  1. The metal carriage rocks back and forth,
  2. DaVincian means of simply disobeying
  3. Gravity are turned aside, the child-like
  4. Wonder in his eyes is reflected on the
  5. Emerald shores. A literate pen jots and runs as
  6. Eardrums burst and near transparent newspapers
  7. Crinkle and expand. How trivial, it seems,
  8. Modern flight is to those who repel the ground so easily.
  9. Shooting stars and those with stars in their eyes
  10. Transmute desires untold to a notebook.
  11. An iPad is the eye for a generation to lobotomise
  12. And make still the entire world. Forgetful.
  13.
  14. I feel nought but apathy for those who
  15. Do not reflect azure sentiment when gazing
  16. Upon the tungsten skies. Tangerine glows beneath
  17. The moonlit clouds, the day burning into the
  18. Æther, a thousand voices silenced. Judgement
  19. Blares through the whistling skies, cerulean ink
  20. Distilling the colours of the world into eight lines
  21. By free verse. Worth of those who pen desires
  22. Unheard of prior to the arrival in Forks, yet
  23. A monochromatic tale of inadequate trust sells further
  24. Than any potent prose or poem put or placed by princely
  25. Or powerful lips. All at once, injustice reeks. All at once,
  26. The subtle snap of sauvignon blanc echoes through the
  27. Plane, the plain planar pilot sweeping to descend. Apathy.
  28.
  29. Entropy and avarice and envy, no, empathy, and
  30. Ampersands rock the steel eagle's wings into
  31. An absolutist world of terror. Storm drains
  32. Overflow with typography, discarded ink,
  33. Paper and letterheads filling broken libraries with definite
  34. Falsehoods and uncontrollable contempt. A free
  35. Mind sees the truth that rides on the
  36. Backs of the collective who work, a free mind
  37. Feels the snarl that rolls among the teeth of one
  38. Bourgeois with skin tighter than a cyan tarpaulin
  39. Blanketing the earth. Smothering the grass, yet natural.
  40.
  41. Tungsten degrades into luminescent bulbs, the clean
  42. Light pushing cerulean into cobalt into murky
  43. Grunge. Nevermind the wind, ignore the hail
  44. And - most of all - reject and demonise the snow
  45. Lest it be purer than you.
  46. Letters strewn with venom intact, pagest turn and sighs
  47. Escape into the humming, strangling wall of noise.
  48. Linguistic atrophy is considered iconic or desirable by
  49. Authors, declining prose proposed, to penetrate and precisely
  50. Punctuate and pick the pepper, the pied piper
  51. Snatched up before he could blow his first note. Theft.
  52.
  53. To explore literature is to be made a fool of.
  54. To criticise the nature of distilling
  55. Romance and eroticism to fifty isolated shades of
  56. Snarling and vengeful drabble, spitting sporadic
  57. And slanting lines before they can rule a
  58. Page. Jet black fumes spew from factory
  59. Heads, lyricism purges and sleek jewelled
  60. Fingers turn the pages of fanfiction glorified.
  61.
  62. The rage of a writer scorned cannot main,
  63. Slice or even bruise. The rage of a writer
  64. Scorned burns images and phantasmal caveats into
  65. Idle brains. Ignorance betrays an idle mind
  66. As the skies lose colour, pure white bleeding through
  67. The spacious night sky. Pearlescant displays catch
  68. The richest crimson blood, one nerve betrayed,
  69. Draining the catalyst of its copper essence.
  70.
  71. Gold - while elusive - bends and breaks too
  72. Easily. One green back, however, shaping a score of minds.
  73. Tonight, sheep go without their wool, their pallid
  74. Skin pockmarking under the harsh winter winds.
  75. To circumvent a drunken haze is to deconstruct
  76. And demolish frankly fucking awful figments
  77. Of a fanatic's fuming magnum opus. The
  78. Ice dragon thaws, the rage living beneath the
  79. Glacial shell erupts. Indignance.
  80.
  81. The purest purple velvet - once a symbol of
  82. Riches untold - now translates clinging hope
  83. To statuses gone farther by than a rooftop
  84. Blaring sound at the Apple Corp.
  85.
  86. Charcoal skies flick fickle fingers through
  87. Galilean eyes. A cyclist's career burns, a
  88. Tepid page turns, the metal carriage descends
  89. And he - that who was overcome with the simplest
  90. Childlike wonder - silently weeps for the future
  91. Of words to come. Morning breaks. Mourning.
