The ways of the beanie

Alexithymiaa: -Brad stood over the bag they had brought with clothes and whatnot, his hands inside rummaging around through their belongings. Letting out a little groan, he knelt down in front of the bench because he was tired of standing, continuing to search through the bag.-
Covet: Kelsey came out of the bathroom, securing her hair in place as she walke dup to see Brad going through their stuff, She furrowed her brow and tilted her head to the side, "What exactly are you looking for there hun?" She asked him, putting her hands on her hips as she watched him.
Alexithymiaa: "I could have sworn up I brought a joint and a lighter. Did you take it out before we left?" He asked as he looked up at her coming out of the bathroom.-
Covet: "No I didn't, And you're sure you put it in the bag and not somewhere else? Did you shake out the towels?" She asked him as she leaned over the bag, "That'd be a bummer if you forgot it" Kelsey said with a frown.
Alexithymiaa: -He ducked his head back down to rummage through the bag again, pulling out one of the towels and the bag of joints flying out with it. "Found it." Setting the towel down on the bench, he grabbed for the bag and pushed up to his feet to start pulling one out.-
Covet: "Hey look at that." Kelsey said with a smirk. "And you put them in a bag, in case they happened to fly into the pool. Look at how smart you are." She teased lightly waiting for him. She sat down on the bench and crossed one of her long legs over the other.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh... uh... yeah... I did." He said unsurely, not wanting to volunteer that he kept them in a bag regardless of the pool. He reached for the lighter, igniting the end of the joint and bringing it up to his lips to take a long hit off of it before holding it out to her. "By the way, your final cut should be ready within the next few days."-
Covet: "Realy!?" Kelsey said excitedly. " That's fantastic, I'm hoping that the complete finished work can be ready to premiere in a week or so. Nancy has been talking about something big and surprising for this video drop, to shake the masses." She said rolling her eyes a little, before she took the joint from him, taking a hit.
Alexithymiaa: "It should be, yeah. Unless there's something you don't like about it and want some changes. Other than that, we're right on schedule." He said with a nod as he watched her take a hit from the joint. He turned, walking to the pool and dropping to take a seat so he could dip his legs into the water.-
Covet: "That's fantastic!" Kelsey said taking another hit, before getting up to sit next to him. "Have I told you lately how amazing you are?" She asked him. Kelsey stop, he doesn't need his ego stroked. He's a butt most of the time.
Alexithymiaa: "Not often enough for my liking." He said with a grin, kicking his feet through the water a bit. "I could definitely stand to hear it a lot more."-
Covet: "Oh I'm sure you good. I'm sorry I only give it out when I feel it's actually been earned." She told him sticking her tongue out as she handed the joint over to him. "I had fun this weekened too. Thank you for letting me tag along to LA with you."
Alexithymiaa: "I earn it." He said with a whine, taking the joint back from her so he could take another hit. "Of course. You're always welcome to tag along with me so long as you don't mind me having to work."-

Covet: "I don't mind you having to work. If I was smart, I'd plan my work there, during your work, that way we could enjoy the downtime together." Kelsey said with a laugh.

Alexithymiaa: "Well I guess that still makes me the smart one." He said while beaming, sticking out his chest. "You should be taking notes."-
Covet: "I think I'll hold off on the note taking for just a little bit still there, smartass." Kelsey said then took the joint from him, shoving him into the pool as he stuck out his chest.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey!" He yelled as he slipped off the edge and into the pool, being a bit more dramatic than necessary as he waved his arms and sunk under the water. He pushed up from the bottom and shook his head off, his beanie completely soaked.-
Covet: Kelsey laughed as he slipped into the water, "Oh come on, it's not even that bad, you made it seem way worse than it needed to be." She laughed, "Oh... and your beanie is wet... yay... that means we get to have that fight later this week."
Alexithymiaa: -He spat out some water and pulled his beanie off his head, wringing it out before slapping it back on. "What fight?" He asked, the momentary lapse of what they go through every fucking time slipping his mind.-
Covet: "The fight of me having to wash your beanie." Kelsey said flatly as she took another hit off the joint. "Though you do have that new rainbow one your sister gave you. That you could switch out with."
Alexithymiaa: -He mulled the idea over for a minute before shrugging. "I guess I do need to wear it a little to break it in before Im willing to leave Talon wearing it..." He started. "But only while you're washing the good one."-
Covet: "That's fine. That's all you need to wear it for." Kelsey said with a smile. "I'll make sure that one is washed quickly so that you're not without it for too long." She seemed excited because this was a first and it was good that he was at least considering it, which was also unexpected.
Alexithymiaa: (Like a fucking child.)
Alexithymiaa: -He patted his hands down on top of his wet beanie, a grin spreading across his face. "Yeah... it's just the back up one. It's not nearly as important as the real one. It will never be number one."-
Covet: "No of course not. Though... I find it rather funny that as soon as your sister gets you a beanie...you're okay with the idea of a back up one, but when I presented that very same idea, you acted like it was preposterous." She said to him, kicking at the water a little.
Alexithymiaa: "I actually like the one she got me." He said very matter of factly, kicking backwards to float across the top of the water on his back. "Most of them look shitty. And feel shitty."-
Covet: "So what you're saying is that you completely lack faith in my ability to find you a suitable substitute. Bradley... I'm hurt." She said with a fake frown.
Alexithymiaa: "Most beanies are scratchy." He whined, bringing his arms behind his head as he floated by. "You don't really understand the method in beanies. It's a science, really."-
Covet: "No, you assume I don't understand the method in beanies. What you don't remember to realize is that I am a female. And Females, pride themselves on finding the softest, most comfy materials out there, in which to adorn our bodies. So the fact that you seem to think I couldn't find a decent, comfortable beanie, is rather insulting, Bradley." Kelsey said to him.
Alexithymiaa: "Well I don't know!" He retorted, dropping his feet and swimming over to the edge. "My familys just heard me bitch about it a lot, that's why I assumed Ava knew what I would like. Not because she's a woman." He planted his hands on the edge, pulling himself out of the water and grabbing for a towel.-
Covet: "And I haven't heard you bitch about it a lot?" Kelsey said with a laugh. "Just admit you lack faith in me knowing the things you like and look for. It's okay. Both of us can't be the best in this relationship." She smirked as she got up and walked over to their bag to grab a towel as well too.
Alexithymiaa: "Shut up." He said with attitude, swinging the towel around his neck to hang there. "I don't know who a bitch to anymore. I just do it so much." He smirked and slipped his feet into his flops. "Are you ready to head out?"-
Covet: "Mhhm." Kelsey said with a smirk still on her face. "Well I'm glad you can admit to that much." She told him then grabbed their bag and such and slipped her hand into his, "Yep, let's go."
Alexithymiaa: -He took her hand, starting out of the building. "Savor it because I'll never say it again." He grinned, leading her out to the car so they could head back to Talon for sleeps.-
