There is a discrepancy here between the two debaters, largely to do with post length. As a judge, I’m inclined to choose favorably based on who argued better. However, quantity does not equate to quality – just because Guy raised more points does not necessarily mean he won. I could argue Deku is more effective at brushing his teeth, but that would not make my opponent any more likely to respond to it or even had a need to address it. That’s about what I’m feeling regarding this debate, between the glock and the batmobile and “visually fast”.
Amasian basically argues “my team strong, your team weak.”, more specifically regarding offense and speed. To be fair, that is often what determines a victor in these speed unequalized debates. I really appreciate his 1st response; it is simple and easy to understand. His 2nd response is very short, just some Green Arrow rebuttals and a reaffirmation of “opponent team slow”. His 3rd response expands on some points of contention, but is it enough?
Guy meanwhile. I found myself initially agreeing with his first response. The Shazam characterization point and the batmobile point specifically. His arguments make sense to me, it is sort of difficult to imagine the batmobile in the context of this fight when it’s poorly defined as a composite when it does in fact vary so much over Batman’s appearances over the decades. Guys phrases this well in his 2nd response; “My opponent is running a vehicle with a combination of technology, parts, and computers that has never existed, and has done literally nothing to define what it looks like, acts like, or can do.”. He raises these points simultaneously while arguing his team’s effectiveness meanwhile Amasian is arguing “visually slow” and is almost entirely on defense from his 2nd response onward.
I would’ve liked to see more aggression on amasian’s part, I liked a lot of what he was doing with Green Arrow, but it felt like Guy was controlling the debate.

ChinaBoo didn’t meet the post requirements, so Ame wins by default/concession.
I’ll note I think China had a good chance here, there were definite arguments that could’ve swayed at least myself based on his first response and his selection of characters.
