Background: Suigetsu was born in Kirigakure and was reputed alongside his brother, Mangetsu, to be the incarnation of the demon Zabuza Momochi. He and Mangetsu aspired to inherit the title of Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. This acted as their motivation to finish cruel missions day by day. While Mangetsu eventually became one of the seven, Suigetsu's motivation was shattered with the premature death of his brother, and he changed his ambition to "collecting all of the swords", in order to retrieve all seven original blades that have been passed down by the swordsmen, so that he could rebuild the group and become its leader.

He was later captured by Orochimaru and freed by Sasuke Uchiha in order to be one of his team members's to help him in the Uchiha's Revenge, this would take him across the Elemental Nations with each encounter, making the team Sasuke had formed more into Criminals rather then Vigilantes of any sort, after all, was said and done and for the minor yet important role he and Taka played in the Fourth Great Ninja War, they were pardoned for their crimes and Suigetsu decided to stick with Orochimaru and acting as his assistant.

Suigetsu is a well-trained Ninja with Kenjutsu that far exceed's most people, having trained to be a successor to Zabuza Momochi, The Demon of the Hidden Mist village and even heralded to be his reincarnation along with his Brother and understood when and who he was strong enough to fight against.

Description: Like the other weapons employed by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, the sword possesses a unique power, this being its ability to reform itself using the iron harvested from the blood of its victims. This regenerative process takes place almost instantaneously and is capable of bringing the weapon back to its original condition no matter how severe the damage is, from a simple chip or nick to a complete separation of over half the blade. The sword also possesses high durability and is quite strong, able to cut through almost anything. However, due to its considerable weight, only especially strong and resilient individuals can handle wielding it for long durations; otherwise, they will tire quickly, meaning special training is required to use it, especially the killing technique tied to it, The 'Executioner's Blade' is referred to it as is due to the hole within the blade itself a Killing Technique that is meant to entrap someone's head within said hole before removing it by pushing the blade forward and sending the rest of the body flying, a sure-fire killing technique if someone is caught in it, however, those skilled enough can escape it. Kubikiribōchō is a large broadsword, as tall as a full-grown man, shaped like a butcher knife. The blade itself has two cut outs, a circle close to the top and a semi-circular one nearer to the handle, the former of which is aptly fitting the sword's purpose of decapitation. The latter notch allows a strap to be wrapped around the weapon, making it easier for the user to carry. Its extremely long handle is also detachable to further aid transportation and then reattached when required for combat.

Description: This Jutsu, is a hallmark of the Hōzuki clan and allows the user to liquefy any part of their body at will, from the hair on their head to the muscles in their arms, with Suigetsu being the last of his clan he is the only one who possesses this unique ability. When struck by a physical attack, the impacted area becomes liquid, causing the attack to pass through him and leave him unharmed. He then solidifies back into his original form. In addition to defense, Suigetsu can convert his body into liquid for any number of purposes, such as infiltrating buildings or sneaking up on targets. He can pump water into his muscles to increase his strength, shoot water from his fingers as an attack that can penetrate through the human body, or use his bodies to douse targets. Despite the versatility of their liquid states, it renders Suigetsu very vulnerable to Lightning based attacks, in theory, the Noble Phantasm makes Suigetsu close to impossible to even kill normally.
