuss Virtual Reality games and technology.
VRChat currently makes up the bulk of the thread content since its focus on user generated content and user interation means it can eat up a lot of your time if that sort of thing interests you.
Other VR games are often hosted in the thread too though, so feel free to organize something if you don't see a lobby post up.

You'll want a fairly good computer to keep the framerates steady, but the minimum requirements aren't as high as you may think.
You can use the SteamVR performance test to get an idea of how good your computer is for VR:

>Headset Selection
The current PCVR headsets are the Rift S and the Index, and your best bet is probably to pick up one of these.
Windows Mixed Reality headsets or used Rifts/Vives are still out there too if you're looking for a cheaper PCVR option.
Oculus Quest is mostly intended as a standalone headset, but can also be used with a PC through Oculus Link.
PSVR is pretty limited, so avoid it if you can.
If you've got any questions, post in the thread, and we'll try to help.

>forced new circlejerk ruled by a tyrant already banning people not fitting his ideal image, they used an (anonymous) alt but revealed incredibly bias reasons for creating/buzzworded/played on old issue that haven't happened in almost a year, its for "looking for games" but they are too lazy to even host or haven't even hosted or posted a single game after jamming it in our OP and pushing the main discord to the bottom, but it is a "Looking for Games" discord. Looks dead on arrival, noballs used an alt too, it has assets too so good luck with that mess, join it and push it if you want to help a delusional anon accomplish his dreams of /vrg/ domination, so he can be the most powerful discord moderator.
