  1. MM3D "Glitchless" stuff
  2.
  3. Things that still work:
  4.
  5. - Moon's Tear skip
  6. Basically all of the old methods work. You can backflip and release Z to turn around, or do the precise backflip (where you don't release Z). A gainer works too.
  7. - Bean skip in Deku Palace
  8. You can still backflip onto the doorway, and from there you can jump to the left side of the wall. From the wall just jump into any of the Deku flowers.
  9. - Jumpslash recoil from the dragonfly room in Woodfall Temple
  10. Not a huge break, but it still works the same way.
  11. - Owl skip in Goron Village
  12. You can just rolljump around the trigger onto the nearby invisible block and continue to the cave.
  13. - Lens pumping to preserve magic
  14. It seems like you can still mash fast enough to not use any magic at all. (I guess this might be a "glitch" but who cares?)
  15. - Skip shooting down the icicles in Snowhead Temple for a small key
  16. This is really minor, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. You can either rolljump in and out of the hidden alcove with the stray fairy chest, or just angle a jump straight up to the snowball with the small key chest inside. (You can also gainer to it, but that's cheating.)
  17. - Jump into the snowball alcove in Snowhead Temple
  18. If you shoot the first snowball with a fire arrow, you can easily jump down into the tunnel from either side. I think this skips some puzzle with Goron switches where you end up punching sections of the central column, but I can't remember exactly.
  19. - Skip long pirate cutscene
  20. Arrows can still hit the hive from far enough away to avoid stepping into the cutscene trigger.
  21. - Jump from the Hookshot chest to the tank
  22. This barely matters, but I'm glad it still works.
  23. - Skip 2 pirate fights
  24. For the first of these 2 skips (on your left as you exit the room containing the Hookshot chest), you can backflip down and grab the ledge to pull yourself into the opening. You can also just turn around in midair as Deku Link to make it. The nearby rock wall seems to be changed somewhat, so I wasn't able to get a sidehop or jumpslash into the wall to send me into the opening. Those methods (and others) could very well still be possible.
  25. For the second pirate fight skip, there are some inexplicably awkward looking spikes blocking some small sections of the ledge you can jump from, but they don't actually stop you from jumping around. You can still curve a jump around the roof to the door on the other side, or sidehop around the roof and jumpslash onto the ledge. It's a little trickier than it was in the original game, but still not hard.
  26. - Gekko skip in Great Bay Temple
  27. With a careful rolljump from the nearby platform with the pots, Zora Link can pull himself up through the opening and get the boss key without going through Gekko's room. You can also make an ice platform by shooting an Ice Arrow into the water, then simply jump up from that (this is pathetic).
  28. - Skip the second half of Ikana Castle
  29. As soon as you get to the roof, you can throw a Powder Keg over the fence onto the cracked section of the roof. This is probably sadder than the Gekko skip.
  30. - Ride the Stone Tower blocks
  31. You can skip playing the Elegy of Emptiness a few times by jumping on some of the blocks, then re-activating them by removing the statue from their switches. All of the same tricks from the original game apply here.
  32. - Skip melting bombing the floor and melting the sun block in the Armos room in Stone Tower Temple
  33. A bombchu can go over the sun block to set off the 2 Armos in the back of the room.
  34. - Skip most of inverted Stone Tower Temple
  35. When you get to the end of the long hallway with the Dexihand near Eyegore's bridge, you can sidehop down from there and jumpslash to make it onto the platform that leads to Gomess. The geometry in the room looks changed, and this seems a little trickier than it was in the original game, but it still works.
  36.
  37.
  38. Things that don't still work:
  39.
  40. - Jump to the log in the swamp
  41. The shape of the log is completely different now. It looks like you'd need a lot more height to get onto it from the lily pad. It might still be possible somehow, but it looked way too high to me.
  42. - Backflip onto the log in the first room of Woodfall Temple
  43. It seems like the log is a little higher where it meets the wall, but I'm not really sure. I expected this to work, but I couldn't get it at all. It might still be possible, but I tried it for a while with no success.
  44. - Skip climbing the ladder in Pirate's Fortress
  45. The weird looking spikes that you jump around to skip one of the pirate fights prevent you from Goron rolling onto the roof. I couldn't find any other way to get on the roof to get to the door at the top without climbing the ladder.
  46. - Jumpslash recoil onto the caged ceiling in Great Bay Temple
  47. I managed to barely land on the cage a few times, but Link always slipped off before I could do anything. This doesn't matter much anyway, but I never managed to pull it off. It might be possible with a really good angle and well-timed jumpslash.
  48. - Ice Arrows skip in Ikana Canyon
  49. The octorocks here respawn really fast, so it's hard to tak your time getting a good shot to the tree with the Hookshot. Regardless, I tried it for a long time and never managed to hook the tree. It might be possible, but it looks like the area was actually changed to prevent this. I was able to long jump across the river as Zora Link, but nothing without bombs.
  50. - Crystal switch skip in the checkerboard room in Ikana Castle
  51. The checkerboard lava block seems taller now. Backflips, jumpslashes, and gainers as Zora Link don't get enough height to get on top of it anymore.
  52. - Snipe Eyegore from below
  53. It looks like Eyegore doesn't wake up and walk around when you're down below him anymore, so I had to get a small key and go up to his bridge the normal way. Even if you could kill him from below, the removal of the Giant's Mask chest from his bridge means that you wouldn't have a way up there anyway.
  54.
  55.
  56. Things that I'm not sure about:
  57.
  58. - Jump onto the moving waterwheel in Great Bay Temple
  59. I'm not very good at this trick, so I didn't really try it. This is what I'm referring to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMMBTO6vGPA
  60.
  61.
  62. New things:
  63.
  64. - Skip using Deku Mask to get 2nd small key in Stone Tower Temple
  65. In the room with eyegore's bridge, there's a new switch that you have to press to spawn the small key chest. Apparently, you're supposed to hop to the switch with the Deku Mask, but a dolphin dive from the water or a rolljump from the nearby platform will both make it. You may need to jumpslash to make the jump as normal Link, but Zora Link can make the jump without it.
