The voice of many have spoken, and it is not happy. The server is in a state of flux right now. New members have flooded and have begun shitposting a lot. The problem here lies not with the new members, but rather the fact that a lot of new members (and some old) act like children in a server oriented towards adults. This ends now.

Today, Poly and I will be implementing some drastic changes for the sake of the server. Firstly, we have created dedicated art dump channels for people to do their typical random art dumping in. Any dumping of unoriginal art in SFW/NSFW art channel will be deleted and the person warned. With this change, SFW/NSFW art will be oriented towards creators and original works rather than typical art dumps that drown out everything else.

A new channel, a quarantine channel, has been made. Members who are repeatedly warned but fail to yield to warnings will be placed in there for a period of time ranging from a day to a week. While there they can post in that channel only. If the member continues their behavior after being let back into the server, they’re eating a ban hammer.

Take this time to look over the rules again. In the past, they've been loosely enforced. That changes today. Starting right now, the rules shall be enforced as-written. If you break the rules, there will be consequences. Nobody is exempt. Off-topic posting will now be punished as per according to the rules. First with a warning, then more severe consequences as a result of continuing the behavior. This way, we’ll filter out the people who are actually a problem.

You might be confused as to what the difference between sfw-art/nsfw-art and sfw-dump/nsfw-dump is. sfw-art/nsfw-art is intended for artists/writers/creators to post what they've created, whether it's a drawing, a story, or something else. It's no longer for dumping non-original content. SFW/NSFW are meant for new original things. If you want to dump art somebody else did, then it goes into a dump channel. Like it's written above, rules shall be strictly enforced with this.

Lastly, a new rule has gone into effect as of right now. I'd like to call this the maturity clause. What does it mean? Well, if you have to ask you might want to start worrying. Just because you're 16+ doesn't mean you're acting like it. If you repeatedly act like a child, you shall be treated as such and removed from the server. What dictates immaturity shall be done on a case by case basis. If you're generally seen as an attention whore, or frequently cause channels to go off topic, or generally annoy the public, you should evaluate your behavior and change it accordingly now. We've been very loose with this kind of thing up until now, but the enormous outcry from members to do something about childish members has reached a threshold. Something must be done.
