Kyril L-Ward

Kyril L-Ward is a young man of 14 who had been given intense physical and simulation training to become a Lancer by his father, Llewelyn Firestorm. His memories of his mother are lacking and barely present, with just a photo of her to remind him of what she looks like. Shortly after qualifying as a Lancer pilot despite his young age, Llewelyn had vanished, fleeing as mysterious agents came after him. Kyril was re-evaluated by a tribunal and found to be sound of mind and body, and given the right to self-govern. He engaged in some missions thus far, and continues to engage in mech combat. He doesn't intend to look for his father, coming to Garden with the intention to further his career and gain recognition.

However, Kyril has gained deep-seated issues from his abusive childhood. He will latch onto authority figures, particularly male ones, or just about anyone who will give him orders or commands. He maintains a strict training regime, but often finds his time free or unoccupied now that the initial goal of becoming a Lancer has been achieved.  He is usually willing to accompany fellow Lancers on downtime activities, but feels limited by his young age, as well as alienated by older Lancers who resent him for achieving his status at a young age.

In combat he will take to the front line if necessary, relying on his skills and reflexes as well as his mech. His preferred frame is the Blackbeard, finding the physical strength of it admirable, and seeks to gain the Sekhmet NHP as a way to free himself from responsibilities of having to think and be active, and instead rely on the NHP entirely should the situation arise.

He is of Spanish-Chinese descent, with dusky skin and narrow eyes with a round nose. His eyes are brown and his hair is dark brown. His favorite foods are sweets, desserts and treats. He will become sad if he has too much, though. He has some scars from training, as well as a history of broken bones that his youth has allowed him to bounce back from. He is currently 5'7 and growing, and his voice is still developing and prone to cracking. He has never had any romantic interest in anyone, and would probably approach women or females in general with platonic intentions. His room is bare except for a potted cactus which he keeps in mind to water when necessary. He likes to be clean now that he isn't required to regularly crawl through mud or go through difficult weather conditions, but prefers unscented soap.
