>you're out camping with fluffy pony
>you slept in a tent, had a campfire, made s'mores
>then you had to spend at least two hours getting the marshmallow out of her fluff
>but she seems so happy, which makes your heart melt
>go hiking the next day
>you start racing
>fluffy pony reaches her maximum speed of five miles per hour. going downhill. with the wind.
>you can keep up easily, but you let her get ahead
>she looks back at you, giggling and gloating
>she doesnt see the small hole in front of her
>her leg goes in
>her momentum carries her through
>you hear her leg snap
>she screams instantly
>you drag her leg out of the hole
>it causes her so much pain
>you can tell the bone completely snapped
>there's nothing you can do
>even if you brought her back to the city, in pain, to a vet, all they would do is put her down, it'd be much more cheaper
>a broken leg is a broken leg
>you hold her close to your chest
>you tell her it's going to be okay
>you take off your bandana and tie it around her eyes
>your hands are shaking
>you take out your pocket knife
>it's dull
>it wouldnt do anything
>thinking on your feet, you take off your belt, and strap it around her neck
>you have to do this. it's for her own good
>"shh... shh..."
>you feel tears forming in your eyes
>you tell her you've always loved her
>you put your foot down on her back, careful to avoid her broken leg
>you grab the belt
>you yank upwards
>she starts flailing under you, trying to escape
>she instinctively moves all her legs, even the broken one
>she screams
>you hold the belt tight until she stops moving
