This is a mod which adds a number of creatures from the Pikmin series to Dwarf Fortress.

Each creature has been given attributes to resemble their abilities in the source material. Some things have been adjusted to suit DF's technical limits and setting (the most obvious being their size).

Below is a list of all currently added creatures, along with notes on their locations and intended abilities.

1. RED PIKMIN
Odd beings which grow like plants yet are as mobile as animals. Red ones are heat and fire resistant and are strong attackers.
BIOME: ANY_LAND, SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM (0-1)
Contains leaf, bud, and flower castes.
Buds are stronger and faster than leaves, flowers are stronger and faster than buds.
Immune to all fire.
Cannot die from age. Leaves a raw carrot as corpses. Not breedable.

2. YELLOW PIKMIN
Odd beings which grow like plants yet are as mobile as animals. Yellow ones fly higher than other Pikmin when tossed.
BIOME: ANY_LAND, SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM (0-1)
Contains leaf, bud, and flower castes.
Buds are stronger and faster than leaves, flowers are stronger and faster than buds.
Have better climbing skills than other pikmin.
Cannot die from age. Leaves a raw carrot as corpses. Not breedable.

3. BLUE PIKMIN
Odd beings which grow like plants yet are as mobile as animals. Blue Pikmin are at home in water and cannot drown.
BIOME: ANY_LAND, ANY_POOL, ANY_LAKE, SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM (0-1)
Contains leaf, bud, and flower castes.
Buds are stronger and faster than leaves, flowers are stronger and faster than buds.
Amphibious.
Cannot die from age. Leaves a raw carrot as corpses. Not breedable.

4. PURPLE PIKMIN
Odd beings which grow like plants yet are as mobile as animals. Purple Pikmin weigh ten times as much as a regular Pikmin.
BIOME: SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM (1-2)
Contains leaf, bud, and flower castes.
Buds are stronger and faster than leaves, flowers are stronger and faster than buds.
Cannot die from age. Leaves a raw carrot as corpses. Not breedable.

5. WHITE PIKMIN
Odd beings which grow like plants yet are as mobile as animals. White Pikmin are resistant to poisons and are themselves toxic to creatures that eat them.
BIOME: SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM (1-2)
Contains leaf, bud, and flower castes.
Buds are stronger and faster than leaves, flowers are stronger and faster than buds.
Cannot be poisoned; are in the POISONOUS class.
Cannot die from age. Leaves a raw carrot as corpses. Not breedable.

6. SPOTTY BULBORB
This nocturnal hunter feeds mostly on small animals returning to their nests at night.
BIOME: ANY_LAND
Max age 20-30. Large predator. Breedable mammal. Trainable. Pet. Exotic mount.

7. ORANGE BULBORB
Its bloodshot eyes make it clear that this grub-dog is excessively edgy and high-strung.
BIOME: NOT_FREEZING, SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM (2-3) (SAVAGE biomes only)
Max age 20-30. Large predator. Breedable mammal. Trainable. Exotic pet. Exotic mount.
Prone to rage.

8. SPOTTY BULBEAR
This rare species of bulborb has a certain indefatigability.
BIOME: ANY_WETLAND, SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM  (0-3)
Max age 20-30. Large predator. Breedable mammal. Trainable. Exotic pet. Exotic mount.
Intended to heal much faster than other creatures.

9. HAIRY BULBEAR
This subspecies of grub-dog has a thick coat of soft white fur that obscures its abdominal markings.
BIOME: GLACIER, TUNDRA, TAIGA, SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM  (0-1)
Max age 20-30. Large predator. Breedable mammal. Trainable. Pet. Exotic mount.
Shearable.
*I made a 'sheared' sprite, but there is currently no way to add it that I know of.

10. WHIPTONGUE BULBORB
Instead of the gnashing jaws usually found in related species, it uses its extensible, viscous tongue to capture prey.
BIOME: NOT_FREEZING
Max age 20-30. Large predator. Breedable mammal. Trainable. Exotic pet. Exotic mount.
*Meant to attack with its tongue, but I've yet to see it actually work...

11. FIERY BULBLAX
Due to the astonishing amount of heat produced by this beast, it should be observed with great caution.
BIOME: GLACIER, TUNDRA, TAIGA, ANY_WETLAND, MOUNTAIN, SUBTERRANEAN_LAVA (0-3)
Max age 20-30. Large predator. Breedable mammal. Trainable. Exotic pet. Exotic mount.
Emits fire. Watch out!

12. DWARF BULBORB
Although similar in appearance to spotty bulborbs, these belong to a totally different species.

13. DWARF ORANGE BULBORB
It's just as twitchy as its larger counterpart.
BIOME: NOT_FREEZING, SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM (0-3) (SAVAGE biomes only)

Prone to rage.

14. SNOW BULBORB
This organism mimics the hairy bulborb, but it is unable to grow the hair that gives the hairy bulborb its name.

15. BULBMIN
Strange... this bulborb has a plant sprouting from its spine, much like the plant on a Pikmin's head.

16. BREADBUG
This creature's thick hide protects it from most attackers.

17. GIANT BREADBUG
This gargantuan species of the greater breadbug family has a torso so perfectly square that it almost seems like it was formed in a mold.

Max age 30-40. Benign. Breedable mammal. Exotic mount. Exotic pet.

18. SHEARGRUB
Males of this species are purple and have an armored head.

19. SHEARWIG
Females of this species spend most of their life span underground.

Fully mature specimens have yet to be collected.

21. SWOOPING SNITCHBUG
Attacks by snatching its enemies and throwing them to the ground.

22. WATER WRAITH

23. BURROWING SNAGRET

This large, subterranean life-form suddenly erupts from underground to feast.

24. PILEATED SNAGRET

This variety of snagret has the ability to both burrow underground and walk above it.

25. IRIDESCENT FLINT BEETLE
These creatures keep undigested pellets in their stomachs, but given the right stimulus they will spit them out.

Vermin. Trap avoids. Leaves an emerald as a corpse.

26. IRIDESCENT GLINT BEETLE
This variety of beetle consumes subterranean minerals.

27. DOODLEBUG
The only species known to release flatulence to warn of danger.

28. HONEYWISP
This timid creature flies around collecting nectar from flowers.

29. GOOLIX

A watery gelatinous membrane protects this creature's nervous system.

30. MAMUTA
This seems to be a gentle, flower-loving creature, but if angered, it is fierce.
BIOME: ANY_LAND (GOOD biomes only)

31. PUFFSTOOL
This walking form can no longer absorb nutrients from the colony, but if the released spores contact another living creature, spore-encased fungal filaments will begin an explosive cycle of reproduction within the host, taking over its central nervous system.
BIOME: SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM (2-3)
Cannot be poisoned; is in the POISONOUS class.
Emits poison that causes frenzy. Not breedable. Exotic pet.

32. PUFFMIN
Odd beings which grow like plants yet are as mobile as animals. Tranformed by exposure to Puffstool spores.
BIOME: NONE
Cannot be poisoned; is in the POISONOUS class.
Cannot die from age. Leaves plant matter as corpses. Not breedable. Exotic pet.

33. RED ONION
A large, round life form that acts as a nest for red Pikmin.
BIOME: ANY_LAND
Benign. Cannot be poisoned. Fire immune.

Will produce Red Pikmin when threatened.

34. YELLOW ONION
A large, round life form that acts as a nest for yellow Pikmin.

36. IVORY CANDYPOP BUD
Tossing Pikmin into this flower always produces white Pikmin, regardless of the color of Pikmin tossed in.

The egg sac of the largest female grub-dog within a given range swells to dramatic proportions in response to environmental changes.

39. (MALE) EMPEROR BULBLAX
This massive grub-dog buries itself when hunting.
Amphibious.

40. BULBORB LARVA
As its name implies, this creature is a bulborb in an early stage of development.
BIOME: NONE.

*Will never actually grow into an adult bulborb.

41. SKITTER LEAF
Its wings have evolved into the leaflike structure on its back, which serves to hide it through mimicry.

42. FIERY BLOWHOG
This creature expels a combustible phosphor that ignites at moderate temperatures.

This is a large-bodied, flying organism, but its interior is as empty as a blimp.
