  1. Coalition is now over 1 year old! This is a great achievement. As our 2017 is coming to a close the staff would like to do an End of the Year Superlatives! If you think back to high-school, and for some of you that has been quite awhile... end of the year superlatives were when your class voted on "awards" to hand out to each other. While that's not a flattering image... there have been some great moments shared by members here and this will attempt to capture those moments permanently.

  3. We have a google survey populated with awards that the membership can vote on. All answers are short answer. Please type your answers in lowercase and type names only (no descriptions after). This is because identical answers get tallied and it will be easier to determine winners. If you are having trouble with this, check the Members tab on the forums for people's names, and the mission section for mission names and so on...

  18. It can mean the best story, the most fun, the best executed... whatever you want.

  24. This award goes to any member, specialist, or HQ member that has used the Zeus role the best.
  25. This award is for the Zeus who has spurred the most fun, compelling, and active engagements, missions, and sessions.

  29. "Captain America" -- Platoon Leader of the Year

  31. This award goes to the man with the plan!
  32. The man with the best plans, and/or consistently good Platoon leadership!

  38. A man who takes orders like a champ and delegates them to his squad, and sometime may have to take things into his own hands.

  43. Fire Team Leader of the Year

  45. Not only does the FTLotY manage the individuals under him, but he is the role model for his troop and a big influence on all members.
  46. This award goes to the Fire Team leader who performed the best over the last year, and has shaped our recruits to be excellent company members.

  52. An award which goes to the most consistently "clutch" AT man and who rarely misses a shot.

  57. ------------------------------------------------------------[/i]
  58. Every one gets shot eventually, but not everyone will die.
  59. This award goes to an outstanding medic who keeps his calm and keeps soldiers alive and back into the fight.

  63. The "WILCO" Award -- Best Radio Comms

  65. This award goes to a member who displays all the right qualities on the radio: accuracy, conciseness, brevity, and all in a calm tone.

  71. This award goes to a member who displays the worst qualities on the radio. Longwindedness, speaking in circles, speaking incoherently, or just plain... bad on the radio.

  77. Blue on Blue. Friendly-fucking. Teamkilling. It happens... but it's not supposed to happen this much.
  78. This award goes to the member who is the best team killer of the group. Whether it was a great shot, a terrible car crash, or just plain consistency... you may find yourself saying "Et tu, friendlay?"

  84. This guy knows how to handle his stick. The best pilot award covers all air roles and types.

  90. This award goes to the best tree killer. The mountain slayer. The pilot who may or may not have jumped out of his aircraft after starting his engine on the flight deck, who may or may not have seen those power lines, who may or may not have run someone over, and/or who may or may not eaten too many missiles.
