  1. Driver: Name of the character taking part in the race.
  2.
  3. Vehicle Name: What your driver refers to their car as.
  4.
  5. Vehicle Description: What the car/cart/whatever your character drives/pilots looks like.
  6.
  7. CAR STATS:
  8. You have 40 points to spread around here however you see fit. Cap is 8.
  9.
  10. Base Health: How much of a beating can your car take. Once this drops below half, the car accelerates at half its usual speed. Might be a good idea to not lose that much, eh?
  11.
  12. Base Protection: Rolled to negate damage. Every point of your opponent's attack rolled above this will result in .5 damage taken to your health, and a point subtracted from your current speed.
  13.
  14. Base Attack: Ramming power, essentially. Also added to your weapons' power. Rolled against to opponent protection to deal damage and slow them down.
  15.
  16. Base Speed: How fast can your car go. Each point is equivalent to ~40km/h. Stat doesn't directly get rolled.
  17.
  18. Base Acceleration: How quickly your car speeds up. This gets rolled each turn to determine how much is added to your current speed - A point in acceleration is equal to an increase in speed by half a point (20 km/h). Once your car reaches its maximum speed, acceleration is no longer rolled unless the speed drops again. Speed of acceleration is halved when the car's health drops below half.
  19.
  20. Base Handling: How well your car grips the road. Rolled together with the Driver stat to determine how well a turn is taken.
  21.
  22. Driver: How well your character operates the vehicle. Rolled together with handling to determine how well a turn is taken, and may be rolled to avoid an attack.
  23.
  24. SPECIALTY STATS:
  25. You can have as many as you like with a minimum of two. You're given sixteen points to spend here. A single point will give you a stat that boosts a skill by ONE for a roll and can be used once after every THREE rolls. You can add points to either lower the amount of rolls you have to wait for, with a minimum of one, or to increase the effect by one point, with a maximum of six. You can add weapons to your vehicle in this section as well, boosting your attack - for weapons, you can increase the range of the weapon by adding points, with no real limit. (At 0 the weapon works under 200m, at 1 it works up to 400, at 2 up to 600, etc.)
  26.
  27. Skill(Boost;Cooldown;Range): Description
  28. (Example: Gatling Gun(4;3;6): A large gun mounted on top of the car, operated from the inside. Rapid fire, but overheats somewhat regularly, needing a while to cool off. (Weapon adds 4 to the base attack every four turns, at a range of 1,4 km.)

  33. HOW THE RACE WORKS
  34.
  35. ______________________________________
  36.
  37. The drivers facing each other off are chosen using a bracket based on when they come online. If you don't like the bracket and would like to see it changed, let me know.
  38. The race happens in turns. Each turn, the players roll their dice (Done via /choose -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) according to whatever stats they intend to use that turn, taking the distance, damage done to their car, and current car speeds into account.
  39. Distance is measured in 'steps'. Each step is equal to ~200m, and is equal to the distance a vehicle travels at .5 speed.
  40. When dealing with swerves, turns and obstacles, the players roll their handling and driver skill to determine how well they do. Each of these rolls has a different DC (Lowest amount of point required to successfully pass), and each point rolled below it will result in that many points removed from the car's current speed. If the car's speed drops below zero, half of the negative points are removes from the car's health.
  41. Since I can't always be around, it's up to the players to keep track of the car positions and stats and such. Remember to share your sheets with your opponent before racing.
  42. You don't need to constantly be rolling, or even start the race right away- this is a roleplay, after all, and flavor stuff is most welcome in between rolls.
  43. And have fun or something.
