  21. Class Skills:
  22. Independent Action: A
  23. It is possible to take action even without a Master's. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. At Rank A, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a week without a Master. Archer was a Sniper, an infamous one at that who was said to walk into the battlefield alone and return alone, having painted the snow red with the blood of his enemies, with just rifle and himself. His legend was born on the basis of being a deadly lone combatant, he was not just a skilled sniper but also extremely skilled at ambushes with his SMG, killing dozens of unsuspecting sleeping Soviets in the Trenches this way.
  24.
  25. Magic Resistance: N/A
  26. Because he is a modern Heroic Spirit, he has no resistance to magic.
  27.
  28. Personal Skills:
  29. The White Death: A
  30. A crystallization of his legendary sniping prowess, this skill provides him Clairvoyance at a rank of C, and Marksmanship of the rank A. He was known for his unerring shots upon the Russian infantry, having managed five kills a day during only a few hours of daylight, which is the highest known kill count of any sniper in any recorded war. Simo can see through almost anything, being capable of detecting hidden and invisible enemies, even behind buildings as if they were standing in an open field.
  31.
  32. Presence Concealment: B+
  33. Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. The rank of Presence Concealment drops when preparing to attack. While usually a rank of A it has dropped a rank due to his class. However, due to his history of Infiltration behind enemy lines in order to drop ambushes on them and even sniping them from behind their own lines, the skill has remained to some degree. Gains a Bonus when in Environments that can be considered 'Artic' or 'Winter' like.
  34.
  35. Eye of the Mind (True): C
  36. In Archer's case, it is because of his deadly aim, even without a scope being able to shoot at ranges thought physically impossible of a human being, all while being shot at and even in conditions such as being shot at by artillery, he remained calm and coolheaded through it all, never losing his focus, also benefits his abilities of Infiltration behind enemy lines.
  37.
  38. Noble Phantasm:
  39. Name: Valkoinen Kuolema
  40. Title: A Tale of a Sniper is Born
  41. Rank: B
  42. NP Type: Anti-Unit
  43. Range: 4~60
  44. Maximum Number of Targets: 1
  45.
  46. Archer lacks a 'weapon' or 'projectile' weapon that can be considered a Noble Phantasm or even magical in nature rather what Archer had was unnatural and inhumane skills in Marksmanship and Hunting, comparable to that of the Archer's from ages-old, his feats were not something that could be accomplished through normal means, enough that it sparked legends of him being some form of physical manifestation of death or a spiritual 'Protector of Finland' plenty of Propaganda was made by the Finnish propping him as something more than Human.
  47.
  48. This Noble Phantasm is a technique so to speak, a perfected one over the course of the 'Winter War' where Archer merely fires a shot from his 'rifle' and the 'shot' itself 'shall' kill the enemy it is a 'killing technique' so to speak where the shot itself is a formality used to activate the Noble Phantasm, the shot is predetermined from the get-go to be a 'Killing Shot' that will kill its enemy, should it hit the 'target' regardless of where it hits the 'target', however, this 'death' only applies if the shot itself physically hits the target, simply blocking or dodging the shot itself is a viable strategy.
  49.
  50. Should the 'shot' hit the 'target' it ignores all 'defenses' 'barriers' or potential immunity. and will apply 'Death' to the target a true 'Killing Technique'.
  51.
  52. Lore:
  53. Häyhä was born in the municipality of Rautjärvi in the Grand Duchy of Finland, in present-day southern Finland near the border with Russia, and started his military service in 1925. He was the second youngest of a Lutheran heritage family of farmers of eight children. Before entering combat, Häyhä was a farmer and hunter. At the age of 20, he joined the Finnish voluntary militia White Guard and was also successful in shooting sports in competitions in the Viipuri Province. His home was reportedly full of trophies for marksmanship.
  54.
  55. During the 1939–40 Winter War between Finland and the Soviet Union, Häyhä served as a sniper for the Finnish Army against the Red Army in the 6th Company of JR 34 during the Battle of Kollaa in temperatures between −40 °C (−40 °F) and −20 °C (−4 °F), dressed completely in white camouflage. Because of Joseph Stalin’s purges of military experts in the late 1930s, the Red Army was highly disorganized and Soviet troops were not issued with white camouflage suits for most of the war, making them easily visible to snipers in winter conditions.
  56.
  57. According to Western sources, Simo Häyhä has been credited with 505 confirmed sniper kills. A daily account of the kills at Kollaa was made for the Finnish snipers. All of Häyhä's kills were accomplished in fewer than 100 days – an average of just over five per day – at a time of year with very few daylight hours. This would make Simo Häyhä the world's deadliest marksman and sniper, even the modern era it is a feat yet to be matched. However, Simo Häyhä's result is impossible to check, because his targets were always on the Russian side. During the war, the "White Death" is one of the leading themes of Finnish propaganda. The Finnish newspapers frequently featured the invisible Finnish soldier, thus creating a heroic myth.
  58.
  59. Häyhä used his issued Civil Guard rifle, an early series SAKO M/28-30 (Civil Guard district number S60974). The rifle was a Finnish White Guard militia variant of the Mosin–Nagant rifle, known as "Pystykorva" chambered in the Finnish Mosin–Nagant cartridge 7.62×54R. He preferred iron sights over telescopic sights as to present a smaller target for the enemy, to increase accuracy, and to aid in concealment. As well as these tactics, he frequently packed dense mounds of snow in front of his position to conceal himself, provide padding for his rifle and reduce the characteristic puff of snow stirred up by the muzzle blast. He was also known to keep snow in his mouth whilst sniping, to prevent steamy breaths giving away his position in the cold air.
  60.
  61. In their efforts to kill Häyhä, the Soviets used counter-snipers and artillery strikes, and on 6 March 1940, Häyhä was hit in his lower left jaw by an explosive bullet fired by a Red Army soldier. He was picked up by fellow soldiers who said "half his face was missing", but he did not die, regaining consciousness on the 13th of March, the day peace was declared. Shortly after the war, Häyhä was promoted from alikersantti (Corporal) to vänrikki (Second lieutenant) by Finnish Field Marshal Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim.
  62.
  63. It took several years for Häyhä to recuperate from his wound. The bullet had crushed his jaw and blown off his left cheek. Nonetheless, he made a full recovery and became a successful moose hunter and dog breeder after World War II. Simo Häyhä spent his last years in Ruokolahti, a small municipality located in southeastern Finland, near the Russian border. Simo Häyhä died in a war veterans' nursing home in Hamina at the age of 96, and was buried in Ruokolahti.
  64.
  65. Personality:
  66. Simo's primarily demeanor is that of a taciturn, silent soldier who served his country with the utmost faith. he displays a high amount of respect to those in positions of power and, while not silent enough to be considered a mute, is the kind of man who prefers not to waste words. He refers to his Master as his "Commander", rather than the traditional word, and will usually not act unless an order is given. This, of course, does not apply if giving an order is impossible for the Master or if he must act quickly.
  67.
  68. Simo prefers to be on the battlefield and is beside herself during peaceful downtime, usually going back to his lifetime hobby of hunting and shooting competitions when he is forced to engage in peacetime. He can be found constantly visiting circus and carnivals to find the shooting games, and hunting his own food for both him and his Master even if the latter may not appreciate it as much.
  69.
  70. He has a habit of mixing Finnish into his usual speech, and is not an exceptionally cold individual despite his usually monotone voice and blank expression. He has a sense of humor, claiming that at one point during his life he and his unit tied up and blindfolded a captured Russian soldier, then brought him to a large city in which they drank, partied, and then released him.
  71.
  72. Simo is a Deadpan Snarker and can't help but tease around with his comrades the same way he had with his unit during his life. Unlike other soldiers, Simo does not appear to suffer from any form of lasting PTSD, having grown used to seeing his enemies' heads pop like watermelons . This effect was lessened due to Simo relying on the iron sights of his rifle, thus not viewing the demise of his foes through a scope.
  73.
  74. Like other Servants, Simo has a wish for the Holy Grail. Simo's wish is to gain revenge on the soldier who shot him and took him out of commission for they were the only one to injure him during his prestigious record. Beyond that he has no regrets over his life. This Wish in of itself is rather flimsy and just seems like an excuse rather than the truth.
