- Book Items

Books hold knowledge, and knowledge is power! Books are Items that can be used during Extended Actions to Bind your AP to receive certain benefits. In the right hands, Books are incredibly powerful! Some Books may even grant temporary access to some Features, but please note that Features accessed this way never serve as prerequisties.

(not sure yet on exact mechanics; bind 1 AP per "rank" of benefit you wish to gain? You must bind all lower ranks to gain a higher rank?

Unlike most bound AP, AP bound to books does not become available immediately when it is unbound, acting instead as if it was "spent". )

First Aid Manual
Description: Bluh
- Novice Medicine Edu: You gain a +10 Bonus to Medicine Education Checks made to use a First Aid Kit.
- Expert Medicine Edu: The first two times each day that you use a First Aid Kit, you do not Drain any AP.

Spooky Book
Description: Bluh

Type Study Manual
Description: These Books focus on one particular Pokemon Type.
- Novice Pokemon Edu: You gain a -10 Bonus on Capture Checks against the studied Type.
- Expert Pokemon Edu: Once per day when you apply Experience Training, you may choose to give one of your Pokemon of the studied Type +10 Bonus Experience. The same Pokemon cannot be chosen two days in a row.




- Bookworm Class

Bookworm
Prerequisites:

Effect: You gain X Study Points, where 2 plus one more for every other Bookworm Feature you have. You may Bind Study Points to benefit from studying Books, instead of Binding your Action Points.

Well Read
Prerequisites:
Static
Effect: You may use your General Education Rank to qualify for Books, instead of the Book's usual Skill Prerequisites, provided you have the normal Prerequisite at at least Novice Rank.

Memorize

Prerequisites:
One Time Use - Extended Action
Effect: You may memorize a Book for which you have had all of the book's available Ranks memorized for at least three days. You gain the benefits of Memorized Books permanently, even without binding AP or Study Points. If the Book has more than two Ranks that provide benefit, you must select only two Rank benefits to permanently memorize. If a Memorized Effect grants use of a Feature, this is the same as having gained that Feature, and you may now use it to meet prerequisites.
