  15. Owls and a Fool Chapter II Part XIV
  16.
  17. >Not only was the Imp holding a hostage
  18. >The hostage was a cub
  19. >Just like the ones in the alleyway
  20. >”Hehe- HAHAHA! YOU DON’T WANNA GET THIS LIL’ ONE INVOLVED, DO YA?”
  21. >...
  22. >That’s the final fking straw
  23. >”Heh, what’s that- that STICK going to do? You really think you can save this stupid-”
  24. >”Zaštiti me.”
  25. >The edge-spear nearly blinds the crowd as it combusts with a rush of angelic energy
  26. >Its true power had been revealed through the presence of white fire burning on the seraphim steel
  27. >A low bass hangs through the air as the Imp takes a good look at the sinner in front of him
  28. >The young man had an aura not of a laid back, humble teenager
  29. >But an aura of dread, rage, and hopelessness creating a bringer of holy terror
  30. >Anon could feel the energy influencing him
  31. >Seeping into his very essence as he clenched the hilt with righteous animosity
  32. >Step
  33. >Step, step
  34. >The Imp had dropped his weapons and fell to the floor, unable to look back from the one before him as he tries to crawl away
  35. >He’s helpless to do anything but hyperventilate
  36. >It proves its futility as Anon etches ever closer
  37. >The sinner finally stops, taking one moment to stare into the victim’s eyes with contempt, disgust
  38. >”...Wait, Please I-”
  39. >”HRRK!”
  40. >With one hand, Anon grasps the Imp’s neck and brings him up to his height, holding his disgusted expression and clenching onto his weapon even tighter
  41. >He gravely walks to the Hellhound with no changes in his demeanor
  42. >Until he stops, expression becoming melancholic and dropping the Imp to the floor as the energy goes away
  43. >”Gratias tibi…”
  44. >”Oof!”
  45. >”Take your Hellhound and get out of my sight.”
  46. >”And if either of you come here again…”
  47. >Anon kneels, staring into the Imp’s core
  48. >”I’ll gouge your pairs of eyes out and feed them to my plant.”
  49. >The Imp hastily drags his friend out the door, with Anon breathing deeply as his senses finally return to normal
  50. -

  52.
  53. >Anon couldn’t breathe
  54. >He felt like his lungs were bound to collapse
  55. >It takes a few blinks for him to notice the black spots in his vision
  56. >...The cub!
  57. >Okay, deep breath
  58. >He approaches the cub in a way he hoped wasn’t suspicious
  59. >Where the fk are this kid’s parents?
  60. >”Hey...”
  61. >With a yelp she darts out the building, tail between her legs in terror
  62. >...
  63. >”God damn it…”
  64. >Anon runs his hands through his hair, piercing his scalp almost to the point of bleeding as the stress only builds
  65. >The tinnitus-ridden silence cracks through light hoofsteps coming down
  66. >Followed by a slow, shaky breath
  67. >It was Gale
  68. >”...kid-”
  69. >Anon whips around in a terrorizing flash
  70. >”F̸̝̹͍̞̙̗̋̍Ṵ̷̥̮̈̾̉̄̔͐C̴̢̹͙̥͍͑̓̔̎͝Ḱ̸̡̛͉̰̖̓̈́͐̎̚͜ ̵̖̥̺̠̋̍̆̔̓̔͘͜ͅO̷͙͓̤̒͗͒F̴̠̰̣͌̌̓̿͝F̴͔͕̹͎̍̍̌̂.̴̡̟̟͔̯̥̊̃̕͠
  71. >...
  72. >Gale can only stare, unable to comprehend what’s in front of him right now
  73. >Anon’s senses immediately return
  74. >Whispers, stares, tense muscles, stillness
  75. >That’s all that surrounded him
  76. >He was like a deer in headlights
  77. >He wanted to run
  78. >To flee
  79. >To escape those judging expressions
  80. >”No, I…”
  81. >The tension simply becomes too much
  82. >Anon darts out the door, leaving him with another night to reflect on his mounting regrets
  83.
  84. And that's Chapter II finally done. More soon (and hopefully not in over a week haha).

  87.
  88. >2:45 AM…
  89. >What does it matter?
  90. >A distraught Anonymous Goetia sits in a fetal position against the barred railing on the balcony outside his room
  91. >The light rain couldn’t hope to move him; He was a statue
  92. >Many expressions filled his eyes
  93. >Dread, confusion, rage
  94. >Distracting himself with ludicrously spicy peppers wasn’t helping either
  95. >He couldn’t sleep, nor could he jump out of his downward spiral
  96. >He didn’t even bother to swap out of his outfit
  97. >Nothing was making sense
  98. >Literally the first day he tries to do something good for the family
  99. >It’s run into the ground by whatever hallucination clouded him at the taxidermy shop
  100. >And now he’s getting into MORE fights as well as feeling random spikes in emotion?
  101. >Perfect
  102. >”Fking…”
  103. >”Wonderful-”
  104. >Anon stifles a sob as he pulls himself in even closer, begging for some form of fatigue to overtake him
  105. >Unbeknownst to him, however
  106. >Was a saddened Octavia observing him from a short distance in his dark room
  107. >She can only stare in empathy and sorrow at her brother, lost in the sheer idea of his anguish
  108. >And can’t help whispering to herself
  109. >”Please don’t cry…”
  110. >”I know what you tried to do for me today.”
  111. >”
  112. >Her eye catches the lone radio he has set by his bed
  113. >Tiptoeing over to it, she holds a lone claw over the power button...
  114. >And silently switches it on
  115. >”And that is all…”
  116. >Anon’s head darts to the room in surprise
  117. >Only to find no one there
  118. >”That love’s about.”
  119. >”And we’ll recall…”
  120. >”When time runs out...”
  121. >All despair seems to melt away at the duet
  122. >”That it only…”
  123. >”Took a moment…”
  124. >And then there was peace
  125. >”To be loved…”
  126. >”Our whole…”
  127. >Then clarity
  128. >”Life…”
  129. >And finally, blissful sleep
  130. >"Long..."

  132. Owls and a Fool Chapter III Part II
  133.
  134. >”KKH!”
  135. >Anon jolts awake in his bed, shocked by the lack of cold rain on his body
  136. >He was… in his bed?
  137. >He stands up, still trying to regain full consciousness
  138. >OH SATAN THAT F-KING SMELL
  139. >A horrific stench fills the air, forcing Anon to vomit on sheer instinct
  140. >It was almost like his guts were poured into that
  141. >Wait
  142. >They were his guts?!
  143. >He blinks rapidly to clear his vision, hoping to the lord below he was okay
  144. >It vanished as quickly as it came
  145. >’I threw up just 10 seconds ago…’
  146. >The continuous stench almost forces him to dry heave again
  147. >Just where the hell was it coming from?
  148. >Anon rushes out of his room and looks to his side
  149. >Only to see gallons of blood running down the walls
  150. >”I-”
  151. >His adrenaline goes into absolute overdrive, demanding he run
  152. >”Mom? Dad? Ock?!”
  153. >He sprints into the next hallway, revealing rusted swinging chains and a seizure-inducing blue strobe light
  154. >This isn’t right, none of it was! Where the f-k was anyone?!
  155. >Anon looks back in hopes of finding another way out of this hellhole
  156. >Yet only a pitch black wall watches his back now
  157. >...Nowhere to go but forward
  158. >Just go forward, damn it
  159. >MOVE
  160. >Very slowly, Anon treks through the seemingly endless liminal hallway
  161. >With only a stench of death, swinging rusty chains, and a strobe light piercing the pitch black room
  162. >And there seems to be no end in sight
  163. -
  164. Owls and a Fool Chapter III Part III
  165.
  166. >...
  167. >”Get me out, get me out, get me out.”
  168. >Anon’s body turns to ice as every part of him feels frozen cold, fruitlessly muttering to himself
  169. >He shakes as more stress piles on
  170. >It wasn’t helping that the flashes of darkness held bloodshot pairs of eyes surrounding him
  171. >The f-king stares
  172. >There they were, judging him, witnessing his fear
  173. >RUN
  174. >Anon runs down the hall, disregarding any hanging chains in his way
  175. >Within each intermittence of light, he could feel their gaze etching closer and closer
  176. >GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT
  177. >”aaAAAAAH!”
  178. >He bursts down a door with a shoulder charge, a small moment’s relief washing over him
  179. >But it wouldn’t last for long
  180. >”Wasn’t expecting you of all people to be up this early.”
  181. >Anon brings his head up to see Octavia, dressed in a purple and white dress soaked in blood
  182. >With his body disemboweled on the table
  183. >Why is she getting closer-
  184. >”Come on, come on! Can’t let this get cold.”
  185. >Octavia holds Anon’s hand and practically drags him over to the bloodstained wooden table
  186. >There were way too many things wrong with her
  187. >She never wears any sort of real royal wear unless absolutely necessary, for one
  188. >She doesn’t make too much physical contact with him
  189. >And she is almost NEVER this joyful
  190. >”You like eyes, right?”
  191. >”Wh-”
  192. >Octavia violently plunges a kitchen knife into the center of the body’s head with a vitreous, psychotic grin and begins to cut down the left side
  193. >A gush of blood splashes both of them
  194. >Just as it happens, a violent headache racks Anon’s head at the point of impact
  195. >Yet he couldn’t find it within himself to scream for help
