  mina has the personality where there really is no 'middle'. what this specifically means is that she can be a reserved and respectful little poodle who can spontaneously become a hyper and loud three year old. there really is no in-between to those traits. the reason to her being so quiet is due to trying to avoid being the center of attention and argument that would be hard to recover any relationship from. she is only quiet unless she is directly being spoken to. for example, if this child was in a debate or some situation where opposition to the opinions of others was present, she would either stay quiet while listening to what others had to say about the said topic or tell the people that she respected everyone's opinions and had no thoughts. it was not that she did not have any formed views but mina rarely understood the things they spoke about. it was not that she was an idiot, she is just a confused puppy. and that (confused plus being one of the 'youngest') does not mean she cannot be mature. when she acts like the kid hyped on a ton of sugar, it is hard to believe that she is really mature-- but it is true. she was raised up to be respectful to towards everyone. mina even behaves as a mother towards others, but mostly the slot 'sugar, no spice' since they had become the closest to one another. behind her reserved and mother-like traits, she is an outgoing person as well. do not make assumptions just by looking at her cover (not judging a book by the cover). overall, mina is chill and goes with the flow.

  mina comes from a mixed raced family. her parents preferred that she'd be exposed to both cultures and languages-- like any other set of parents that are culturally diverse. however, it technically backfired when mina was born and raised in korea. it was not a horrible thing, but her mother noticed that it was difficult for the child to catch on as nothing taught to her would apply while they were not in the country of origin. because her mother felt as though it was unfair to neglect the italian blood mina had running through her veins, around the time when she was in elementary school, both parents had decided it was fair that mina learn italian and their culture in the actual country while studying and living with her family on her mother's side. she spent two years in italy before coming back to korea. although her knowledge about italy was nothing compared to korea, it was enough for her mother to feel as though there was some type of balance and fairness for her. because mina's mother does not know perfect korean, it gave her a sense of relief once mina improved her italian and made it easier to communicate to her daughter.
