- For the last many years, Hyrule has known peace.
- But for the last year, the great King of the Gerudo in the desert to the west has been slipping into madness. The ancient curse that holds the men of the tribe has taken hold, seeping into his actions. He has withdrawn, not preforming his yearly visit to Hyrule Castle to discuss any changes needed to the trade routes. Hiding in his fortress, he let himself dwell on imagined slights against him.

- But after he awoke the beast, the Chaotic monster stole his madness away, letting his eyes truly see for the first time in a year, how wrong his actions had been, and what he had unleashed. The Chaos beast vanished into the Hylian wilds, and he set out to stop it.
