>”Nah, I think that it will be much more fun if I stay…” Discord pops again in front of you “I want to see that Starlight to get what’s coming to her, besides that whole mysterious vibe doesn’t suit me”
>You can’t help but laugh. Well, you weren’t going to tell him no, if anything, with Discord here, Starlight’s options to try to escape were reduced to an absolute zero.
>You could ask him about what he meant with “discovering the unknown possibilities of existence” but knowing Discord, he won’t answer the question or fake dementia…
>And you had these lingering feeling that he was right… that you had to discover the meaning behind those words by yourself…
“Suit yourself my friend. Oh, wait, before you unfreeze time, tell me something first…how are you going to save face after what happened? I can’t imagine that everyone took it nicely that I was kidnapped in front of the whole carnival”
>”Oh, that? Pfffft! Don’t worry about that!” Discord waves his paw dismissively “As always, I have something under my sleeve” Discord pulls a poster from underneath the fur of his arm…kinda gross to be honest “Take a look!”
>You reluctantly take the poster with your magic and read it. Just like the one you saw at the Guard HQ, this one was fairly minimalistic, at least as minimalistic as Discord could get.
>It detailed the Chaos event taking place at Ponyville and tons of info about what you assumed were famous ponies being on stage in both the town and outside
>You skip to the last paragraph which read as follows: “Are you a bit of a jokester? Want to play a prank to your friends but don’t want to suffer the consequences? Look no more! You can do that here at the chaos carnival! If your pranks are good enough you may be even rewarded! Oh! And do you think that you can best the spirit of chaos with a prank? The pony who achieves such feat will earn a crown of pure gold, 2000 bits and the title of the King or Queen of Pranks! Just remember, Discord will be playing too…”
“Oh, the pranks contest? How will that help you to save face about…..OOOOOOOOH! So you are going to say that all of this was just a prank?”
>”Just a prank, you are correct” Discord smiles proudly “But you will have to play your part. Those two mares already agreed to follow with my little charade…Now, if only the friendship brigade were as easy to convince…”
“Leave that to me. I don’t want anyone to worry about me when there’s no need for that anymore, it would be annoying to say the least. I’m not comfortable with lying completely though…Twilight and her friends are really nice…except for the pink one…”
>”Eeeeugh! And here I was hoping that you would join me to come up with a nice plan to fool Twilight” Discord sighs and crosses his arms “Are you sure that you don’t want to change that cutie mark for one in chaos? You don’t know the fun that you are missing out, trust me I know a lot about chaos”
>You chuckle and shake your head
“I’ll have to decline the offer, I’m already liking this harmony thing a lot, it just feels… right, you know? So I don’t want to fool Twilight. We are telling her and her friends everything that happened here”
>”But it would be fuuuuuun!” Discord scoops you with his tail and brings you to his eye level “Come on Anon! We could play dumb and say that you had that cutie mark since before you arrived.  Don’t you want to see Twilight’s face when she tries to figure out how she missed that you had a cutie mark? You can’t imagine how fun it is to get her all freaked out!”
>You shake your head once more
“I’m sorry dude, but telling them the truth is the right thing to do. Besides I have the feeling that if I start lying then that will come and get me in the future. I’m not that good at lying anyways, so sorry for disappointing you again”
>Discord rolls his eyes and gives you a sly grin “Not good at lying? Then how do you explain the speech that you gave back at the town square?”
>You frown at Discord and look at him right in the eye
“I didn’t say a single lie back there. I’m truly grateful about everything that you have given to me and I’ll gladly do my best to prove to everyone that you are not a monster. I didn’t lie about you being a fantastic friend either, I have always meant that”
>You turn your serious expression for a cocky smile
“So stop being so insecure when someone is giving you his friendship. Discord, you are my friend, one of my best and closest friends, and that won’t change…”
>”Are you sure about that, my little prince?” Discord raises an eyebrow, hiding his nervousness behind that smug grin of his “Because excuse moi for doubting that the now prince of harmony would be friends with a chaotic being such as myself”
>Discord points his paw to his chest and turns his head. Still, he had an eye open waiting for your answer
>You sigh and nod
“You might be the very incarnation of chaos, but that’s not important for me. As I told Glimmer, if you find your inner peace with chaos, then who am I to judge your ways? As long as you don’t hurt anyone, or try to impose your ways as some sort of flawless universal truth, then I’m okay with who you are…”
>Discord goes silent, just limiting to stroke his white beard
“And to be honest? I wouldn’t change who you are for anything in the world. I saw what you did in the past, but that’s not you, not anymore. You have moved on and became someone else. I still don’t know what happened with Tirek, but I don’t care, everything that you have done since I met you proves to me that you are a good guy now. And hey, you already performed a miracle once when you gave me this new life, who knows, maybe in the future you will perform an even greater one… we don’t what destiny has in store for us and-“
>”Alright, alright, I get it! Sheesh, you only had to say that you weren’t lying, not start giving me a lecture like your mother…I mean Celestia would do! STILL…” Discord takes a big breath, gathering all of the strength he could muster for what he was about to say “…thank you… There I said it! Now onto more important business!”
“Oh come on dude, I was being serious, but heh, you are welcome my friend”
>”If you are going to act like a boring goodie two shoes with the friendship brigade, that’s fine, just don’t get cheesy with me!… but how about settling some unfinished business with our friend over there?” Discord points to Starlight who was still incrusted in the wall “I’m sure that there’s at least some part of you that wants to get back at her”
>You rub your chin and close your eyes. You take a sigh and finally look at Discord
“Yes…not in the way you are planning…but yes…I want to finish some stuff with that crazy horse”
>”I take that as that you don’t want me to strap that unicorn into a chair and send her flying into an active volcano, right?” Discord asks as he levitates the frozen, unconscious Starlight towards you
“That sounds tempting… but no, don’t worry, I will at least make it interesting, I know how much you like when ponies freak out about something”
>”We’ll see about that…” Discord snaps his talons and unfreezes Starlight, but she was still out “Oh for the love of…” a box glove appears out of thin air and punches Starlight in the face
>”ARGH! WHAT THE HAY!” Starlight looks around and notices that she was floating “How am I…” but when she notices you…her anger comes back again “ANON!”
>Her horn begins to glow but is stopped by Discord who just snaps his talons, making the horn disappear “M-my horn! What did you….”
>“Ah, Ah, Ah! Where are your manners?”
>Starlight gasps “D-D-D-Discord?! H-How?!”
>Discord pulls Starlight closer to him and narrows her eyes at her “That’s not for you to know, and not for me to say. But you better listen to me, very, veeeeery carefully”
>Holy mother of Mary, his pupils became thin and were glowing with a sinister red shine. Discord was growling, letting his fangs show… holy fuck, you didn’t even know that Discord had fangs… or that they were that big and sharp “You crossed a very dangerous line when you tried to hurt Anon, and as surprising as it might sound for somepony like you, he…is.. MY FRIEND! The only pony who is EVER allowed to mess with my friends is me and only ME! Understand?! So consider yourself lucky that I didn’t transform you into a cupcake ready to be eaten by some random filly!”
>Starlight’s pupils shrink and asks with a shaking voice “W-What are you going to do to me?”
>”Moi? Do something to you? I’m sorry darling but you don’t fulfill even the basic requirements for me to consider wasting my time on you” Discord chuckles sarcastically “Oh no, no, no! I’m not going to do anything… He is though” Discord points to you. And you in turn give Starlight a cocky smile and a wink
>”I’m just here to make sure that you don’t try anything funny, because if you do…” Discord’s eyes glow with rage once more, making Starlight gulp “Then I’ll make sure that jail or even Tartarus itself shall look like a tropical paradise compared to what I’ll do to you”
>Discord pulls Starlight a little closer to you. She glares at you and scowls “I suppose this is the part where you get your revenge on me, isn’t?”
“You can put it that way, yes. But it’s now what you think. So don’t worry Glimmer, you can take this as a lesson, or even better, enlightenment”
>”Oh this is rich; you are going to teach me? ME?!” Starlight starts to get angry but you don’t care and give her a little smug grin
“Yes…you see Starlight, I’m not angry at you…well, just a little. Truth to be told, I actually just listened to what your past actions really were. So I now know that you lied about pretty much everything. You didn’t save that village or those ponies, you set them up and brainwashed with your lies…”
>Starlight snaps at you ”That’s not true! I showed them way! I-“
“Oh shut up, you lied to them and brain washed them, and then tried to do the same with Twilight and her friends, but they managed to stop you. You lied about everything, even about the elements siding with you”
>Starlight shakes her head ”I didn’t lie about that…they….they reacted…they liked my plans about equality!”
“I’m sorry to break it to you, but I’m quite sure that wasn’t the case. And you know deep inside that what happened was your spell acting on the tree of harmony, not the other way around. You tapped into the past and twisted it to your own ends. And the end result was that you showed me lies mixed with the truth…”
>Starlight growls, but doesn’t say anything
 “But you see Glimmer, I actually wanted to congratulate you, some of the stuff that you preached isn’t half bad, team work, humility…that stuff I can get behind and fully support. The rest? Nothing but lies and desperation that came from a pathetic pony that just wants power…”
>Some tears ran down Glimmer’s face, but she never stopped glaring you
 “Looking at it, I could’ve become like you… someone so miserable and empty on the inside that is willing to do anything to just get some power over others. But I swear that I won’t be like that, I won’t become like you. And as proof, I’ll put aside my feelings and won’t have any sort of revenge on you …”
>”Booooring” Discord interrupts and yawns
>”Oh, so you are going to let me go?” Starlight chuckles sarcastically
>You shake your head and point to where Moonlight and Aegia were
“No, I won’t have my revenge, but you will face justice. You can’t just go around life without dealing with the consequences of your actions; even Discord here had to go through that… I don’t know how much time you will have to fulfill in jail, but I do hope that you use it to think deeply about the error in your ways. I hope that at some point in your life, you realize how wrong you were. But until that day comes, I just have one final piece of advice to you…”
>”And what would that be?” Starlight asks with disgust
>You nod to Discord and notice that he snapped his talons. Oh well, you guess that he couldn’t resist from screwing a little with Starlight. And who were you to stop him from having a little bit of fun?
>You turn to Starlight and give her the biggest shit eating grin that you can muster
“Whatever you do…don’t drop the soap…”
>*Ding* *Ding*
>A gigantic box glove appears out of thin air and punches Starlight right in the face, sending her flying right where the hole in the cave wall was, knocking her out immediately…again. But hey, at least she got her horn back.
>You look at the pink unicorn and rub your chin
“I do wonder if taking so many blows in hear head won’t give her brain damage… more than what she already has, but anyways…”
>You turn to Discord and offer him a bow
“That was a tremendous punch my friend, if you ever become a professional boxer you can be certain that I would always bet against you…because I’m sure that you would lose on purpose jut to laugh at everyone who bet on you”
>”Oh my prince, I do not deserve such flattery…” Discord gives you a small bow before breaking into laughter “HAH! Who am I kidding, that was great! Even more since I did it… but tell me my little prince, were you telling the truth back there?” Discord raises an eyebrow, looking at you with mild curiosity
“Most of it was, but I can’t let all my feelings go, not yet anyways, I do kinda hate her, well not kinda, I hate her…a whole lot. So if you could make her jail an especially bad one, I would be very thankful…”
>”Consider it done! But to be fair, I don’t think that I’ll have to do much about that…” Discord snickers
“Huh, why do you say that?”
>”As I said earlier, you’ll find out…But let’s go back, shall we? I can’t wait for you to see what I have done with this boring town…” Discord snaps his talons making everything go back to normal.
>Moonlight and Aegia finishes her little conversation and handcuff Starlight in a really tight way. Her four legs were tied with a thick chain and they put something in her horn for what you assumed was to prevent her from performing any spell.
>Aegia turns to you and notices Discord “Ah, monsieur Discord. A pleasure to see zat you have finally joined us. Did you manage to calm everypony down?”
>Discord nods “Naturally, I just told them that it was the prank that started the whole event”
>”Good, zen we only have to take care of calming down ze Princess and ze rest of ze elements. So excuse moi if I ask you to teleport us to ze town hall. I believe zat you will escort General Moonlight wiz ze prisoner, oui?”
>”Oh, what times we live in where the supposed best element of the Night Guard can’t handle a simple unicorn” Discord rolls his eyes and stretches a little “But fine, if anything I’ll have fun witnessing the wonderful chaos that must be going outside, sooo General what’s-your-name, are you ready to go?”
>”In a moment…” Moonlight makes sure that all of Starlight ties were firmly in place. When she’s done doing that she flies to you and gives you a hug “I have to go now little dude, are you going to be okay?”
>You return the hug whole heartedly and nuzzle a little in her
“Yeah, don’t worry. I’m stronger than what I look like. You just take care of handling Starlight and preventing my mom from freaking out about what happened…”
>”Don’t worry about that nasty mare, trust me, she’s going to be a long, long time behind bars, but about your mother…that’s easier said than done…” Both of you share a laugh and break the hug.
>Moonlight starts walking to where Starlight was lying, Discord was at her side”Oh, before I forget…” Moonlight briefly turns to you “When you talk to Cherrywood over that weird device that you gave her, don’t mention to her that you were foalnapped, okay? She will get worried and probably will try something stupid to make sure that you are okay… and if she does that, then I’m holding you responsible…”
>That last part…felt like a threat, one that you didn’t want to suffer, so you give Moonlight a military salute
“You don’t have to worry about anything ma’am. My dear Cherrywood won’t know anything about anything of this!”
>”Good…” Moonlight nods to herself before turning to Discord “Let’s go, I can’t wait to…interrogate this suspect” You notice an evil grin in her face before Discord teleports you away…
>Thinking about it…Moonlight was known for being a little too…harsh. You can only guess that Starlight Glimmer will have lots and lots of fun during her interrogation.
>Unlike your expectations, you weren’t inside the Town Hall but rather what you assumed was Twilight’s castle. Walls were made of a thick and unpolished purple crystal; some simple but elegant stained glasses were placed in the upper parts.
>Of course, the big thing about the room was that odd chandelier. It was made of pure wood and it looked more like someone ripped off the base of a tree, added a bunch of cheap crystals to it and hanged the base on the ceiling. Man, whoever installed this abomination must have scammed Twilight and hard.
>At the center of the room was giant round table made of pure crystal and…holy blazes! That was a goddamn hologram of what you deduce must be Equestria! Jesus, this totally compensates for the ugly ass chandelier!
>Around the table were seven thrones, and seated in each one were Twilight, her wonderful friends and Spike the purple cuck. And now that you notice, each throne had an engraving of Twilight and her friend’s cutie marks…all of them except for the purple lizard.
>And oh boy, they were discussing…about you
>Twilight is the first to speak, her mane was rustled and she looked nervous ”I’m telling you girls, we have to contact Celestia and Luna! What if the foalnapper was a changeling or even something worse? I have a very bad feeling about this; we HAVE to start looking for Anon!”
>RD was resting on her little throne, her hooves behind her head. She rolls her eyes and wave her hoof dismissively at Twilight”Chill out Twi, we all saw how angry Discord was about the whole thing, whoever did this, must be already having a trip to chaos land, besides, did you forget about his bodyguard? That mare looked like she could handle a Manticore all by herself, he’ll be fine…”
>Applejack points her hoof at RD and narrows her eyes ”But him being angry doesn’t mean that he’ll get the lil’ fella! Ah am with Twi on this one! We need to stop sittin’ on our butts and start lookin’ fer him!”
>”Umm…Applejack…please…I’m sure that…ahm Discord will find the Prince…We have to believe in him”
>”But what if he doesn’t find him in time, darling? I can’t imagine how sad the Princesses will be if they find out that their little angel got hurt, we simply can’t stay idle by when a ruffian has a member of royalty hostage! Especially when it’s the Prince that we are talking about!”
>"I agree with Rarity! We just gotta go! I mean, if we just stay here and wait! He might still be foalnapped when his birthday hits! How am I supposed to throw him a super awesome birthday party if he's still captured? A foal without a birthday party? That's like fifty anti-fun bad points right there!"
>”It’s decided then, we are going to look for Anon ourselves. I’m sorry Fluttershy, but we can’t let Discord to handle all of this, we don’t know if he even has an idea of who might be behind the foalnapping and I’m sure that he will need all the help that he can get!”
>Twilight finally stands up and with her, the rest of the mares that conformed this weird pony version of the round table prepare to take off…
>That’s it, if it wasn’t for Aegia interrupting their little moment ”I’m afraid zat won’t be necessary. Ze Prince is safe and ze criminal has been taken to justice” Aegia points to you.
“Yup, everything is fine now. Moonlight and Discord has taken Starlight to the jail that the Guard has at their HQ”
>”Starlight?!” The 6 ponies replies in unison
>Twilight flies to you, she was freaking out by this new turn of events ”Anon, are you saying that the pony who foalnapped you was Starlight Glimmer? THE Starlight Glimmer? But How? And for what reason she would do that?”
>”Why are yer even asking that, Twi? This is as clear as a well-polished apple! That no good of Starlight Glimmer foalnapped the lil’ fella right here so she could steal his cutie mark!”
>”Yes Applejack, but the question is why? Why would Starlight Glimmer foalnapp Anon? I don’t understand the purpose behind her actions, why would she take such risk when she knew that Discord and we would be looking for Anon?” Twilight answers with annoyance in her voice, so much in fact that she came off… as a bit of a cunt
>”Oooooooh! I know! I know!” Pinkie Pie happily bounces in between AJ and Twilight…and continues bouncing around them “Maybe she wanted to say Hi to Anon! So she took him away for a moment and gave him an incredibly awesome “Hi Anon” Party!” She stops for a moment and huffs annoyed “And that big meany didn’t invite anypony! What kind of party would that be? Everypony knows that parties are like, sooooo much better when you invite as many ponies as you can! Speaking of which…”
>Pinkie Pie makes a final bounce, one so big that she reaches the chandelier. She lands in front of you and takes out a notepad from her puffy mane “I still need to know what kind of streamers, soda, cake, games and decorations you would like for your “Welcome to Equestria!” party! So don’t be shy Anon! Oh wait! It doesn’t matter if you actually are shy, that’s totally okay too! Yep! Because there’s nothing wrong with being shy, just look at Fluttershy! She’s shy, but she’s still super awesome, like this one time when…”
>Pinkie Pie continues with her endless barrage of stupid questions and stories. Your eye twitches and your head starts pounding. You cover your poor ears with your hooves, but that didn’t help a bit.
>Pinkie’s voice was like a drill that pierced through your skull, shattering any semblance of sanity that you might have, and she wouldn’t shut up for a single moment.
 >To make things worse, not happy with driving you to near insanity, Pinkie bounces to you and tries to grab you. But the moment she does that…
>*POOF*
>She poofs away in a small cloud that was composed of confetti and sparks. Everyone gets surprised by this at first… except you, who takes this opportunity to have a big breathe in relief.
>And it was because, for a just a single moment you saw Discord in that cloud of weirdness giving you a thumb up.
 >Thank you Discord, you glorious bastard!
>”Hey, what gives?!” You hear Pinkie’s voice coming from outside the room. She bursts in, bouncing with that big smile of doom that she always carried around.
>”Pinkie, what the hay was that?” Rainbow Dash was the first and only one who dared to ask what was going on
>”I don’t know! I thought that Anon was having tummy aches and I just wanted to give him a big, warm and cuddly hug so he could feel better! Juuust like the one I’m going to give him right now!” She tries to grab you again, but the result was the same, she disappears in that confetti poof and appears outside the room.
>Pinkie Pie starts laughing…that horrible, horrible, nasal laughter… as she continues to get poofed again and again “Never mind! This is actually super-duper fun!” and every time, Discord’s face changes, to the point where you can see him laughing at you
>Fuck you Discord, you son of a bitch!
>Thankfully, Rarity steps in and saves you from falling into a pit of madness “Pinkie, darling, please could you stop with that at once! Can’t you see that you are scaring the poor colt?”
>”Awwww” Pinkie Pie finally stops with her constant stream of bullshit and fucks off to see what were Applejack and Twilight discussing about. She stops mid-way through and turns around “Just one last time!” Pinkie bounces to you
>But she’s intercepted by Aegia, who looked as annoyed as her monotonous face allowed her to be “Zat will be enough Madame Pinke Pie” Aegia tosses Pinkie over the room
>But Pinkie actually seemed to enjoy that “Wheeeeee!” she exclaims before making a perfect landing.
>”Heeeeeey…What’s up with that cutie mark?” RD finally notices that you had one, and quickly dashes to where you were, giving your cutie mark a quick glance
>”What cutie mark?” Twilight stops her argument with Applejack and walks to you “Huh? I’ve never seen any cutie mark that looks like this one, and Celestia never mentioned that you got your cutie mark in any of her letters. Anon, mind you telling me how did you obtain it?”
>”He didn’t have that before he gave his speech in front of everypony” Rarity joins Twilight and RD with the inspection of your cutie mark “But I can’t imagine that he obtained such important thing when he was with that awful Starlight”
>RD adds to Rarity’s statement ”Yeeeeah, he didn’t have it when I met him during that awesome escort mission, I’m pretty sure of that”
>”Well shoot, I reckon that’s a mighty question that we have there…”
>”Who cares, it’s just a cutie mark, no big deal, especially coming from him” Spike finally speaks, only to be shut up by the glares of everyone else “What, What did I say?”
>Twilight glares at him once more, making him growl and cross his arms…that purple little cuck…
>”The mystery just got more mysterious! It’s time for Detective Pinkie to be on the case of the mystery of-“ But Pinkie Pie is prevented by Aegia from joining the group, seems like she had enough of her pink shit.
>An eruption of questions falls upon you from every mare in the room. There were so many that you couldn’t take any more, jesus, you should have stayed with Discord and Moonlight!
>”Ummm, girls, please, you are scaring him…” Fluttershy steps in and lies in the ground so she could be at your eye level “Anon,  I know that you must have been through an awful lot today… but could you tell us… if you are okay with that of course… what happened? Please, it’s very, very important that you tell us… but we won’t be forcing you to say anything that do you don’t want… And if you want to stop at any time, just tell me and I’ll make sure that you feel much, much better… ”
>You slowly nod, and smile at Fluttershy… what a wonderful pony she was, no wonder why Discord is so fond of her.
“Yes, yes of course I will…”
>And so, you detail almost everything that happened at the tree of harmony. About Starlight’s plans of brain washing you, about the visions and that weird spell that she used, everything that happened, you tell them in great detail. The only thing that you didn’t tell them was about Discord punching her.
>After your explanation, Twilight immediately speaks out “Girls, this is important, we NEED to talk with Starlight! That spell that she used might be of great importance. I knew that Starswirl made a time travel spell, but something like what Anon just described? Now that’s something that we have to learn more about! And more importantly, this might finally be a chance for us to show Starlight that she can have friends too!”
>”Oooooh! Sounds like fun! And I love fun! Count me in!” Pinkie evades Aegia and joins Twilight with a big smile
>Fluttershy nods and joins Twilight and Pinkie ”I’m going too… I know that she has made awful things but jail sounds so…awful… I can’t just stand here… and…well…I want to tell Discord that he did a good job for saving Anon… he deserves a little credit too”
>”Well, Ah reckon that you might have a point there Twi, but in mah opinion, sun don’t shine on the same dog’s tail all the time fer that pony. And Ah rather stay away from that kind of fancy magic anyways”
>You see that bit of assholery coming from Twilight once more as she looks to the earth pony with disappointment ”Applejack! You can’t be serious! I’m sure that if we all go together and talk with Starlight, then she will surely accept our friendship, but that will only happen if-”
>Applejack takes notice of this and interrupts her friend before getting lectured ”Don’t let your mouth overload your tail, Twi. If you really want to go and mend fences with that mare then that’s fine and dandy, but I’m not going. And if you ask mah opinion, Ah think that yer barking at the wrong tree with this Starlight business, might be wrong, but considering what Anon just told us, Ah think that she’s still that wart-taker that we met before”
>”Very well Applejack if that’s your opinion then you can stay, the rest of us will go, right girls?” Twilight glares at Applejack for a moment before turning to Rarity and RD…but it seemed that they were reluctant about this whole thing too
>”Yeaaah…about that… I think that I’m with AJ on this one” RD rubs the back of her neck “Don’t get me wrong Twilight, I get where you are coming from and I’m all for friendship, but…She’s kind of a jerk…a big one actually…a big and dangerous jerk that stole our cutie marks and locked us up. Sooo yeah, nah, I think that I’ll stay too”
>”Well, I must simply agree with what Rainbow and Applejack has said. Darling, I understand that you want to reform Starlight, you are the Princess of Friendship after all, but please, she tried to hurt a little colt, twice in fact. I can’t shake the feeling that if she had succeeded with her horrible plans to convert the poor little Prince then she would have tried the same with other foals, like Sweetie Belle…”
>Applejack walks to Rarity’s side and looks at Twilight with a stern look ”Or Applebloom”
