[04:57]	Minerva_Utts	extracts Lanse, a day after helping Tosh "escape", and leads him rather forcefully in the direction of the the simulator room for no well-explained reason, marching through the base with a greater degree of purpose than normal.
[05:02]	Lanse_Tianshi	lets himself be led somewhere new! He's finally gotten out of that wet plugsuit and into some dry clothes so everything's not quite as cold as it felt the other day. "Excuse me, Minerva?"
[05:03]	Minerva_Utts	looks behind at him, and, frowning less than usual, raises an eyebrow.
[05:03]	Lanse_Tianshi	puts on a gentle smile for the nice girl. Everyone here is nice... mostly! "Where are we going?"
[05:04]	Minerva_Utts	responds flatly. "The simulators."
[05:05]	Lanse_Tianshi	"What kind of simulators?"
[05:05]	Minerva_Utts	gives Lance a nasty stare. "Evangelion simulators."
[05:06]	Lanse_Tianshi	slows down by a step or two. "...Oh."
[05:07]	Minerva_Utts	"They might be different to the ones you used in China." Minerva leads on, looking ahead.
[05:08]	Lanse_Tianshi	speeds back up, still full of questions. "Are they older models?"
[05:09]	Minerva_Utts	"They're as old as the Angel war. So, yes."
[05:09]	Minerva_Utts	frowns to herself at the state of them.
[05:12]	Lanse_Tianshi	"I was trained to pilot the <Imperial Dragon> using the newest and most refined simulators." Lanse sounds proud of that fact, maybe this new place isn't quite as perfect or advanced as glorious China but at least the people are nice!
[05:15]	Minerva_Utts	looks back around at Lanse, over her shoulder. "I don't know what the <Umprerrr Dogoo> is."
[05:17]	Lanse_Tianshi	raises an incredulous eyebrow. "The <Imperial Dragon>. I was brought here in it."
[05:19]	Minerva_Utts	takes a second to process this.
[05:19]	Minerva_Utts	"Oh. Your Evangelion."
[05:19]	Minerva_Utts	nods. "It looks alright."
[05:20]	Lanse_Tianshi	tries to not look offended.
[05:21]	Minerva_Utts	frowns back as Lanse takes his time responding, and marches on.
[05:23]	Lanse_Tianshi	"Yes. My Evangelion." He pauses for a moment, letting the offense fade away. "You're a pilot as well, right?"
[05:25]	Minerva_Utts	Minerva cringes, fortunately mostly out of sight. "Yes."
[05:26]	Lanse_Tianshi	"Have you ever piloted an Eva yet?"
[05:27]	Minerva_Utts	"...Yes."
[05:28]	Lanse_Tianshi	sounds very interested and excited even! "What was your first time like?"
[05:31]	Minerva_Utts	seethes for a few seconds, slowing.
[05:31]	Minerva_Utts	"It doesn't matter."
[05:33]	Lanse_Tianshi	stares at the back of Minerva's head with his mouth open in disappointment.
[05:34]	Lanse_Tianshi	"...But wasn't it fun?"
[05:36]	Minerva_Utts	Minerva tries to end the conversation with a very firm "No."
[05:39]	Lanse_Tianshi	frowns.
[05:39]	Lanse_Tianshi	"....Oh."
