- Bill (M, age 69):
- Bill wanted to be able to type in a city, because he doesn’t know that many airport codes.
- He was confused by what the starting airports were. He wasn’t clear that he was meeting someone else in a common destination.
- Once he understood it, he loved the idea and said he would use it if it existed to meet up with his sister.
- He tried to enter airport codes in lower case and they failed; only works in upper case (fixed already).
- Grace (F, age 32):
- Grace used the app on an iPhone 5 and wasn’t sure the results were showing up (they showed up with a scroll).
- She said it was easy to use and she understood that she would use this app to meet someone and try and time their flights.
- She said she would definitely use this app to meet up with her friends from back east.
- She wants to have a share button to email it to a friend.
- Hilary (F, age 30, UX designer):
- Hilary says the page could be made more clear as to what it is people are using the site for. Maybe a blurb about why they need MeetMe.
- She thinks I should separate some of the content to not give the user cognitive overload, increase whitespace.
- She thinks the inputs should be larger for users who have trouble seeing smaller fonts.
- She was looking at it with a critical UX eye, but she said overall she loved the functionality and did not encounter any bugs.
- Based on feedback received:
- I plan to add social media icons, a blurb about the site that makes it clear, and make sure it is mobile friendly.
