The Glib Can't Sleep Edition

Can't sleep so gonna write a pastebin about upcoming stream stuff I guess. Speedrunning wise, I've decided to be OK with where I am with LttP 100% for now. Probably still do runs here and there to keep it fresh as December approaches, but honestly I improved much faster than I initially expected, and I know there's a large hill to climb to keep improving, and I just need to focus on the other 4 games in the SNES Pentathlon now. I kind of feel like that's been the case... I improve in one game then get worried about the rest lagging behind. Guess that's what I get for trying to get good at 5 different games at once lol. I did cut about 3 minutes off of 96 just by doing a couple of runs the other night, which was nice. I can definitely tell that I've learned stuff, just couldn't remember most of it, so maybe after a derust section I can have a run that doesn't lose billions in places. Also learned W1 of DKC1 tonight offstream, took it at a much slower pace and I think it's working out better than when I tried to just cram for 12 Hour Challenge. Might stream more learning in the days ahead just so that there's something resembling speedrunning content on the channel, but it'll likely be not the most exciting stuff to watch.

Zelda II won the strawpoll for the next casual game, so I'll start that at some point soon. Also Odyssey is coming out in a week and a half. Like everyone and their grandmother, I'm getting it on release. Still unsure if I'll stream it or not tho. There will be tons of better streamers out there doing the exact same thing, and while I'm not one to care about numbers, just kinda feels pointless to be streaming the same thing as everybody else. Maybe I'll get over myself and just stream it anyways lol.

2K follower special is coming soon, I promise. I thought I would do it this weekend, but there's likely company coming to visit, and then next weekend is Odyssey, so it might be the first weekend of November? Might give me some time to brush up on the All-Stars stuff as the weekly has kind of died :|

Also in the very early planning stages of setting up a streambot. Honestly, I've been away from programming for a LONG time, and the itch is definitely there; just never had anything to work on. Don't know what I'll all implement; I've got a few ideas but might run it by people to see what they want/don't want.

I feel like I'm in this weird kind of feeling where I want to do things to improve the stream, but at the same time I don't see the improvements as something to grow it? Guess I just feel like I owe something more to the people that throw money at me for reasons I don't understand. But I see people doing things that I could just as easily be doing, but I don't know what my endgame with doing some of those things really is... I guess, I feel like I could have a stream environment that's more entertaining and interesting, but I'm just not sure if focusing my energy in those places is the best idea? Idk, I'm tired and my mind is wandering lol.
