  1. Can someone tell me if this part of the story makes any sense? I kinda forget who the fuck said what and when, so at the very least, all I can really do is guess what the hell I wanted it to read like...
  2. ============================================
  3.
  4. “Ok, rewind! Let’s review the idiocy here, or maybe it’s just me, but, you support the war, a war that’s being fought, not only for the original intent of putting democracy in the middle east, but also for oil, WMDs, nukes, Saddam, Osama, and a shitload of other reasons. But, you don’t support the troops, who are tired of fighting the war you’re supporting? Though, without the troops fighting the war, there would be no war being fought. And no war being fought would mean, no troops wanting to come home. But, at the same time, no troops fighting, would mean no war. Is it me? Or are we all hearing the same thing here?”
  5.
  6. “Here is my veiw on this subject, I support that which is rightfully fought, now everyone’s going to have their opinions about this, but this war’s original intent was to get revenge on Saddam for nearly deep sixing Bush’s daddy, I truly appreciate Saddam coming out of his hidey hole and what not to make this whole thing that much easier.” There was scattered laughter throughout the auditorium, and Adam for one didn’t burst into a fit of laughter, though he did have to muffle himself once or twice with the thought of a Whack-a-Saddam game becoming a thing.
  7.
  8. “I support the troops, who are fighting the war you’re supporting. Though you don’t support the troops are fighting the war you support.” Silence followed as Dr. Ahrms reformed his thought more completely.
  9. “I support the troops, but not the war, because the troops have a right to voice their opinion about coming home, and I’m sure that more than a couple of Generals and Sergeants wanting to come home as well.” Dr. Ahrms stopped talking for a second to take a breath and let everything sink in. “I didnt mean-” Dr. Ahrms smiled and nodded and began again,
  10. “Here is,” He began again, chuckling to himself as he did, “where your whole statment kinda tickles me a bit. I’ll explain this a bit slowly for you, inspite of the fact that you’re an intelligent woman.
  11.
  12. “Troops are composed of humans. The military need humans to form troops to fight the war, and humans are... Never mind, I’m talking in circles here. Adam? Could you talk to this one?"
  13. “Talk to Leanne? I’m sure I could talk some political sense into her,” He smiled as he got up from the floor, “You know I’m always up for a new challenge."
  14.
  15. Adam stood up and took the stage where Soldier Girl had been before. Finally recovering from his giggle fit, he had a straight face on. “You support the war, but you don’t support the troops... How does that work out? Unless, you support the cause, but don’t care about the outcome. Um, I’m gonna guess that your a Republican, right Leanne? Typical to support the war, but not give two shIts about the troops. Ugh, I can’t even think of anything to write, you’re dumb, read the news papers."
  16.
  17. Adam shook his head in confusion and took his seat, looking at Dr. Ahrms as he did so. “Sorry man, I couldn’t think of anything to say."
  18. “Thats alright, what matters is you tried your best. I’ll finish it from here.”
  19. Anony and Count von Verme were starting to see the effects of the Black Fog all around them, the size of the room increased dramatically. To them, the room became circular is shape. Rows upon rows chairs seemed to literally grow out of the wall as hundreds of thousands of shadows of creatures resembling squid filled the seats, their blank white eyes staring at the center of the room.
  20. “I don’t think this is part of the meeting agenda Count von Verme.” Count von Verme looked around, wide eyed as the creatures started chanting in some unknown language.
  21.
  22. “Devratu foret ghot vong forru ti lu, deveret for tonudes es duex for liet. GROMAFU! GROMOFU! GROMOFU!”
  23. Dr. Ahrms took no notice of this, or the fact that he was now speaking on a pillar of considerable height while wires and electrodes attached themselves to the base of his head, or to the fact that before his eyes, a gaint robot was materializing infront of him.
  24. “Very... Good? I guess? Are republican's this confusing all the time? Or just in matters of war? Anyways, I must apologize for my rudeness, Leanne and for that of my friend, vulgar. But you- are really fucking confusing to say the least."
  25.
  26. The robots gears squealed and sparked to life while its joints rumbled into motion. Servos grew like fresh organs, vien like circuit boards spread, and electricity flowed and pounded throughout its entire being like life giving blood. Slowly, it stood up to its full height of three hundred feet, the room the Debate Society was in seemed like the inside of a small moon with the inside of the theater beign the only thing lit. the stage had become a literal battle ground, the arguments from each speaker commands to the giant mechanical beats. Which ever speaker made the most sense, was the one whose giant robot was still standing or the very least, that’s how the mysterious shadows might’ve seen it. Dr. Ahrms and Leanne were oblivious to the hulking creatures about to duke it out between them, in their sight, they were still only a few feet apart.
  27.
  28. “I know that you’re probably a very intelligent person, that you have your views on whats right and what’s wrong. Same here and I’m sure we can both agree to some extent that what you’re saying doesn’t really make sense. So, I’ll try to put it in perspective for you with a little story in first person perspective. Just to give you a hint of why they want to get their butts home."
  29.
  30. Leanne took no notice either of the pillar she was on either, as her creature materialized before her and wires connected to the base of her head as the creatures movements in synch with her thoughts. Leanne’s, seemed to be more organic in nature, light blue streaks flowed down its sides while
  31.
  32. “Every night you have the same dream:
  33. Bullets are flying everywhere as your troop leader gives the orders to move out. You peek over the car remains to check for signs of insurgents and then you hear it. The sound of an incoming missle getting closer and closer, and just as It’s about to hit you, you wake up. It’s been four horrible months since you were shipped to iraq, the hundred plus weather beats down on you in your heavy inform as your thoughts return to your family and friends. Though you’ve made great friends here in your troop, you hear bIts and pieces of the politics going on in the states of President Bush pushing to keep you Iraq. Another five weeks pass, you and the rest of the contingent, suffering from sudden flash backs and pre-PTSD and shellshock, all you want to do is to go home in one piece, or at least, just the one piece that matters the most."
  34.
  35. The shadows chant their eerie words over and over again. Their eyes never leaving the two speakers as their creatures did battle while the two debated the current issue.
  36. Adam was stunned to say the least as he leaned over to Soldier Girl who was astonished, amazed and slightly paralyzed with fear at the sight of two monsters battling it out five hundred feet in front of her, “Hey... This is better then any Godzilla movie. No rubber suits."
