- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- There is hardly a first world problem more depressing and emblematic of the feeling of helplessness on such a small scale than having multiple years of Internet troubles that your Internet service provider cannot address because your old-ass house is almost 100 years old (1922) & has an old-ass electrical system that cannot handle all of your modern convenience and you need to have your borderline-slumlord landlord get a certified electrician to do God-knows-what to that old-ass system (probably install grounding, for starters) to get it up to modern code because you can't afford one yourself due to having student & bank loans to pay off and you have a history of botched repairs by the landlord's people that makes you hesitant to turn to them to get it done right for an issue that's so minor in the grand scheme of things that it's not worth potentially being without electricity for an extended period of time, leaving you with either the most reasonable option to just sit there and take it or the slightly less reasonable option of power-cycling the modem—the third or fourth unique modem you have rented from said Internet service provider in the last three years, all having the exact same issue—multiple times a day, angering and annoying the other members of the household who aren't using the available bandwidth to anywhere near the extremes that you are and are not having half of the same problems that you are.
- Did that sentence just run a marathon? I mean, it's not in the running to compete with Ducks, Newburyport (and honestly, what is?), but that could very well be the first time I have intentionally tried to lengthen a sentence to such extremes. (After I mentioned the electrical and realized what else I wanted to touch on, I decided to challenge myself.) It really does exemplify my frustration with the state of my Internet and the reason why I have a PoopNet Twitch emote in the first place.
- That all said, I was able to push through it and put together some more Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL World Duel Carnival Story runs on Duel Champion this weekend. I should have five runs to release on YouTube this week. I even have a Nintendo Puzzle Collection highlight that needs to be seen to be believed. I should have more where that came from next weekend.
- By the way, as of this post, I have 864 YouTube subscribers. 136 more and I get to start making money on my videos. I consider it an important step to making this streaming thing full time and getting the opportunity to provide more of my brand of entertainment to you guys. Tell everyone you know who likes card games and puzzle games to subscribe!
- That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, thanks for reading!
