I own a site about a profession. I have issues ranking pages on my site with similar info and would like to know how you guys think i could rectify my problem. The site has pages lets say the niche is accountant training, and my pages are similar to 'accountant training virgina' 'accountant training colorado' how would i go about providing unique information on these pages that google will rank....

Could I put a search box with a list of schools in that state, or information on only a certain amount of schools in that state or what? Right now they just have a bit of info about local schools in the state that have those programs, but I have always wanted a better way to do this. They used to rank and now they currently do not as google sees them as content that is not great or provides good value. It is a wordpress site.
Write great content yourself, get involved on social media, get linked on a professional association site related to that profession
Just test on one page by providing both list of schools and complete information on those schools. After that wait for some time to notice the changes. We need to try different methods to rank better. Hope it helps :)
