  1. Yuuto knows how to plan things ahead of time, but isn’t hindered by decisions that have to be made on the spot. The fencer is very aware of his mistakes and flaws, owning up to them no matter what - so much so that it gets unnecessarily extreme in occasion. Nevertheless, he at some extent, dislikes being a leader, because he doesn’t think he’s deserving of it, due to his “sin of long ago”.
  2.
  3. His own code makes him able to repays his favors and debts whenever he can, feeling extremely guilty if he never returns it.
  4.
  5. A natural optimistic, a boy who sees the good side in everyone (aside from himself, in certain times) and generally everything, or at least tries. He wants the good for his peers as well, making his intentions reflect on his cause. Yuuto plays the role of a hero during the night along with his teammates. The fencer protects assault victims and seeks to defend those in need. He protects his identity by always wearing his mask.
  6.
  7. He’s easy to trust people, and if that person has ill intentions, he can be manipulated and play right into their hands. Generally, as a believer that fencing should never be used to bad reasons, Yuuto may try to do minimize damage that could come from his decisions, but if he’s made to believe there’s only one way - and that hurting people, he will, unfortunately, proceed with that. His desire to always stand up for his friends won’t let him suspect of the person.
  8.
  9. Regarding his tendency to confide in people, he’ll be severely damaged by someone who breaks his trust. All the disappointment, the way he always end up blaming himself for it, his regret spiral into utmost sorrow that incapacitates him for a long time. It’s possible for him to recover, but he can’t do it alone, needing help from his peers.
  10.
  11. He’s willing to defend the value of friends and people who, no matter what, you can count on. What can get obnoxious, is how often he calls people “My [good] friend” or “Comrade”.
  12.
  13. Although most of the times he has a confident smile on his face, there will be times when he can’t ignore his past regrets; when everything is omitted by his self-deprecation and he can’t stop mumbling about his “sin of long ago”, how he still hasn’t repaid his debt. There have been many times where he remembered it and entered a deep stage of sadness. It’s kind of hard to get him out of it.
  14.
  15. He’s a strong believer of karma, but he won’t use it against the others; instead, he uses it to lecture people on what they should do, for the greater good, as if all world’s actions were controlled by one single principle/force.
  16.
  17. Most of the money gained from the sponsorship goes directly into training his fencing skills, while the rest he uses to help his adoptive mother. Not being materialistic.
  18.
  19. A specific side of his personality would be that he’s very proud of his skills as a fencer, as he has spent much time and sweat over it, thus he won’t tolerate anyone looking down upon it. His way of demonstrating his abilities would be, by default, showing off at any occasion to get that person to change their opinion. On the other side of the coin, he’s always willing to train someone in case an interest in fencing surfaces.
  20.
  21. He’s known for not giving much importance to other people’s confidential matters, spilling it out if he deems it as relevant at the time. It’s an unconscious response to him aggrandizing his own secret.
