13[21:09] * Viktor makes his way in with a book tucked under his arm, twirling a butter knife between his fingers.
13[21:10] * Katherine waddles her way into the mess hall
[21:11] <@Malachi> The Captain's Mess is a relativily large room with a table, surrounded by chairs.  There are places around that would have been storage for china and a wetbar, as well as a steam table.  The Alpha makes his way across the room and sits at the head of the table.
13[21:12] * Kifel enters behind Viktor silently taking a seat.
13[21:12] * Rasha has a book tucked under her arm, as well, the Russian medal glinting off of the chest of her black jacket.  Her hair back in a tight ponytail, she took a seat at Malachi's table, setting the book down in front of her for now.
13[21:13] * Katherine sets a book down on the table before she lowers herself into a chair with a sigh, one hand resting on her belly
13[21:14] * Naze takes a seat as she thumbs thought the logbook looking up towards the ceiling occasionally and then back down to run a finger up and down. Frowning at the pages then flipping to the the cover of the log. before she looks up to nod to Malachi respectfully.
[21:16] <@Malachi> So...Let me get the bad news out of the way.
[21:17] <@Malachi> Other than the spirits we brought with us, we are woefully berefit of Spirit allies out here.  I have started to call some to us, but it may take some time before they answer my call.
[21:18] <@Malachi> The Ship is currently being held together by Serpentine and Deathtrap, and until we can ease that burden we are at the mercy of the tides and time.
13[21:18] * Katherine nods as she listens
[21:19] <@Malachi> Lastly, this ship or ships have been underwater for 70 years.  Even if we could get to a drydock, I doubt they could be made to function with less than a year's time.
13[21:20] * JamesBeckett nodded at that
[21:20] <@Malachi> Does anyone else have any bad news that I might have over looked?
13[21:21] * Rasha quietly stroked her chin, looking thoughtful as Malachi explained.  She raised a single finger as he asked, her yellow eyes looking around to the others.  "One thing."
13[21:21] * JamesBeckett quietly shook his head scanning the rest of the room
13[21:21] * Kifel would brush his mohawk back with his palm, looking between his fellow alphas for the time being.
[21:21] <@Malachi> Please
[21:23] <Rasha> "From the Ashes has been taking inventory of the ammunition stored below decks, and so far has not found a single useable round.  All the gunpowder is too old, waterlogged, useless, and all the primers are completely corroded.  We've got a lot of artillery here with nothing to put through it so far.  I will report immediately if anything changes."
13[21:23] * @Malachi nods. "Thank you. Do any other packs have things to report while we're at it?"
13[21:25] * Naze nods <G> "As you all know know we're leaking, faith is keeping us up. Power is out on decks 2 and 3 and the main pumps are struggling. The rolling inner core of Serpentine is our main drive system as far as I can tell.."
13[21:27] * Viktor leans back in his seat.
[21:30] <Katherine> The systems we do have working right now are  because Deathtrap is keeping them that way
13[21:31] * JamesBeckett frowned a bit nodding.
13[21:31] * Kifel shakes his head slightly, not having anything of note to mention. "Ivory Mirrors has nothing to report that has been brought to my attention."
13[21:32] * @Malachi nods. "Good. I don't want to strain any of our spirits too much, so I have an idea. You know the gift Reshape Object?"
[21:32] <JamesBeckett> "Sounds like it could be useful.
13[21:33] * Viktor nods a little non committal
13[21:33] * Naze nods <G> "The ship is fascinating magically, Serpentine and Deathtrap are trying to commingle in the hull but its looking like its difficult to integrate. Its like there's limited arcane recources to finish both the physical and spiritual integration.." She nods to Malachi <G> "Doesn't it only work on once living material?"
13[21:36] * @Malachi nods. "That it does, but I can mimic a more powerful version of that...provided I have the right source. I can't risk Serpentine, or the ship might sink right out from under us, so I will need the garou, and the Kin with gnosis."
13[21:36] * Rasha looks to Naze curiously as she explains the relationship between the two totems and the ship.

15[21:39] <Viktor> I've seen that movie.
13[21:39] * Kifel nods simply to Malachi.
15[21:39] <Viktor> Something about a centipede
13[21:39] * @Malachi looks at Viktor, slightly cocking his head.
[21:40] <Naze> <G> "What about just boosting the amount of power to work with?" she asks <G> "Cant we do something with Serpentine like we did with the gorgons?"
13[21:40] * JamesBeckett motioned to Naze
[21:40] <JamesBeckett> I offered to help repair the pumps and engines manually.  But if the spiritual aspect won't allow this.
[21:41] <@Malachi> "I'm not sure we have the pieces James."  He looks at Naze.  "Sure we could...if there were any available."
13[21:42] * JamesBeckett nodded to Malachi. "Right. Parts..."
[21:42] <Kifel> "May I speak on that subject briefly before we move on Alpha?"
[21:42] <@Malachi> Please, Kifel.
[21:42] <Katherine> Valrun found the manual. Steel Deathtrap can see what we can do to help on the mundane side of things, even if it's just patching holes.
[21:43] <Rasha> "If it's raw materials we need, we've been breaking down the shells we find in case we need the metal for something else," she offers.

"My worry with that Naze, is drawing that sort of attention to ourselves with no working weapons and only minimal supplies and woefully poor spirit support, could land us in hot water. No pun intended. Even if we found a way to attract them here, we would have no means of slaying them. Garou are not very good at fighting in
13[21:44] * Kifel the water. We're quite heavy, and very slow. Against a water born gorgon we'd be at a serious disadvantage."

[21:45] <Naze> <G> "Can't we call up a spirit of the hunt in Arizona to lead us on a Gorgon hunt there before taking their bodies though the door?" she ask
13[21:46] * Kifel eyes Viktor. "I repeat my previous comment. Garou are piss poor warriors in the water."
13[21:47] * @Malachi shifts uncomfortably. "I dislike the idea of hunting Gorgons when they are not threatening our home, I will admit."
[21:48] <Katherine> if they're not threatening our home, why provoke them?
13[21:50] * Viktor shrugs, "Just need your sea legs"
13[21:51] * Naze hmms and nods begrudgingly to Malachi and his wisdom, Defering to the Elder, <G> "Right. So option of last resort then."
[21:51] <@Malachi> I have a place for another source of power to fuel getting us to a shape that the Deathtrap Pack can do worthwhile maintance.
[21:51] <Kifel> "I have my sea legs Viktor. However until we can move through the water as gracefully as a fish can, it's not possible for us to fight on someonething's home turf. But I agree with Katherine. We have no need to provoke anything to come after us." He went silent after as Malachi began speaking.
13[21:52] * JamesBeckett flicked a look to Malachi
[21:53] <@Malachi> We need the Shrine to Chimeria.
13[21:55] * Rasha leaned back in her seat as she listened to everyone.  She laced her fingers, looking thoughtful, to see if there was an angle she was missing.
13[21:56] * Naze looks thoughtful <G> "An interesting track. I did note that the shrines didn't show up on the map this time..
[21:57] <Katherine> all that showed up on the map was the general area of the Phillippines sea
13[21:58] * Kifel nods softly. Though flicked his eyes to Naze briefly, then back to Malachi
[21:58] <JamesBeckett> Chimera... that's...
13[21:58] * JamesBeckett frowned
[21:58] <JamesBeckett> We'd be looking for the stargazers then?
[21:59] <@Malachi> Just the shrine, James.
13[21:59] * JamesBeckett nodded
13[21:59] * Viktor shrugs and sits back
[21:59] <@Malachi> We have no Gazers in the sept currently.
[21:59] <Kifel> "I admit, a shrine with the potential for near limitless gnosis and energy would certainly give us a better chance."

13[22:01] * Naze gasps and looks up at Malachi she's just been stuck with a sudden thought.
13[22:03] * @Malachi cocks his head at Naze.
[22:04] <Naze> <G> "The ship.. the ship itself is a Chimera.." she runs her fingers though her hair <G>" What if.. what if the passages in the ship itself are the labyrinth maze!?"
13[22:05] * Kifel would blink, looking to Naze briefly. Then to Malachi. "...it would make some level of sense."
13[22:06] * Katherine nods
13[22:06] * @Malachi nods to himself, his features hidden by his mask. "A good idea. You'll test it, ys?"

[22:07] <Naze> <G> "Yes, of course. We figure out the circuit and run it.."
[22:07] <@Malachi> All right then.  Here are my orders.
13[22:08] * Rasha sits up a little straighter, her eyes looking to Malachi.
[22:09] <@Malachi> Naze and her pack will test the truth of her idea.  If its not the truth, then all the packs will focus thier efforts to find it.
[22:10] <@Malachi> Those without a pack are to report to the Keeper of the Land to aid him in cleaning out our home.
[22:10] <@Malachi> I will be asking for volunteers from the Kinfolk to travel back to Arizona in an effort to give us all a little more room.
[22:13] <@Malachi> Dahlia will put together a small team of people ready to act as laisions and diplomat for any others we might encounter out here.
[22:14] <JamesBeckett> Sounds good.
13[22:14] * Viktor starts skimming his book.
[22:14] <@Malachi> Lastly, those who can should reach out to any potential allies.  Maybe we can get some ammo for our guns and what not."
[22:14] <@Malachi> Thoughts?  Questions?
[22:17] <Rasha> "I'll see if Eva can source some antique live ammunition for century-old naval warships.  Seems like a longshot, but it's worth asking.  Naze, if From the Ashes can assist with the exploration in any way, let us know.  Until then we'll continue salvaging materials from the ammo stores."
[22:18] <Katherine> I'll get my pack working on what we can to mundanely fix things. Rasha, I'll have Argent and Honey see what they can do with salvaged materials. And if anyone sees our tools that we had in Deathtrap.... please let me know.
[22:18] <Kifel> "I will see if I can get in touch with a few contacts over the GW.net as well. Possibly SteelFang if he's in the mood to lend a partial hand." He nodded simply enough.
13[22:19] * Rasha nods to Katherine, "Sounds good."
[22:20] <@Malachi> I would check the Machine Shop, Katherine.
13[22:21] * Katherine nods
[22:21] <Katherine> I'll do that
[22:23] <JamesBeckett> For the time being I'll have those of my pack capable assist as needed in repairs.
13[22:24] * Naze nods to Rasha and then all the others <G> "I'll let you all know what I find."
13[22:24] * @Malachi nods. "Excellent. Then you have your orders. As soon a Naze reports back I can work on the next step."
13[22:29] * Rasha nods to Naze and Malachi in turn, and gets to her feet, tucking that book back under her arm.  "We're on it," she says simply.
13[22:29] * Kifel nods simply enough, rubbing his temples between his fingers
13[22:30] * Viktor closes the book and moves to stand.
[22:33] <JamesBeckett> Aye.
[22:34] <@Malachi> Thank you all for your hard work.
