  11. A brown-haired, mild mannered, idealistic, and honestly all around positive girl from one of the other classes in the Academy, and a close friend of [PROTAG] despite being from different classes. However, underneath all her positive vibes and hopeful atmosphere is a girl that finds herself full of anxiety towards the future, guilt from feelings of worthlessness compared to her much more successful best friend, and fear of the world around her that clashes with how badly she wants to help other people, and harsh experiences dealing with home issues - a slowly growing ball of stress disguised as a mild mannered girl, all so that she can continue to show her friends a positive face, afraid of letting them down and letting her own uncertainty over the future ruin their own prospects and aspirations. A girl whose future is uncertain, and whose fortunes seem to rapidly sour, leaving her afraid and lost in a world that she just doesn't seem to be able to get used to, even after these three years...

  13. As you can most likely tell by now, Azumi is an overall friendly and kind girl, and overall it'd be very hard to ever catch her acting cruel or rude to another person, as she seems especially concerned with making sure not to hurt the feelings of others. She chose to pursue the Paladin class three years ago entirely because she imagined herself one day going on to help protect people from criminals, monsters, and powermads, believing that ever since the System came into being that we humans are obligated to protect and care for each other, instead of using the power given to us for selfish ends. She holds a special distaste for those who think that they are free to do whatever they want with their power. However, underneath all her positivity and claims that she will one day help protect people all over the world, she is deeply insecure about her skills and level, especially how she's still in the low 100s this long after the event, with most of her peers, including [PROTAG] herself are in the uppers 100s instead, especially after getting LVL drained in Nossu's attack on the school. This is tied to her overall impostor syndrome, as she severely doubts herself in almost every aspect - be it schoolwork, leveling, and even her relationship with her friends, especially [PROTAG], who, being her upperclassman, she feels a need to impress and severe anxiety as to what she believes [PROTAG] thinks of her, often torturing herself with worries about what she'd think of her worst showings. Despite her anxiety over her level, she still deeply values it and sees it as a result of her hard work, even if she could do better, and feels horribly violated and traumatized after Nossu drains some of her levels during her attack on the school late into Act 1. This experience worsens her mood regarding levels even more than before, and she begins working herself to death to try and get it back to what it was as soon as possible - which she does end up doing to a degree, given she eventually levels to 112 after being drained to 73 - but leaves herself horribly drained of stamina as a result, and it's clear the experience isn't healthy for her in the least, instead being quite destructive, especially as nobody was really pressuring her to work so hard. Despite all these problems, she refuses to listen to her friends when they try and convince her that she doesn't have to work so hard and that they care about her regardless of her level or success compared to them, most likely due to her impostor syndrome making her see these consolations as further damning of her future. She feels a deep need to impress [PROTAG] due to how much she looks up to her, and often is flung into a deep depression whenever she believes she's let [PROTAG] down, and due to her anxious personality she often believes that [PROTAG] is upset by such occasions, rather than being genuinely forgiving. In general, she believes that other people aren't really forgiving in general, but just don't want to hurt her feelings whenever she screws up. Who knows what would happen if something truly bad happened to her...
