Map Prompt

Rosa carefully opened the rusted door of the abandoned Brookwood Mall.  The mall had been sitting upon a large hill collecting dust for over 20 years since its closing.  On this humid summer evening, Rosa was dared by her friends to go into the mall and retrieve something there that would prove she was inside.  She had completely mixed feelings about the dare.  For one, the mall looked absolutely ghastly with many of its 80s era design decayed and vandalized, leaving a twisted depiction of its one marvelous architecture.  On the other hand, her friend David would buy her and the rest of her friends some tickets to that new slasher flick coming next week.  This was Rosa’s time to shine.
	Upon entering a side entrance to the mall, Rosa was hit with a stuffy smell of the mall’s interior.  The unpleasant odor was almost unbearable, but she kept going forward.  Using her shirt to mask her face, Rosa made it into a hallway.  Her flashlight was brand new and the batteries were advertised to long last so hopefully this trip would be uneventful.  Hopefully.   The floors were caked in dust and dirt, every step on the ground would echo throughout the hall.
	BANG.
	Rosa almost jumped but quickly adjusted her light to the source of the noise.  A door laid flat on the ground giving way to the main floor of the mall.  She gulped, investigating the door closely; the hinges were completely rusted out.  I guess there was a strong wind that finally put the door down for good she thought.  But there was no time to ponder, she kept going.  The tickets she thought, those tickets would make this all worth it.  After all, a scare from this place would probably make her immune to whatever the slasher flick would throw at her.  Everyone would be shitting themselves while she would sit there on her comfy chair with a smug look on her face.  But it was not time to daydream, Rosa would press on deeper into the mall.
