- Flicking the last of the clinging tangles from his gloved hand, Aramaeus steps into
- the waters of the Fulcrux and pauses, the deep magenta of his gaze sweeping across the lagoon with
- undisguised curiosity. With the faint, ever-present hint of a smile playing about his lips, he
- places his hands together at the small of his back, glancing about as he makes his way to the
- shrine. Once upon the modest portion of solid ground, he cocks his head at a slight angle, studying
- the edifice intently.
- Kneeling humbly, you press your palms together before you and close your eyes momentarily as you
- pray devoutly to Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons, "A cool, quiet presence, dark and liquid as a
- quiescent sea of dense, smooth ink. "Greetings, Lady! I am quite sure that You are wading through a
- deluge of mortal pleas, gifts, and so on, but, well. I just paid a visit to Your nereids upon the
- Rhizoda, and I must say, I am quite thoroughly fascinated - What splendid creatures You have
- Awakened! I would dearly enjoy the opportunity to express my appreciation in person, should You be
- so magnanimous as to grant me the gift of a portion of Your time." A thoughtful pause, the black
- depths illuminated faintly by a distant, flickering light that winks out as swiftly as it appears.
- "Ah! That reminds me. I don't suppose anyone has thought to invite You to the Masquerade? Rather
- boorish of them, if so. From what I understand, You have much reason to dislike Magnagora, if only
- via association, but I think You could have a wonderful time if You cared to grace the event with
- Your presence. With, or without a written invitation." A glimmering, silvery arc, reminiscent of a
- broad smile. "If nothing else, there will certainly be quite a variety of fancifully wrapped morsels
- for You to sample - A little blood on the dancefloor always livens things up, in my experience. I do
- hope You are finding ways to enjoy Yourself. I greatly look forward to hearing more of You in the
- times to come."".
- Nodding in satisfaction, Aramaeus dusts his hands off - Though there is nothing
- marring the glove's surface - and makes his way unhurriedly back towards the exit, humming a
- pleasant tune all the while.
