  18. // I. Special Droprate Info
  19. // These bosses do not use the standard droprate formula and run off their own special rates.
  20.
  21. // Zanatath (APT Bonus: Yes, Luck Bonus: Yes, Chronowarper Boost: No)
  22. // Has two modes: Lesser VX and True VX. No Epics are dropped on Lesser VX (but Hessel will still appear).

  24. - Legendary: 1.00 Enchanted + 0.70 per player, 2.00 Epics
  25. - Heartcore: 1.00 Enchanted + 1.05 per player, 12.00 Epics
  26. - Special: NPC Hessel appears on Legendary and above, allowing players to choose 1 additional Epic item to obtain. If killed in True VX, allows choosing of 2 items instead of 1.
  27.
  28. // Tower Minibosses (APT Bonus: Yes, Luck Bonus: Yes, Chronowarper Boost: No)
  29. // Parvin, Villard, Arkham, Ripper
  30. // "Reduced" denotes droprate if 'Remove Ommog Respawns" option is used.
  31. - Normal: 0.21 items (Reduced: 0.07 items)
  32. - Legendary: 1.35 items (Reduced: 0.45 items)
  33. - Heartcore: 3.60 items (Reduced: 1.20 items)
  34.
  35. // Arthas (APT Bonus: No, Luck Bonus: No, Chronowarper Boost: No)
  36. // Drops a special rune item that can be used to upgrade a Level 39 Twins weapon to its Level 45 counterpart.
  37. // Has no other drops.
  38. // "Reduced" denotes droprate if 'Remove Ommog Respawns" option is used.
  39. - Normal: 6% chance (Reduced: 3% chance)
  40. - Legendary: 30% chance (Reduced: 15% chance)
  41. - Heartcore: 100% chance (Reduced: 50% chance)
  42.
  43. // Empowered Ommog Tower (APT Bonus: No, Luck Bonus: No, Chronowarper Boost: No)
  44. // You can attempt Empowered Tower mode by selecting Empowered Tower in the game options at map start. You have to do this on Nightmare difficulty.
  45. // All Tower bosses and minibosses
  46. - Nightmare: 1.00 items
  47.
  48. //=================================================================================
  49. // II. VX Task Mini-Guide
  50. You can accept the quest 'A Simple, Easy Task' from the Small Spirit in Emerith. By default, this quest will be completed in non-VX mode. You can complete this quest in VX Mode by selecting the 'Task VX' option at map start.
  51.
  52. If you manage to successfully complete VX Task, the amount of Relics dropped will be increased by 1 and you will also get Divine Carnelia as rewards (see section [III. Luck Mechanics]).
  53.
  54. If you manage to complete VX Task, then all players in that game will have their World Level advanced to [current Empowered Level + 1], granting additional stat and talent points and increasing the flat stat bonus that you acquire upon completing Sylph's Hero Trial. For heroes with World Level 1, this is [0.55 x Hero Level], added to both Constitution and one class-specific substat. Obtaining higher World Level increases this bonus.
  55. - World Level 2: +1 Talent Points, +15 Substat Points, +[0.75 x HeroLevel] Constitution and one class-specific substat
  56. - World Level 3: +2 Talent Points, +30 Substat Points, +[1.00 x HeroLevel] Constitution and one class-specific substat
  57. - World Level 4: +3 Talent Points, +45 Substat Points, +[1.30 x HeroLevel] Constitution and one class-specific substat
  58. - World Level 5: +4 Talent Points, +60 Substat Points, +[1.65 x HeroLevel] Constitution and one class-specific substat
  59. - World Level 6: +5 Talent Points, +75 Substat Points, +[2.05 x HeroLevel] Constitution and one class-specific substat
  60. - World Level 7: +6 Talent Points, +90 Substat Points, +[2.50 x HeroLevel] Constitution and one class-specific substat
  61. In addition, Relic drops will be further increased by [Empowered Level - 1].
  62.
  63. You will also gain Achievement Points based on your highest World Level obtained across all your characters.
  64. - World Level 2: 80 APT
  65. - World Level 3: 240 APT
  66. - World Level 4: 480 APT
  67. - World Level 5: 800 APT
  68. - World Level 6: 1200 APT
  69. - World Level 7: 1680 APT
  70.
  71. //=================================================================================
  72. // III. Luck Mechanics
  73. // Each point of Luck stat increases Fate Card, Epic and Relic droprate, Primal Flame and Blacklight Crystal droprate, Divine Carnelia base rate, and also grants a small chance to obtain 2x EXP and Gold from most sources.
  74.
  75. Your Luck stat can be increased in a few ways:
  76. - Spending Star Glass at the Wishing Fountain in Emerith (up to +100 Luck)
  77. - Equipping the Lucky Star item (+35 Luck)
  78. - Spending Dedication Points at Dedication Master Arlena (up to +50 Luck)
  79.
  80. The chance to get double XP and Gold is equal to 100 + [100 * (SquareRoot(Player's Luck) - 200) / (SquareRoot(Player's Luck) + 200)]. This formula is a little unwieldy, so here's some calculated values for you to eyeball it:
  81. - 10 Luck: 3.11% chance of double XP and Gold
  82. - 35 Luck: 5.75% chance of double XP and Gold
  83. - 85 Luck: 8.81% chance of double XP and Gold
  84. - 100 Luck: 9.52% chance of double XP and Gold
  85. - 150 Luck: 11.54% chance of double XP and Gold
  86. - 185 Luck: 12.73% chance of double XP and Gold
  87.
  88. For drops, your team's total Luck bonus is summed up from all players before being applied as a single, additive boost.
  89.
  90. Luck bonus affects boss drops the following ways:
  91. - Normal: Epic item drops increased by +[TotalLuck / 3000]
  92. - Legendary: Epic item drops increased by +[TotalLuck / 600]
  93. - Heartcore: Epic item drops increased by +[TotalLuck / 250]
  94. - Nightmare: Relic item drops increased by +[TotalLuck / 750]
  95. - This bonus doesn't affect certain bosses; see [I. Special Droprate Info] section.
  96.
  97. Divine Carnelia drop bonus is added before Empowered Level multiplier is calculated, so the total Divine Carnelia drop amount is ([0.25 * Player Count] + [TotalLuck / 1000]) * [Empowered Level]. If there is a fractional part remaining (e.g. 0.9 Divine Carnelia), one Blacklight Crystal will be spawned for every 0.333 Divine Carnelia remaining.
  98.
  99. For Fate Card, Primal Flame, and Blacklight Crystal drops, the game calculates a single multiplier based on your team's total Luck and APt bonuses and applies this multiplier to all three types of drops. This "Luck Multiplier" is (1.0 + [0.5 * players with 3250 APt or higher]) * (1 + [Total Team Luck / 100]).
  100.
  101. Using the above multiplier, the droprate of each item is as follows:
  102. - Fate Card: [Boss first kill APt / 2500 * Empowered Level * Luck Multiplier]
  103. - Primal Flame: [Boss first kill APt / 2500 * Empowered Level * Luck Multiplier]
  104. - Blacklight Crystal: [Boss first kill APt / 10000 * Empowered Level * Luck Multiplier]
  105. - These droprates are only for bosses that give APt. Tower minibosses (Parvin, Villard, Arkham, Arthas, Ripper) use different rules.
  106.
  107. Primal Flame drops for Tower minibosses:
  108. - Base rate: 1% for Normal, 3% for Legendary, 6% for Heartcore, 10% for Empowered Tower
  109. - Base rate is multiplied by 1.3x for Arthas and Ripper
  110. - Primal Flame drop: [Base rate * Luck Multiplier].
  111. - Blacklight Crystal drop: [0.25 * Base rate * Luck Multiplier].
  112. - On Empowered Tower, all Primal Flame drops are upgraded to Blacklight Crystal, and all Blacklight Crystal drops are upgraded to Divine Carnelia.
  113.
  114. //=================================================================================
  115. // IV. Pioneer Achievement
  116. // To get Pioneer kills: Be in a game with 3 or more players, all of whom are below a certain level. All players must be at World Level 0, and must stay that way until you kill The Twins (check with -st).
  117. // Note you can also view the below charts by using the -plist and -plistn commands in-game.
  118. Broodmother - Lvl 6 or below, +30 APT
  119. Narith - Lvl 12 or below, +30 APT
  120. Sand Golem - Lvl 16 or below, +30 APT
  121. Karrix - Lvl 18 or below, +30 APT
  122. Karavnos - Lvl 24 or below, +45 APT
  123. Tal'Navi - Lvl 28 or below, +45 APT
  124. M'Karsa - Lvl 30 or below, +60 APT
  125. Ancient Hydra - Lvl 32 or below, +60 APT
  126. Ortakna - Lvl 34 or below, +90 APT
  127. The Twins - Lvl 36 or below, +180 APT
  128. Full Completion (all above bosses) - Permanent +25% XP and Gold for all characters on your account
  129.
  130. // Nightmare UVX
  131. // These bosses are not required to be killed to obtain Pioneer and give no APT, but you can obtain relics from them as desired.
  132. Broodmother UVX - Lvl 28 or below
  133. Narith UVX - Lvl 32 or below
  134. Sand Golem UVX - Lvl 36 or below
  135. Naztar UVX - No level limit
  136. Karrix UVX or higher - (unobtainable in Pioneer)
  137.
  138. // Pioneer notes (for potential attempters):
  139. - All listed bosses must be killed in VX mode.
  140. - At *no* point are you allowed to kill one of the listed bosses with any character in your party that is above the level requirement. Doing so will make your character World Level 1, permanently disqualifying you from obtaining Pioneer using that character.
  141. - You *also* cannot have a World Level 1 character in your party at any point. Doing so will also set you to World Level 1.
  142. - Bosses listed on the Pioneer chart will give no experience and will have increased epic drop rate (+2 epics on Normal, +4 on Legendary). The EXP negation only affects listed bosses, so your party will need to be careful not to gain too much EXP on non-listed bosses.
  143. - Non-listed bosses are Naztar, Avnos, Karnos, Vjaier, Crueltis, Crypt Fiend, and Ghoul. These bosses will award XP as per regular rules. They can be safely killed with higher level characters in your game (everyone must still be World Level 0).
  144. - Because of the level limitations on bosses, your party will *never* be able to go back to farm gear from previous bosses. It is therefore important that your party stops to fully farm every boss for all needed gear before moving on.
  145.
  146. //=================================================================================
  147. // V. Victorious General Achievement
  148. // Victorious General is a special challenge mode, similar to Pioneer. To attempt the challenge, enter the command -genchallenge at map start before selecting a difficulty.
  149.
  150. // Victorious General description:
  151. - The goal of this challenge is to complete the entire game up to Twins in a single game.
  152. - You will not be able to save nor load characters in this mode.
  153. - Difficulty will be set to Legendary.
  154. - Fate Card and Reverse Fate Card effects will be disabled.
  155. - Bosses will drop exactly 1 of each of their Epic items.
  156. - Bosses will always drop 15 Enchanted items. Unlike the Epic drops, these Enchanted items will be random.
  157. - Parties of 6 or more players will gain 2 of each Epic instead of 1.
  158. - All players have a flat +120% EXP and +200% Gold bonus for the duration of the challenge.
  159. - No EXP will be lost upon death.
  160.
  161. // Notes (for potential challengers):
  162. - It's strongly recommended to already be familiar with all boss mechanics before attempting this challenge. It will be a multi-hour affair already, so prolonging it by needing to learn/practice bosses isn't a good idea.
  163. - Because there are no random Epic drops, part of the challenge will be rationing key items to players. Your team composition will matter a great deal; consider carefully beforehand how you will divide item loot according to class and player.
  164. - The Twins must be completed in VX mode. All other bosses need not be completed in VX, but remember that if you don't complete VX mode you will not get any Epic drops. So basically, you'll still want to complete VX mode.
  165. - Upon defeating Hydra, one of every Relic item from Broodmother and Narith will be dropped.
  166. - Upon defeating Ghoul, one of every Relic item from Sand Golem and Karrix will be dropped. You will also get 2x Ring of Barrier (4 for parties of 6+ players).
  167. - Additional key items will be provided based on the number of players:
  168. - 4 players: Ring of the Heavens, Aggressive Amulet, Agreeable Amulet, Twilight
  169. - 5 players: 2x Ring of the Heavens, Rejuvenating Ring, Recondite Ring, Winged Shoulders, Bewitched Girdle, Aggressive Amulet, Agreeable Amulet, Twilight
  170. - 6 players: 3x Ring of the Heavens, Rejuvenating Ring, Recondite Ring, Bewitched Locket, Dawn, Dusk, Winged Shoulders, Bewitched Girdle, Recondite Fascia, 2x Aggressive Amulet, 2x Agreeable Amulet, 2x Twilight
  171. - 7 players: 4x Ring of the Heavens, 2x Rejuvenating Ring, 2x Recondite Ring, Bewitched Locket, Dawn, Dusk, 2x Winged Shoulders, 2x Bewitched Girdle, Recondite Fascia, 2x Aggressive Amulet, 2x Agreeable Amulet, 3x Twilight
  172. - All items will spawn pre-forged to +6.
  173. - Level is capped at 43.
  174. - All players will gain a special Wish buff that grants 13% Life, 13% Attack Power, 13% Spell Power, and 30 movespeed for the Twins fight only.
  175. - Once you defeat The Twins, the save restriction will be lifted and you will be able to save your character.
  176. - [Victorious General] achievement: +400 APt, 25% XP and Gold bonus permanently, 20% discount on forging gold costs, reduce Wishing Fountain Star Glass cost to 0.
  177.

  206.
  207. Reversed Fate Cards
  208. - Once you obtain the 22 main Fate Cards, you can start buying Reverse Fate Cards.
  209. - Owning a Reversed Card grants you 40% of the stat bonus of that card, permanently.
  210. - Stat bonuses from Reversed Cards apply to all characters in your account.
  211. - This stacks with regular Fate Card bonuses, but is halved on characters that haven't completed Sylph's Hero Trial.
  212.
  213. Secondary Fate Cards
  214. - An additional 52 Fate Cards (arranged into 4 decks of 13) can be obtained after all primary Fate Cards.
  215. - These secondary Fate Cards provide the following benefits:
  216. - Swords:
  217. - Reduce the EXP lost on death by 1%.
  218. - Increases the stat bonuses provided by Offensive Wisp by 2% per card.
  219. - While Offensive Wisp is active, increase the duration of Emerith Elixirs by 2% per card.
  220. - Cups:
  221. - Reduce the EXP lost on death by 1%.
  222. - Increases the stat bonuses provided by Defensive Wisp by 2% per card.
  223. - While Defensive Wisp is active, increase the duration of Emerith Elixirs by 2% per card.
  224. - Wands:
  225. - Reduce the EXP lost on death by 1%.
  226. - Increases the stat bonuses provided by Supportive Wisp by 2% per card.

  228. - Pentacles:
  229. - Reduces all gold costs by 1.5% per card. This also affects gold lost on death.
  230.
  231. Each primary Fate Card grants you +25 APt. If you have all 22 primary cards, you gain an additional bonus of +500 APt, for a total of 1050 APt.
  232. Each secondary Fate Card grants you +5 APt, totalling an extra 260 APt for having all of them (no set bonus).
  233. Each Reversed Fate Card grants you +100 APt, totalling an extra 2200 APt for having all of them (no set bonus).
  234.
  235. //=================================================================================
  236. // VII. Enemy Spell Scaling
  237.
  238. Enemy spell damage, which includes almost everything that's affected by your Magic Resist, is scaled in one of two ways:
  239.
  240. Earlygame: as [Base Amount * 0.8 * Early Difficulty Modifier * Early Player Modifier].
  241. Lategame: as [Base Amount * (Late Difficulty Modifier + Late Player Modifier)].
  242.
  243. The "Earlygame" formula is only used by enemies before Ruined Temple; however, not all enemies use it.
  244. "Lategame" is used by pretty much everything else.
  245.
  246. "Base Amount" is the base damage of the ability.
  247.
  248. "Early Difficulty Modifier" is calculated depending on the base amount:
  249. - If the base damage is 200 or less, it's 1.0 on Normal, 1.35 on Legendary, 1.5 on Heartcore, 1.65 on Nightmare, and 1.55 on Champion mode.
  250. - If the base damage is between 200 to 400, it's 1.0 on Normal, 1.28 on Legendary, 1.41 on Heartcore, 1.54 on Nightmare, and 1.46 on Champion mode.
  251. - If the base damage is above 400, it's 1.0 on Normal, 1.22 on Legendary, 1.39 on Heartcore, 1.56 on Nightmare, and 1.44 on Champion mode.
  252. "Early Player Modifier" is 1.0 in solo games, and [0.9 + (0.07 * Player Count)] otherwise.
  253.
  254. "Late Difficulty Modifier" is 0.7 for Normal, 1.0 for Legendary, 1.2 for Heartcore, and 1.3 for Nightmare. Victorious General uses a difficulty modifier of 1.1125 (except during the Twins fight, where it's 1.0), and Champion difficulty's is 1.2625.
  255. "Late Player Modifier" is just [0.05 * Player Count].
  256.
  257. A few enemy abilities (such as the rain of arrows used by the Centaur Elite Ranger during the Crueltis fight) ignore Magic Resist, but are still scaled using spell scaling.
  258. Pure damage (such as the damage you take from Devil stacks on Karavnos UVX) is *never* scaled, except for a few cases in the Zanatath fight.
  259.
