Hayato: Moments ago, we received word of black Getter Robos engaging a horde of [Invaders]. I’m putting the footage up on the monitor now.

「間違いない…
ゲッターノワール2号機と3号機だ」
RYOMA: No doubt about it... Those are Getter Noir Unit-2 and Unit-3.

鉄也
「場所は?」
Tetsuya: Where is this?

隼人
「飛騨山脈上空だ。直ちに出撃するぞ」
Hayato: In the skies over the Hida Mountains. We’re heading out immediately.

宙
「了解!」
Hiroshi: Roger that!

甲児
「俺達もタワーに来ておいて、正解だったな」
Koji: Guess it’s a good thing we came to the Tower after all.

美和
「そうね、足並みを揃えられるから」
Uzuki: Yes, now we’ll be able to make our way there together.

リョウマ
「俺も行く」
RYOMA: I’m going too.

弁慶
「待て、お前のゲッターは
本調子じゃないことがわかってる。
修理を続けた方がいい」
Benkei: Hang on now. Your Getter still isn’t in the best of shapes. It’s better we keep working on repairing it.

リョウマ
「今の状態でも戦える」
RYOMA: I can fight with it as it is now.

弁慶
「だからと言って…」
Benkei: You say that, but...

竜馬
「連れて行った方がいい。
武蔵はともかく、隼人のクローンなら
理屈っぽいだろうからな…」
Ryoma: We should bring him with us. Musashi is one thing, but it’d be hard to get a clone of Hayato to listen to us...

童馬
「こいつが一緒だと、説明の手間が省ける」
Ryoma: We’ll have a much easier time explaining things with him around.

「フッ、確かに」
Hayato: Heh, can’t say you’re wrong.

Benkei: Sheesh, even you agreed.

「ゲッターノワール1号機の修理は中断。
出撃準備を急がせろ」
Hayato: Put a hold on repairs to Getter Noir Unit-1. Prepare it for launch immediately.

Yamazaki: Yes, sir!


(Scene changes to a map screen of a plain. All units are deployed.)

「ミッチー、飛騨山脈まで
あとどれぐらい掛かる?」
Steel Jeeg: About how much longer until we reach Hida Mountains, Michi?

美和
「20分程度よ」
Uzuki: Roughly 20 minutes.

鋼鉄ジーグ
「リョウ、それまで2号機と3号機はもつのか?」
Steel Jeeg: Will Unit-2 and Unit-3 be able to hold out until then, Ryo?

リョウマ
「そう簡単にやられる連中じゃねえ」
RYOMA: They won’t go down that easily.

ヤマザキ
「中佐、そちらの進路上にある岩川市近郊に
インベーダーが出現しました」
Yamazaki: Lieutenant Colonel, Invaders have appeared on your planned route, near the outskirts of Iwagawa City.

隼人
「ふん、待ち伏せか。
民間人の避難状況は?」
Hayato: Hm, a surprise attack, is it? How is the civilian evacuation proceeding?

ヤマザキ
「岩川市は人口が少ないため、
そちらが到達するまでにシェルターへの避難が
完了すると思われます」
Yamazaki: Iwagawa City has a relatively small population, so we suspect they will have finished evacuating to the shelters by the time you arrive.

隼人
「よし…鉄也とリョウは飛騨山脈へ向かえ。
それ以外の者は、岩川市のインベーダーを駆除する」
Hayato: Good. ...Tetsuya, Ryo, you two continue to the Hida Mountains. The rest of us will exterminate the Invaders in Iwagawa.

リョウマ
「いや、俺も行くぜ」
RYOMA: No, I’m going with you.

鋼鉄ジーグ
「どういう風の吹き回しだ?」
Steel Jeeg: Why the change of heart?

リョウマ
「俺にとってもインベーダーは倒すべき敵…
それに、さっきも言った通り、ハヤトとムサシは
簡単にくたばる連中じゃねえ」
RYOMA: As far as I’m concerned, Invaders are the enemies I’m meant to defeat. ...And like I said before, HAYATO and MUSASHI won’t kick the bucket so easily.

鉄也
「直近の敵の撃破を優先するということか?」
Tetsuya: In other words, destroying the nearest enemy takes precedence?

リョウマ
「そうだ」
RYOMA: That’s right.

甲児
「………」
Koji: ...

竜馬
「本人がその気なら、いいじゃねえか」
Ryoma: If that’s what he wants, then why not?

隼人
「ああ、全員で岩川市へ向かうぞ」
Hayato: Alright then, all units will proceed to Iwagawa City.

リョウマ
(さっきの流竜馬の言葉…
ゲッターの本当の力を引き出せるかどうか、
この目で確かめてやる…!)
RYOMA: (I’m remembering what Ryoma said earlier... I’ll see if I can bring out the true power of Getter for myself...!)

『三匹が集う!』
Episode 3
Three as One!


(Scene changes to a map screen of Iwagawa City. All units are deployed and Invaders are on the map. All units are surrounding a shelter on the map.)

鋼鉄ジーグ
「ギリギリで間に合ったな。
インベーダー共は、まだシェルターに
辿り着いてねえ」
Steel Jeeg: We made it just in time. The Invaders still haven’t reached the shelter.

鉄也
「だが、本番はこれからだ。
ここを動かず、シェルターを守り切るぞ」
Tetsuya: But here’s where it gets serious. We’ll have to stay where we are and protect the shelter.

甲児
「ああ!」
Koji: Right!

リョウマ
「懲りもせず、また防戦…
攻撃は最大の防御という言葉を知らねえのか」
RYOMA: Fighting defensively again? ...You guys just don’t learn. Haven’t you ever heard the saying “a good offense is the best defense”?

甲児
「防戦の何が悪い?
俺達は、自分が勝つことだけを考えて
戦ってるわけじゃねえんだ」
Koji: What’s wrong with defending? We aren’t fighting just so we can win ourselves.

リョウマ
「それで負けたら、全てを失うだけだ」
RYOMA: That just means that if you lose, you lose everything.

甲児
「わかってねえな。
大事なものを守ることによって
引き出される力があるんだよ」
Koji: You aren’t getting it. There’s a certain power that you can draw out by protecting something precious to you.

リョウマ
「…!」
RYOMA: ...!

竜馬
「甲児の言葉の意味が理解できねえようじゃ、
てめえはそのゲッターの力を引き出せんぜ?」
Ryoma: Do you really think you can bring out that Getter’s power if you can’t even grasp what Koji’s saying?

リョウマ
(う…!)
RYOMA: (Ugh...!)

甲児
「もう一度見せてやるぜ、リョウ!
俺達の、守るための戦いって奴をな!」
Koji: We’ll show you one more time, Ryo! What fighting to protect something is like!

(Battle 1 begins. Only RYOMA is able to move on the map screen. All other units cannot move from their starting position around the shelter.)

(Battle 2 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

弁慶
「…とりあえず、この場にいた
インベーダーは片付いたか」
Benkei: ...Looks like that’s all the Invaders around here taken care of for now.

隼人
「気を抜くな。
連中の狙いの見当は付いた」
Hayato: Stay sharp. I’ve got a pretty good idea what they’re after.

竜馬
「奇遇だな、俺もだ」
Ryoma: Funny, so do I.

リョウマ
(…俺が動いて戦ったからこそ、勝ったんだ。
あいつらだけじゃ、あのシェルターは…)
RYOMA: (...We won because I fought without staying put. If it was just them, then the shelter would have...)

リョウマ
「チッ、無理が祟ったか」
RYOMA: Pfft, fighting like that will just come back to bite them.

(Uzuki detects something.)

美和
「この反応は!!」
Uzuki: This reading is...!!

竜馬
「リョウ!動け!」
Ryoma: Ryo! Move it!

リョウマ
「!?」
RYOMA: !?

童馬
「ちいっ!」
Ryoma: Damn!

(Ryoma moves in front of RYOMA, and is attacked.)

竜馬
「うぐっ!!」
Ryoma: Gaaagh!!

甲児
「今の攻撃は!?」
Koji: What was that attack just now!?

鉄也
「ゲッタービームか!!」
Tetsuya: It was a Getter Beam!!

(Dr. Saotome, Cowen, and Stinger appear piloting a Getter Dragon, and with more Invaders.)

早乙女博士
「フハハハハ!
仲間を庇うとは殊勝よのう、竜馬!」
Dr. Saotome: Mwahahaha! How admirable of you to protect your comrade, Ryoma!

竜馬
「やはり現れやがったか、ジジイ!」
Ryoma: I knew you’d show up, old man!

リョウマ
「あれは!!」
RYOMA: That’s--!!

早乙女博士
「異世界のゲッターロボを
もらい受けに来たぞ!」
Dr. Saotome: We’ve come to take that different dimension Getter Robo for ourselves!


(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off.)


コーウェン
「見えるかい、スティンガー君。
あれこそが別の可能性だよ」
Cowen: Why look at that, Stinger. Another possibility is before us.

スティンガー
「う、うん、見えるよ、コーウェン君。
扉の鍵になり得るね、あのゲッターロボは」
Stinger: Yes, I see it, Cowen. That Getter Robo could be the key to the door.

コーウェン
「故に我らの物にしなきゃならない。
未知の世界へ進出し、さらなる進化を遂げるために!」
Cowen: Therefore, it must belong to us. So that we may take the first steps into an unknown world, and further our evolutionary process!

隼人
「案の定、インベーダーを繰り出して
ゲッターノワールを調べていたか…!」
Hayato: As I suspected, you’ve been sending scores of Invaders after Getter Noir just to investigate it...!

コーウェン
「狙いは真ゲッターではなかったが、
結果的には良かった。そう思うよね、
スティンガー君?」
Cowen: While Shin Getter may not have been what we were aiming for, I can’t say the results of this are altogether undesirable. Wouldn’t you agree, Stinger?

スティンガー
「そ、そうだね。
真ゲッターにダメージを与えられたからね」
Stinger: Yes, quite so. I dare say we’ve done a number on Shin Getter now.

早乙女博士
「竜馬よ!異世界のゲッターロボを渡せば、
今回は生命を助けてやっても良いぞ!」
Dr. Saotome: Ryoma! Hand over the other world Getter Robo to me, and I will allow you to keep your life this time!

竜馬
「うるせえ!
てめえに命乞いするほど、酔狂じゃねえんだ!」
Ryoma: Shut your trap! I’m not so fickle I’d start begging for my life to you of all people!

リョウマ
「早乙女博士…[ゲッターロボ]を作り出した男…
そして…!」
RYOMA: That’s Dr. Saotome... The man that created [Getter Robos]... And...!

竜馬
「リョウ、奴の狙いは俺達だ!
返り討ちにするぞ!」
Ryoma: It’s us he’s after, Ryo! Let’s turn the tables on him!

リョウマ
「あ、ああ!」
RYOMA: R-Right!

隼人
「甲児達はそのままシェルターを守れ!」
Hayato: Koji, you and the others keep guarding the shelter!

甲児
「了解!」
Koji: Roger!

(Battle 2 begins. Ryoma and RYOMA are the only units that can move from their starting position.)

(Battle 2 ends when Dr. Saotome’s HP falls below 40%.)

早乙女博士
「ぬう…!」
Dr. Saotome: Ngh...!

竜馬
「どうした、ジジイ!
威勢がいいのは口だけか!」
Ryoma: What’s wrong, old man!? You’re all bark and no bite!

コーウェン
「だが、いつもの彼らの勢いではないよね、
スティンガー君」
Cowen: But they’re lacking quite a bit of bite themselves, aren’t they, Stinger?

スティンガー
「う、うん。
連戦で疲れているんだね、コーウェン君」
Stinger: Yes. They must be oh so tired after so many back-to-back battles, Cowen.

甲児
「負け惜しみを言うんじゃねえ!」
Koji: How about you stop talking like sore losers, huh!?

早乙女博士
「笑止!勝敗はまだ決しておらんわ!
それに、竜馬!お前ならわかっておろう!
3人のパイロットが搭乗したゲッターの力を!」
Dr. Saotome: Hold your tongue! The outcome of this battle is far from decided! Besides, Ryoma, you know better than anyone the power that comes from 3 pilots within a Getter!

竜馬
「!」
Ryoma: !

早乙女博士
「そして!
初代ゲッターチームの力を
今こそ思い知らせてくれるわ!」
Dr. Saotome: Yes! I believe it’s time we showed you the strength of the first Getter Team!

(Dr. Saotome’s HP fully recovers.)

リョウマ
「何!?」
RYOMA: What!?

(Dr. Saotome moves towards RYOMA.)

早乙女博士
「隙を見せおったな!
くらえ!ゲッタービーム!!」
Dr. Saotome: You’ve left yourself open! Now take this! GETTER BEAM!!

竜馬
「させるか!!」
Ryoma: I don’t think so!!

(Ryoma dashes between RYOMA and Dr. Saotome, taking the hit.)

竜馬
「うぐうっ!!」
Ryoma: Aggghhh!!

リョウマ
「何故だ!?何故、俺を庇う!?」
RYOMA: But why!? Why are you protecting me!?

竜馬
「目の前で『俺』に死なれちゃ、
夢見が悪いからだよ!」
Ryoma: Because seeing “myself” die in front of me is like a nightmare made real!

リョウマ
「!!」
RYOMA: !!

弁慶
(素直にお前を守ると言ってやりゃあいいのに…!)
Benkei: (Why can’t he just be honest and say he wanted to protect him...!?)

甲児
「竜馬さん!!」
Koji: Ryoma!!

竜馬
「来るな!てめえらはシェルターを守れ!!」
Ryoma: Stay back! You guys keep guarding the shelter!

早乙女博士
「フハハハ!
そのダメージでは満足に戦えまい!
どうやって異世界のゲッターを守る!?」
Dr. Saotome: Mwahaha! You won’t be able to fight for much longer with that kind of damage! How will you protect the other world Getter then!?

竜馬
「うるせえ!てめえの首を掻き切るのは、
この身一つで充分だ!」
Ryoma: Shut the hell up! It’ll only take one of us to slit your throat!

リョウマ
「お、俺は…!」
RYOMA: I-I...!

早乙女博士
「ならば、竜馬!
まずはお前から死ぬがいい!!」
Dr. Saotome: Oh is that how it is, Ryoma!? Then you won’t have any complaints about being the first to die!!

リョウマ
「俺は!!」
RYOMA: I--!!

(Dr. Saotome is suddenly attacked.)

早乙女博士
「むうっ!?」
Dr. Saotome: Ngh!?

コーウェン
「上空から!?」
Cowen: From the sky!?

スティンガー
「そ、そうだね、コーウェン君!
奴らが来たよ!」
Stringer: Th-That’s right, Cowen! They’re here!

(HAYATO and MUSASHI appear in Getter Noir Unit-2 and Unit-3.)

鋼鉄ジーグ
「あれは!」
Steel Jeeg: Those are...!

甲児
「ゲッターノワール2号機と3号機か!」
Koji: Getter Noir Unit-2 and Unit-3!

コーウェン
「奴らめ、想定より早く包囲網を突破したな…!」
Cowen: They broke through that encirclement faster than we anticipated...!

スティンガー
「だ、だけど、
これで手間が省けたんじゃないかな、
コーウェン君」
Stinger: So they have, but this will save us some time in the end, won’t it, Stinger?

リョウマ
「ハヤト、ムサシ…!」
RYOMA: HAYATO, MUSASHI...!

ハヤト
「苦戦しているようだな、リョウマ」
HAYATO: Looks like you’re having trouble, RYOMA.

ムサシ
「手が必要なら、貸すぜ?」
MUSASHI: How about it, need a hand?

リョウマ
「ああ!ここで負けるわけにはいかねえんだ!」
RYOMA: Yeah! I can’t afford to go down here!

早乙女博士
「ゲッター1、2、3の改造機が揃ったところで、
このゲッタードラゴンに敵いはせんぞ!
3機まとめて手に入れてやるわ!」
Dr. Saotome: Even with those alternate versions of Getters 1, 2, and 3 here, you are no match for Getter Dragon! We’ll be taking all 3 of those machines!

リョウマ
「3機?違うな!」
RYOMA: 3 machines? That’s where you’re wrong!

早乙女博士
「何!?」
Dr. Saotome: Come again!?

リョウマ
「貴様がさっき言った通り、
3人揃ったゲッターの力を見せてやるぜ!!」
RYOMA: We’ll be taking a page from your book and show YOU the power of 3 people united in a Getter!

ムサシ
「おい、あれをやるのか!?」
MUSASHI: Hang on, you seriously want to try that!?

ハヤト
「これまでの成功確率は…!」
HAYATO: But our success rate so far has been--!

リョウマ
「今の俺なら出来る!
ゲッターの力を信じるんだ!!」
RYOMA: We can do it this time! Believe in the power of Getter!!

(A movie showing Getter Noir changing into Getter Noir G plays.)

RYOMA: CHAAAANGE NOIR G!! SWITCH, ON!!

(RYOMA uses Double Tomahawk Darkness on Dr. Saotome. A battle animation begins.)

リョウマ
「ダブルトマホォォォォクッ!」
RYOMA: DOUBLE TOMAHAAAAWK!

リョウマ
「でえやあっ!」
RYOMA: Deeyaah!

リョウマ
「駄目押しだぁっ!!」
RYOMA: And just to make sure...!!

ハヤト
「やれ、リョウマ!」
HAYATO: Do it, RYOMA!

リョウマ
「ダブルトマホーク!ダークネスッ!」
RYOMA: DOUBLE TOMAHAWK! DARKNESS!

リョウマ
「おおりゃああああっ!!」
RYOMA: OORYAAAAAA!!

早乙女博士
「おおおわあああああっ…!」
Dr. Saotome: Oooowaaaaaagh...!

(The battle animation ends.)

早乙女博士
「フハハハハハ!
素晴らしい、素晴らしいぞ、黒き流人共!」
Dr. Saotome: Mwahahahaha! Magnificent! Absolutely magnificent, black wanderers!

早乙女博士
「その力、必ず我が物に!
ハハハハ!ハーッハッハッハッハッハ!!」
Dr. Saotome: I WILL have that power for myself! Hahahaha! HAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!

(Getter Dragon explodes.)

鋼鉄ジーグ
「やったか!?」
Steel Jeeg: Did they get him!?

竜馬
「さあ、どうだかな…」
Ryoma: Hell if I know...

弁慶
「だが、この場は何とかなったぜ。
リョウも仲間と合流できたしな」
Benkei: Well, if nothing else, we’ve settled things here. And Ryo’s found his friends too.

甲児
「それにしても、
ゲッターノワールが合体するなんて…」
Koji: But wow, they actually combined their Getter Noirs...

鉄也
「あの3機はゲッターロボであり、
ゲットマシンでもあるのか」
Tetsuya: So those 3 mechs are not only Getter Robos in their own right, but also Get Machines.

隼人
「ゲッターノワール1号機の調査で
ある程度予測はついていたがな」
Hayato: We had our suspicions that that might be the case after examining Getter Noir Unit-1.

弁慶
「だったら、先に言えよ」
Benkei: Well then I wish you’d told us that earlier.

隼人
「2号機と3号機を調べ、
確証を得てからと思ってな」
Hayato: We’d have had to investigated Unit-2 and Unit-3 before we could have been certain.

ムサシ
「…やれやれ、合体が上手くいって良かったぜ」
MUSASHI: ...Phew, it’s a damn good thing the combining went off without a hitch.

ハヤト
「リョウマ、動きの粗雑さが多少マシになったな。
何があった?」
HAYATO: RYOMA, you fought a little less rough than you usually do. What happened?

リョウマ
「フッ…話せば長くなるぜ」
RYOMA: Heh... It’s a long story.


(Scene changes to a forest.)


ハヤト
「ここが並行世界だということはわかっていたが、
ブレーンワールドに戻る方法は不明か…」
HAYATO: So we’re certain that this is a parallel world, but we don’t have any means to return to the Braneworld...

リョウマ
「ああ」
RYOMA: Yeah.

隼人
「………」
Hayato: ...

ハヤト
「何だ?自分のクローンが気になるのか?」
HAYATO: What? Feeling uneasy, seeing your own clone?

隼人
「まあな」
Hayato: I guess.

竜馬
「俺の気持ちがわかったか、隼人」
Ryoma: Now you know how I feel, Hayato.

隼人
「ああ、確かに妙な感じだ」
Hayato: Yes, it’s certainly odd.

ムサシ
「こっちの男は何だ?
さっきから俺を見つめているが」
MUSASHI: And what’s the deal with this guy here? He’s been staring at me for a while now.

弁慶
「いや、まあ…懐かしい気持ちになってな」
Benkei: Oh, sorry, it’s just... I’m feeling a little nostalgic.

鉄也
(車少佐は、巴少佐の後輩だからな…)
Tetsuya: (Major Kuruma is Major Tomoe’s junior, after all...)

甲児
「…なあ、リョウ。
その…色々と悪かったな。
それに、お前のおかげで…」
Koji: ...Hey, Ryo. Uh... Sorry about all the stuff from before. I mean, it’s thanks to you that...

リョウマ
「謝罪も礼も必要ない。
お前達は守るべきものを守り、
俺達は倒すべき敵を倒しただけだ」
RYOMA: There’s no reason to say sorry or say thanks. You guys defended what you were supposed to defend, and we defeated the enemy we were supposed to defeat.

Ryoma: ...

隼人
「ハヤト、ムサシ。
ブレーンワールドへの帰還方法が見つかるまで、
俺達がお前達を保護する」
Hayato: HAYATO, MUSASHI. We’ll put you under our protection until we can find a way to return you to your Braneworld.

ハヤト
「フッ…まるで珍獣扱いだな」
HAYATO: Heh... It’s like we’re endangered animals.

ムサシ
「だが、あてもなくこの世界を彷徨うよりマシだ」
MUSASHI: But it’s still better than roaming this world aimlessly.

隼人
「それに、
お前達は早乙女博士の標的でもあるからな」
Hayato: Not to mention, every single one of you are now targets for Dr. Saotome.

リョウマ
「…ブレーンワールドへ帰るまでの間、
インベーダーを含めたお前達の敵との
戦いに手を貸す」
RYOMA: ...Then until we can return to the Braneworld, we’ll help you fight the Invaders, as well as your other enemies.

隼人
「ほう」
Hayato: Oh?

「前にも言ったが、どういう風の吹き回しだ?」
Hiroshi: Once again I have to ask; what’s with the change of heart?

ムサシ
「勝手に決めるな、リョウマ」
MUSASHI: You can’t just decide this on your own, RYOMA.

ハヤト
「その通りだ。彼らに協力する必要は…」
HAYATO: He’s right. There’s no reason for us to cooperate with--

リョウマ
「ある。少なくとも俺にとってはな。
お前らにもいずれわかるだろう」
RYOMA: There is. At least for me. You guys will figure it out eventually too.

竜馬
「言うじゃねえか。
何で手を貸す気になった?」
Ryoma: That’s sure nice of you. So what makes you want to help us out?

リョウマ
「お前が言った通り、
『俺』に目の前で死なれたら、夢見が悪いからな」
