2. It is unfortunate that a person of a stature of a Chief Minister has to resort to lies and shallow boasting to market himself. But then that is what Narendra Modi is known for. He thinks by repeating lies, it becomes truth. That is why even while addressing SRCC students he said, “why should I lie in front of you.Exact words were “mein aapke saamen kyo jooth bolu”. No person thinks of lies while speaking truth but because Modi just lies, he has to clarify every now and then that I am speaking the truth and I don’t need to lie in front of you|

3. Our apologies to students of SRCC who had to silently take in the lies of a Chief Minister. Our sincere apologies that the students had to applaud and give an ovation to a liar who twists facts, who misrepresents statistics and who simply lies.

Modi should feed the milk, the bhindi, the tamatar to the malnourished in gujarat first before sending it abroad.
6. Modi said the forensic Science University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat is the first such University in the world. He said thrice that Gujarat’s forensic science University is the first in the world. This is a lie. There are 102 forensic Science Universities in US alone. In India, Sagar, University set up in 1964 in Madhya Pradesh offers courses in Forensic Science and criminology. Punjab University set up in 1962 has a full fledged Forensic Science Department. In Delhi, a special Institute of criminology and Forensic Science has been set up since 1972. Gujarat Forensic University which Modi tried to brand as very special and outstanding does not even rank among top 100 forensic education courses in the world. 7. Modi said Gujarat is the only state where water table is going high. This is a lie.
In fact, in 2011 itself Columbia University has done a research on how water table in Gujarat is severely depleting

The Earth Policy Institute, a world famous organization has certified that in North Gujarat alone, water table is depleting by over six percent, Gujarat is not a water surplus state and at present 5000 villages in the state face acute drinking water shortages in Saurashtra and north Gujarat. Source: Residents of several villages observed a band recently because they did not get water for 2 days at a stretch. In Virpur in Rajkot district of Saurashtra, in Jamnagar, though it is winter there is severe water crisis. Just in a few pockets, water table increased because of check dams that too not built by the Modi regime.

8. Narendra Modi bragged about that production of cotton in Gujarat has gone up significantly in his reign after he took over in 2001. Bhai Shri Lair, Gujarat has always been at the forefront of cotton production of cotton production. It has always been on top. Gujarat was the Manchester of India and known as this all over the world. Modi was not born then. It is shameful that he takes fake credit. There is historic evidence of trade and commerce ties with Sumer in the Persian Gulf during the period of 1000 to 750 BC.

9. He talked about his pro people good governance model but conveniently forgotten that under his watch 1200 innocent people were butchered in broad-day-light, women were raped and children were orphaned. Where was his so called pro people approach when Gujarat was burning? What his so called pro people approach when Gujarat happens to have the highest number of women who are malnourished in the country. What about his pro people approach when he does not disburse grants sent by the centre to minorities. What about his approach when he does not appoint Lokayukta where people fearlessly complain about his government or his ministers?

10. Yes Gujarat has surged ahead in agriculture but this is just because of Narmada Dam. And can Modi take credit for the dam which was announced in 1961 because he visualized that water would become an issue. Almost entire Narmada work of which farmers are benefiting today is because of work done till 2000. Modi infact has ensured that even Narmada waters go to rich industrialists instead of farmers. That is the reason why 52 farmers of Gujarat have committed suicide in last four months. So Modi’s lies that he has a model which is pro farmer is a big lie. Modi should remember that under his government in the last 10 years, not even 10,000 kms Narmada canals have been built in the state. It is not a disastrous failure on part of his administration that failed to build canals which would take Narmada water to fields in Saurashtra and Kutch and north Gujarat.

11. He talked about Gujarat milk being consumed in Delhi but forgot that it was Dr Kurien who set up Amul in Gujarat in the early 1960s. AMUL is the biggest milk co operative of the world in Gujarat but Modi has no role in it. He is using it for his own marketing. Infact, because late Dr Kurien did not allow his to politicize Amul or use Amul for his dirty politics, Modi ensured that Kurien, known all over the world as the Milk Man of India or Hero of the White Revolution, he was not given a State funeral in Gujartat. Modi did not even go to condole his death but ensured that he expressed grief on his twitter handle. He was so vindictive that he had even withdrawn even Dr Kurien’s car, cook and security and served notices to Amul.

12. Modi said whenever you eat Bhindi(okra, ladies finger) in Europe remember it has come from Gujarat. This is a big lie. The truth is that India accounts for the highest production of okra in the world. 73.25% per cent of the entire world’s bhindi comes from India. So you may think Gujarat is the biggest Bhindi producer but sorry. Gujarat is not even among the top three states of India who produces Bhindi. According to world figures and agri exchange reports, Andhra Pradesh tops India and produces 20.8% of India’s Bhindi, West Bengal produces 14.9 percent. Orissa produces 11.3 percent and Gujarat, hold on, does not produce even 11 per cent of total Bhindi production! This is how Modi lied on Bhindi

13. Modi bragged and lied about Raksha University. His exact words were “only university in India for training police.” Another white lie. The Sardar Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad, is the first police training institute of India to be set-up in Hyderabad in 1948. Modi may argue that Hyderabad trains only senior officers already selected in police but then the North Eastern Police Academy (earlier known as the Regional Police Training College) has been in action since 1978, training everyone from constable to police inspectors. Interestingly while newly recruited constables who graduate from this college is paid only Rs 2500 to Rs 4500
Per month (highest salary) compared to other States and hold on, out of 320 Raksha University Pass outs of a particular course less than 65 have so far got jobs and out of these 40 have been absorbed in Traffic brigade and paid a paltry Rs 2500 a month. This is less than the government prescribed minimum wage. The Gujarat Government has signed a MoU with its own Gujarat Industrial Safety Force (GISF) which employs 50% of a course pass out. This is the reality. In three years time, not even three Raksha University Pass outs have been able to get a job in Army, Navy or Airfoce. This is because there is no trained faculty and officers who toe Modi line (and who have not yet landed up in jails) get a posting there.

14. He said how teachers  also ought to be exported and how he has set up the IITE  in Gandhinagar for Teachers Education. First of all, there is at least 56% vacancy of faculty itself, of teachers itself in this Institute. Atleast 15 teachers have left in protest against “inequality”. There also seems an orchestrated effort to inject religious feelings through series of guest lectures by essentially Hindu spiritualists. The Institute does not believe in giving holidays on festivals other than Hindu festivals. For example there was no Eid leave here.

15.Gujarat has always been a highly industrialized state with high concentration of chemical, petrolchemical pharmaceutical and engineering units. The state is endowed with natural resources like coastline which has helped in the state becoming a global trade hub even before independence.Centuries ago when Britishes came, the East India Company’s first port of anchor in India was Surat in Gujarat and this is because Gujarat was known for its trade and industry. Similarly Parsis also first came to Gujarat. Yes , MNodi’s only role in creating crony capitalists in Gujarat. At SRCC Modi recounted his Nano came to Gujarat story but ofcourse he did not mention that his government doled out interest free loans of billions of Rs whose instalment would state after 25 years and scores of other incentives at public cost to invite industrialists. All together Modi government has admitted giving incentives worth Rs 33000 crore to Tata for Nano project. Which Industrialist will not come with so much incentives offered ? On one hand while Modi invites industrialists to Gujarat on other hand he does nothing for small and medium enterprises in Gujarat who had even boycotted his vibrant Gujarat summit. He said At SRCC that he organized Vibrant Gujarat only in 10 days and representatives from 121 countries came. This is a lie Over 30 IAS officers were sent abroad on public money and they spent over Rs 30 crore organizing Road Shows and B2B meetings and to invite people for vibrant Gujarat Summit. Modi also went to China and Japan to lure investors. This exercise was done six months before Vibrant Gujarat so Modi did not just organize the show in 10 days as he claimed at SRCC.

16. Modi said Gujarat’s Tourism figures are double that of India’s tourism figure and growth also. It is good that people are visiting Gujarat and as Modi said Amitabh is going home to home asking people to “spend few nights in Gujarat” Modi has lied about figures. (please get it from Ministry of Tourism) Gujarat does not figure in even top 6 States of tourism. NRIs coming home regularly to Gujarat, Modi converts them as tourists! Also, before Modi or Amitabh Bachchan was born, Gujarat was in lime light and travelers across the world wanted to come and spend their time here and Gujarat was even very safe during the nights. Conclusion:
Modi has tried to appropriate everything that is good in Gujarat but he forgets that the Supreme Court had described him as a modern day Nero and he is a persona non grata in half of the world.
Modi began his speech by invoking the name of Mahatma Gandhi but lets not forget that Modi is the product of the same ideology which led to the killing of Mahatma Gandhi. Modi is the product of the same lineage. Nathuram Godse killed Gandhi in 1948 and Modi is killing Gandhi’s ideology since 2002. Gandhiji stood for Non Violence and Truth. Modi is a symbol of violence, fascism and Lies.
