- Socializing/Social Anxiety/Lack of Self-Confidence: To this day, YJ still has difficulty with talking, starting, or keeping a lasting conversation; he tends to stumble over words, badly stammer, when bombarded with questions or when expecting to do a speech or long answer. He is careful with voicing his opinions, as he has always been secretly afraid of what others will comment and he hates being put down because of that. With his anxiety comes the lacking of self-confidence that seemingly comes naturally to choreographies, often leading him down the silent path, so instead of raising his voice to be heard, Youngjun will stand awkwardly to the side with whoever he's listening to and then later, when he's alone with just one other person, will express his thoughts then. With working at such a large company as VIVID, this young man is hoping to start on a journey to relinquish - or at least, "lower the levels" - of what calls "a heartless problem."
- Camera-Shy: More of a bad habit but still unreliable to him being a dance choreographer, Youngjun shies away from cameras and videos, especially when he's set up for interviews or even when "encouraged" to show off small spoilers of a new dance that he may be teaching the artists.
- Being A Constant Shadow: Ever since he was younger , Young Jun Jin has always - and strangely - been his younger brother's shadow, not interested in the spotlights or large groups but always there for support and encouragement. Having a small bit of training experience, Youngjun never did get used to standing in front of screaming audiences and usually froze on his pre-debut showcases; unfortunately, this proved no good for the talents he now hides behind teaching the trainees and artists. While this is not a major asset to be working on, at least, not before his self-confidence situation, there are many who wish that YJ would come out a bit more and become known for his hard-working skills rather than for his odd likeness for remaining behind others as a quiet observer and supporter; recently, he has been wanting to be more than someone's shadows and is using his dance videos, as well as ZE.A's Siwan, for extra help.
