Our first glimpse of Nico’s powers was when he saved Percy from a rogue gang of skeleton warriors by sending them beneath the earth. And though he totally freaked out at first, his skills have grown considerably since then. Between being able to commune with ghosts, summon the undead, and manipulate shadows and darkness, Nico’s wide array of talents have helped to save Camp Half-Blood time and time again. Above all else, they ensure that no one is going to tease him about his extensive Mythomagic collection.

CHB has always had its share of difficult campers, but perhaps none as notable as Nico di Angelo. The moody son of Hades made a serious impression when he first arrived and opened a fissure to the underworld.
