Ryuko the Werewolf

Matoi Ryuo and Mako were doing what they had been for the past few weeks since they'd been able to live a normal life; lounging around the bedroom talking the night away.

Ryuko had entered Via the window, as she always did as force of habit, even though tonight of all nights no one but Mako and herself were in the house.

Mako exclaimed with concern.

Ryuko shouted as she held herself tightly now; the heat was nearly burning all around her, she could hardly focus on anything else.

"Ryuko! Your hands!"

Mako pointed out in fascination.

Releasing her grip of herself Ryuko pulled her shaky arms up to her face. Her nails were lengthening in full view of her eyes, so were her fingers with light "pops", her palms were widening to accommodate them.

Ryuko could only stare in disbelief before something else grabbed her attention.
The worst stomach cramp she had ever experienced in her life hit her like a bullet train.

"UGGHH!"

Ryuko groaned out loudly through tightly clenched teeth as she wrapped her arms around her gut and bent over herself. Seconds later her arms too were wracked with devastating cramps.

It was agony, like she had been hit with a cannonball. But then, spikes of intense pleasure through the pain. And a sensation the couldn't possibly be real.

Loud popping and snapping were heard as the bones in Ryuko's feet began to rearrange.

Toenails lengthened, her toes thickened, her pinky toe on each foot stiffened and then slowly traveled down the side of Ryuko's elongated foot.

When they were done, the feet had an animalistic quality of being able to stand partially upright on their own.

"Ryuko! Is that...hair?"

Mako suddenly interjected.

Taking a look at her arms, Ryuko could see that Mako was right. Black hair was sprouting and growing fast...no it wasn't just hair, it was fur.

In an instant Ryuko finally understood what was happening to her.

She was turning into a werewolf.

But the moon wouldn't give her time to think.

Ryuko's whole body froze and began to shake under immense strain.

"UUGGHH!"

Ryuko grunted out as the fabric along her back suddenly tore open. One by one, the ridges of her spine were rising with a "pop". As it traveled down her back it tore the fabric as it went. And though she could not see, fur was beginning to cover her back, soon no skin would be visible.

"Ugh!...ugh!...ugh! AAH!"
