- INTRODUCTION + DATE AND TIME
- Time: 22:58
- Date: 02/14/XXXX
- DATE AND TIME INFO
- Before you start your run, set your date to either February 14th or March 14th - this will allow you to get 5 Sweet Hearts instead of 1 in Camphrier Town, which makes it much easier to raise Hawlucha's friendship for the Lucky Egg.
- You want to set your time so that you avoid wind in Lumiose Badlands and hail in Anistar City. On a very good run, it should take you roughly 1hr34mins to reach Lumiose Badlands, roughly 1hr46mins to exit the Power Plant into Lumiose Badlands again (it's not a huge deal if you fail to avoid wind here), and roughly 2hr16mins to reach Anistar City.
- Lumiose Badlands has no wind at :10-20, :30-40, :50-00 mins every hour.
- Anistar City has no hail at
- :10-50 for hours 00, 04, 08, 12, 16, 20
- :10-40 for hours 01, 05, 09, 13, 17, 21
- :00-20, :40-00 for hours 02, 06, 10, 14, 18, 22
- :00-20, :30-00 for hours 03, 07, 11, 15, 19, 23
- Set your time to 23:03 so that you get two massages for Hawlucha in Cyllage City. This is slower than picking up the HP Up on Route 8, but allows you to get the Lucky Egg with greater consistency.
- INTRO SECTION
- - Holding down either A or B makes text scroll faster (even if your Text Speed is set to Fast), so do that for the whole game.
- Unlike in most other Pokémon games, the intro section counts towards your game time in X/Y, so get through this bit as fast as you can. Pick the girl - it's safer (Calem has a -Speed Meowstic at Coumarine City). Use a single-character name.
