She's the only child of a successful businessman and his wife that was a rising supermodel. Being the child of two very wealthy parents, naturally Dahyun lived a life or luxury at a very young age, everyday getting showered with gifts and new toys. Despite all this she never got to spend time with her parents since they both where too busy with their own lives. Dahyun had lived in her parents mansion in Gangnam up until she started middle school where it all took a drastic change.

It was the dead of night when she felt someone pick her up and carry her from her bed. She woke up screaming, terrified that she was getting kidnapped but only to hear the voice of her maid telling her it was all going to be fine. The figure carrying her had pushed her in the backseat of a taxi and slammed the door. Dahyun was sobbing as she watched her home disappear as the taxi drove on. She woke up in the backseat of the taxi and slowly got up to look out the window, revealing the endless green hills and vegetable fields in the distance. Not long later the vehicle made an abrupt stop win front of a modest house where an elderly woman who she didn't recognize waited to greet them. The old lady later explained that she was her grandmother and that she was brought there because er parents where overseas and there wasn't anyone to look after her. Dahyun believed that.

Her middle school and high school years was spent together with her grandmother in the countryside, where she attended the local schools and was exposed to all these new things. She got teased for having a 'city' accent but then learned to adapt to her surroundings, making friends quite easily since most of the people there where very honest. Her grandmother was the mother she never had and it broke her heart to move back to Seoul to attend college on a scholarship. Dahyun never questioned when her parents would come back from their trip or why they didn't send any money when at times they had struggled with financial issues. Just before she left, her grandmother handed her an envelope and told her to only open it when she had arrived at her new apartment in Seoul.

She had arrived at the apartment on the same day and did what she was told. The contents of the envelope revealed a note and some newspaper clippings, where it revealed the truth. Im Tae-won and his wife Im Jihyo was caught in a scandal where they had scammed billions off other large scale businesses and drove countless other smaller companies to bankruptcy. Their daughter was put in the care of an unknown relative while the couple was serving time in jail. There where also speculations that Im Tae-won had been involved in underground matters involving street gangs.

That night she crumpled the envelope and thew it in the garbage, wanting to forget it. She was determined to lead her own life the past didn't matter and no one would suspect a thing.


personality:

Independent- She's fiercely independent and doesn't need anyone to protect her. She isn't the type to ask for help in any situation and prefers to solve it herself, no matter how big the problem is. Her stubborn attitude of hers often leads her to overwork herself, ambitiously working part time jobs to earn an income for herself and to send to her grandmother. Despite this she's a hard-worker and doesn't depend on anyone for anything. Even if it'll cost her own life.

Somewhat skeptical- Dahyun doesn't trust people easily and it takes a while to get close to her, but that won't stop her from being a friendly  or kind person. She has a hard time accepting compliments or praises, mainly because she doesn't believe them or chooses not to believe them. But behind this she is actually quite an innocent and naive person.

Introverted- Between going to a party or staying in alone at home, Dahyun would much rather pick the second choice. An approachable introvert is a way to describe her. She has no problem holding a conversation with someone but she'd much rather be in peace. She secretly wishes for a little spice in life, wanting to experience the adrenaline rush through her veins and feel the wind in her hair.

Charming- There's something special about her that draws people in, whether it is her blunt yet intelligent way of talking or because of her cute smile. She has a way of drawing people in with her sweet personality, even if she likes it or not. She has an aura of comfort surrounding her and is quite a sap for sob stories and can be quite affectionate, even if she doesn't enjoy skinship.

how did you meet:

They met ‘unofficially’ for the first time when she looked out the window from the bookstore she worked at one weekend and started to notice a guy hanging around outside sitting on a nearby bench. At first Dahyun didn’t think much of it, since he wasn’t doing anything suspicious or anything. His fashion choice wasn’t what she would call modest but she got it, it was the city and people sometimes dressed flashily for no reason. She just wasn’t used to seeing people wear gold chains, a red velvet jacket and thick black sunglasses on the streets normally.

Dahyun started to get weary when instead of every other weekend like before she started seeing him /every/ weekend. She thought she was just paranoid because he didn’t exactly approach her openly or got even a meter close to her. He was just in the area of the bookstore, whether it was sitting on the bench feeding the birds, standing under a shady tree checking his phone or having coffee at a nearby coffee shop. She shook her head from these thoughts and continued her day as normal, not noticing him stealing looks at her every few moments.

Jooheon had his eye on her for a while. A long while at that. It all started when he got the tip from an old buddy of his almost a month ago, about that old bastard Im Tae-won and his scheming wife Im Jihyo. The last time Jooheon had heard that name was from his father ( aka the leader before him ) on his dying breath before he had a bullet through his brain ( Imagine if Jooheon killed his own dad tho, idk just an idea ). Apparently Im Tae-won had almost caused their entire gang to be hunted down by the police after conning Jooheon’s father into signing a contact for some business deal that was a total fluke had had cost him billions of won in debt. Thankfully everything was done and over with but the last thing the old man wanted was to find that bastard’s family and murder them. Jooheon figured at least he would do that for his old man.

He had almost given up since at this current moment Im Tae-won and his wife where rotting away in jail while the rest of his family either changed their name and moved out of the country or where all dead already since they where untraceable. Until Jooheon got the news that Im Tae-won’s only daughter was back in Seoul. He laughed and grabbed his golden plated revolver and walked out of there, this was something he had to take care of himself.

He got most of the details of her location from Changkyun and set of to the nearest place she was at right now, a bookshop. It was one of the days where Jooheon didn’t have a plan, he figured he’d just go with the flow, maybe ask Kihyun to be his gettaway driver after he kidnaps her or something. Or maybe just a quick bullet to the head if no one was there. Jooheon didn’t particularly like killing girls, especially after knowing she was a year younger than him, but he learned from a young age that he’s got to do what he’s got to do to survive. If he didn’t do this the spirit of his late father would probably curse him to hell, if he didn’t already.

Jooheon walked down the street towards the bookshop and he couldn’t help but wonder, why the hell was a daughter of a filthy rich conman at working at small bookstore when she could’ve been shopping in one of the high end stores with the money she had inherited from her father that was probably hidden in some secret vault? He shook his head from those thoughts and slipped on his dark shades, approaching nearer to the bookstore. It was a weekend yet literally no one was there, except from a beautiful girl in a dark blue cashiers apron slouching over the counter playing some dumb phone game. His heart suddenly started beating rapidly in his chest and he broke out in cold sweat, abruptly turning the other direction and ducking under a bush. He was a mess, he hadn’t felt this way in a long time. He wasn’t sure what it was, but all he knew she wasn’t human. The daughter of his fathers worst enemy was a goddess.

He went back to the HQ immediately, and the first thing he was greeted with was with Kihyun asking, “Did you kill her yet?” Jooheon frowned and replied with a grunt. He had to see her again, in secret. No one had to know about this.

After noticing the strange man who had always seemed to be outside the bookstore, things started to get a little more strange for Dahyun. Her hunch was right, he had been looking at her. She could feel a pair of eyes on her at all times, unsettling her to no end. She had made eye-contact with him once, or at least she think she did, she couldn’t really tell since he wore those black sunglasses all the time. She gave him a slight smile and a wave, and his reaction to it was surprisingly amusing.

It wasn’t until a few weeks later that he finally had the courage to walk in the bookstore. As soon as she heard the chimes on the door she quickly paused her game, watching the man go though the door into the small bookstore straight to the magazine section. He was still wearing the same sunglasses and had some swagger to him, it caught her eye, but she didn’t stare long.

“I - uh. I’d like to take this.” He said and put a car magazine on the counter, having his head tilted to the side slightly as if he was avoiding eye contact. She took the magazine and scanned it, quickly bagging it before telling him the price and taking the money from his hand. She was a little shocked that he had handed her such a large bill and when she asked if he had change he just shook his head.

“It’s a little unusual to wear sunglasses inside when it’s not sunny.” She suddenly stated, while counting the change. And it all started from there. They didn’t really start ‘dating’ or at least acknowledge the fact that they were a couple until later in the relationship.

end:

She figured that her past would catch up to her. Her parents past actions had their consequences and those actions lead to Im Dahyun’s death. Nothing could’ve stopped it from happening, it was funny to her in a way. That the man who originally wanted to kill her was in the end the person who wanted her to live the most. And who would’ve expected that her own father who originally planned on keeping his daughter safe all her life would be the one to end it on one stupid accident.

Im Tae-won had escaped from prison with his wife from one of the most notorious jailbreaks in the history of all jailbreaks. He went into hiding but sadly his wide had suffered severe injuries and and died before he could do anything to save her. Of course he wanted revenge, revenge on the man who put him to jail in the first place. The leader of the X Clan. He had thought they where friends, but it all ended after one of them made the wrong move.

After gathering what was left of his followers he had set out to find whoever was in the X Clan but first, Tae-won’s top priority was to find his daughter. They managed to track her down at a cafe in one of the quieter sides of the city having a late lunch with a man. The exact man that needed to be assassinated. It was like he was killing two birds with one stone, finding his daughter and murdering the son of his enemy at the same time. He didn’t have the time to feel sorry for killing his daughters boyfriend before his men stormed the cafe and made sure everyone was out.

Jooheon was fast and he quickly put his arm around Dahyun to protect her and took out his weapons, pressing a button on his phone to alert all of the gang members to call for backup as well as send a GPS signal to their exact location. The men in white suits where armed and ready to shoot, what was only left was to give a signal from their boss.

Im Tae-won walked in through the doors and gestured for his men to take Dahyun away. She was almost too stunned to speak, she almost didn’t even recognize her own father, but the shock only lasted a few seconds before she was fighting with all her might to get out of the guard’s hold.
The other mean had pushed Jooheon to the floor with his hands behind his back, and Tae-won’s gun was pressed roughly against his forehead. He took a deep breath, as if he was already accepting his death. But that was an act. Jooheon was just counting the seconds till the rest of the gang members will show up and everything would be safe. But what he didn’t see coming was when he heard a gunshot, startling everyone in the room, including Tae-won.

The old man looked up in alarm and out of impulse he lifted his hand from Jooheon’s head and pulled the trigger, the bullet hitting Dahyun in the chest. In her hand was a gun that was given by Jooheon a few days ago, ‘just for emergencies’ he told her. She had somehow got her hand free and shot the gun as a distraction, not knowing that the members of the X Clan would burst through the door a millisecond later.

The last thing she heard was another gunshot and Jooheon shouting and crying telling her that everything will be alright, she just had to keep her eyes open for a bit longer.

She tried.

Dahyun closed her eyes and it all went blank.


how do you guys get caught:

They got caught first by either Wanderlust or False Alarm when he/she coincidentally was in the same neighborhood Jooheon and Dahyun where in and just happened to see them hanging out together. But they swore to secrecy, until the very last minute when they decided to spill the beans coincidentally also on Dahyun’s death day to everyone else ( if they are in the same gang, but if they’re in rival gangs its cool too ).

(This is just an idea tho!! I don’t even know if this makes any sense or if you’re on board or nah. It’s cool if you aren’t, this is just one of my wacky ideas lol )


requested scenes with love interest:

1.After introducing themselves at the bookstore for the first time and getting to know each other through text messages ( from multiple of Jooheon’s different numbers) and short chats on weekends he would sometimes drop off some of her favorite snacks at random times of the day, whether he would come early to the bookstore and hand it to the cashier who worked an earlier shift than her to pass it on or drop it off at her college. He would write a small note on it with some random jokes or pickup lines, since deep inside he was actually the jokey type of guy. Just no one knew about it. Dahyun would sometimes share the snacks with BITE ( since it would ruin her diet if she ate all the snacks to herself ) but she would never tell who it was from.

2.Dahyun had decided to invite him over for dinner one night when her roommate wasn’t home and actually cooked something that wasn’t made of leftovers for once. It wasn’t horrible but they ate it the food like it was the best thing they had ever eaten. They helped wash the dishes and relaxed on the couch while watching a movie. She had noticed that he had dark under eyes and ran back to her room to grab one of those under eye masks that she’s been saving. He looked at her skeptically but let her attach the cooling gel pads under his eyes, causing him to smile. She grinned back and couldn’t help but poke his dimple ( random ik but I think it’s cute haha??). Of course he couldn’t stay the night but it ended on a sweet note.


3. The arguing about how Dahyun won’t accept any of his money while the only reason he’s worried is because he doesn’t want the risk of her working in public places because of all the dangers and he just want to protect her but she’s just too stubborn about it.

How do you feel about who he really is?

She’s terrified, especially because of his position. She avoids thinking about it or where she’ll end up being if she stays with him or else those thoughts will keep her awake the whole night. But she hides it well, playing it cool in front of him.

How were you guys able to keep it a secret?
They hid it very well, because they rarely got to meet each other in person, after the members of the gang found Jooheon going out at the same time every weekend suspicious they switched it up, sometimes he’ll go to her college in disguise or accompany her back to her apartment late at night when she was working on a night shift.

Do you still love him in the end?

Of course, it took a while for her to fall in love with him but she really did care for him all the way till the bitter end.

Do you know his real name?

Dahyun only knew his name a few weeks before their final date, but then she still kept on calling him Myungsoo, mainly because she was used to it.

How would you feel if i separated you from him?

She would be utterly heartbroken, not just because she lost her boyfriend, it’s because she lost one of the important, if not most important people in her life yet again.

She shares a modest apartment with BITE ( if BITE is a girl, but if they’re a boy I don’t mind as well ) and she’s particularly fond of her, even to a point that she developed a girl crush on her. They first met on the internet when Dahyun was looking for a cheap apartment in Seoul to stay in since her college didn’t have a dorm. BITE was advertising to share rent her apartment at a reasonable price and Dahyun was the first to grab at it. She’s eternally grateful and appreciative of her as a best friend. She oddly acts shy and bashful around around her, always offering to clean the house and do her part as a good roomie. Dahyun just wishes she wouldn’t go out late at night so often doing who-knows what.

When she first moved in with BITE she took worked extra hours to save up and get a small ‘thank you’ gift for her, and not knowing much about her new roommate at the time she bought her a small notebook what she had decorated herself, hoping that it would be a good gift. She delayed giving her the gift, worried that BITE might not like it but thankfully the other female loved it.
( Or some something cute about their friendship. )

2.( HOSEOK & WANDERLUST )

On one late night when her shift at the convenience store had finally came to an end, she found out too late that the safe shortcut she used to walked back to her apartment had been closed for construction, causing her to take the long way back which was passing through the red light district. Dahyun gripped onto her coat tightly and tried to seem as inconspicuous as possible. That was working all good until she heard someone call her from behind.

“Hey! What’s someone like you doing in a place like this doll face? This is where all the wolves hunt for their new meal.”

He had a cocky handsome grin and a couple of piercings on his ear and was walking towards her direction (It’s wonhoe lmao ). If Dahyun wasn’t scared for her life she would’ve thought he was probably one of the most good looking guys she had ever seen. But enough of that, she was mostly looking down at the bulge in the pocket of his skinny jeans that looked alot like the silhouette of a revolver.

She gulped and kept quiet, looking straight into his eyes, trying to put on a brave act. The longer she looked at his now-slightly-confused smile she didn’t think he was going to kill her or anything, he just looked like he wanted to warn her to hurry up and get outta there and maybe flirt a little as an extra.

“ I was just passing through.” Dahyun replied after a short pause, “I don’t plan on getting eaten tonight so.. I’ll just get going.”

He laughed, “I didn’t expect that reply from someone like you but okay, cool. If you ever are in the area you can hit me up-”

“Oi prettyboy! Keep it in your pants, will ya?” ( You can change all the speech bits btw )

A girl/boy ( WANDERLUST ) with a big friendly smile ran over and put an arm around the man’s shoulder very buddy-like.

“Don’t mind him, he’s been told not to disturb random girls but this ass never listens.”

Dahyun nodded and smiled awkwardly before turning around and speed walking away, but she stayed long enough to hear WANDERLUST whisper into the man’s ear,

“Good thing I was around or else you would’ve been a dead man by tomorrow.”
