  37. /background - His mother was an actress in films and his father was a producer they married in secret and had him, he's father wanted to keep it a secret so they told everyone it was a set workers son. (but he knew who his real parents were.) When Chanyeol was 12 he's mum was pregnant again with a baby girl and also wanted to not keep their marriage a secret. Chanyeol's father went along with this but he eventually took her to the set he said 'they were going to be married.' but then he locks her in and sets the set on fire making her and her unborn baby burn alive and die. (he did this because he thought marriage and another child would ruin his career.) Chanyeol doesn't know any of that until recently when all evidence pointed towards his father. And now his father is on trial. He lived with his un biological parents (set workers family) throughout all of this and still now. (As his dad didn't want the media to find out that Chanyeol was his son.) But he trusted his dad this whole time thinking that some random had killed his mother and unborn baby sister or it was an accident but never thought it was his actual dad, who would choose money and pride over family.
