>The two are sat at the bar
>A tall glass of clear liquid slides on over
>Anon takes a gulp and shrugs
>"Not bad. And it was a damn car accident."
>Husk snickers
>"Hey, that's just how it goes, ain't it?"
>He takes a short sip from the bottle
>"Guess so."
>"How's Hell been treatin' you?"
>"Honestly? Pretty well."
>Anon slips an old deck of cards onto the table
>"Learned from the best, after all."
>Husk smiles at him, pats him on the shoulder
>"That's my boy."
>They clink their glasses
>"Know any tricks?"
>Husk lights up
>"Of course I fuckin' do. Hand me that."
>He takes another swig and grabs the deck from Anon
>"Alright, so..."
>Husk begins a story of four thieves, represented by the four jacks
>"The deck is the museum, yeah? Three of 'em go to different floors."
>The jacks get shuffled to the top, middle, and bottom
>"Now, number four over here?"
>He holds up the jack of diamonds
>"He's keeping lookout."
>The last jack faces up on the deck.
>"Alright pops, show me the magic."
>"I'm getting to it, kid. The jacks get caught, diamonds over here calls them up."
>He removes 4 cards off the top
>It's the goddamn jacks, back together
>"Whoa."
>"Heh, yeah."
>The pair shares another drink
>"Now, I've got a trick to show you."
>Sonny scoops up the deck, shuffling the jacks back in
>"Well? Go on?"
>"This's what I call..."
>The cards fall and scatter on the floor
>"52 card pickup."
>Husk is dumbfounded
>Another swig for Anon
>"Son."
>"Mmhm?"
>Husk claps his hand on his shoulder
>"That was real goddamn terrible."
>"Come on, what that was is a classic."
>A short chuckle follows
>"Really. I gotta say, I'm proud. First month in Hell, you made it."
>He refills Anon's glass
>"To however longer."
>"Yup."
>They clink glasses again. Anon skulls his, Husk keeps his tilted up for quite a bit.
>"Hoo. Damn."
>"Kid, I agree."
