1 - humans from equestria arrive on earth, they are not received all that well. The majority of them came to earth on what becomes Europe, while the Noels constructed their own portal that

2 to 857 - equestrian humans are met with mixed results. Some are decimated, others are accepted. One uses his magic as an entertainer. His name was Jeff, though people called him Jesus.

1700's - equestrian humans are eradicated in the witch hunts that took place during this time period. Noels escape their doom

1800's to 1920 - Noels all come together to organize themselves, and establish themselves as a matriarchal family. The first Winters comes into history.... but from where?

1937 - the Winters manage to keep gaining profits and become a powerful family.

1954 - the Noels purchase a gun manufacturer that eventually gets a military contract which continues to today

1964 the Winters get some family into the government

1965 - the Winters use their connections to establish a secret paramilitary group, Nocturne

1968 - the true history is discovered by a member of the Winters family who was friends with one of the Noels. They decide that this history should be kept secret, and vow to keep a close eye on the Noels, so as to protect them.

1969 - John Hughes, Maria Noel, and Judy Shores are born

1987 - John Hughes finishes college with a bachelor's degree in physics, and is almost immediately employed by a recently established astrophysics lab

1988 John and Maria get married, Maria keeps her last name; they move into her house... In west Virginia...

January 1993 - Alena is conceived

March 1993 - John and Maria have a fight; John goes out to cool off and ends up in a bar, where he meets Judy Shores. They have a one night stand. Serenity/Placidia is conceived

May to August 1994 - Alena and Serenity are born. Judy moves because there's a better school for Serenity where she wants to move, and ends up neighbors with Maria and John. Judy and John pretend that one night never happened and become good friends.

1995 - John's lab develops an experimental sensor that can pick up previously unidentifiable energies. For shits and giggles, he brings it home... It picks something up, but he cannot find out what. Eventually the team manages to figure out that it is thaumic energy coming from a rip in space. John talks about it with Maria, and they call an emergency family meeting with the Noels. The Noels explain everything to the pair, and are sworn to secrecy

1996 - Alena demonstrates the ability to use magic. It is decided that she is to be home schooled until she can keep her abilities under control. She enters the public education system in middle school, where she meets Serenity
