  1. The native species:
  2. The Attans are the native species to Dantooine, with their existing records dating back to around 26,500 BPD, though there has been limited discovery of evidence and records dating further back. They are a bipedal humanoid species, typically between seven to nine feet in length, though never going under 6 feet and surviving into full maturity. They are even toed ungulates, and typically have naked skin, with the only natural hair growth occurring on their facial area or skull, typically groomed to begin growing underneath the horns that the individuals of the species grow. Horns typically develop out of the top of the cranium, and form in either pairs of two or four, though varying wildly depending on the member, the horns are "true horns" and central to the Attans remarkably body temperature cooling ability. Their heart also differs from traditional humanoids in that is six chambers, instead of four, as well as possessing internal organs that are different from humans; notably, their digestion systems are completely different and more complex, with the addition of an organ that helps digest plant matter and fauna, though through evolution their body's reliance on this has changed. In terms of skin appearance, they vary in color in hues of deep violet to sky blue, though a majority of the population usually falls in the middle of the range.

  6. History Stuff:

  8. The Attans call Dantooine in their native language "ṣòkukɨ sōsò" in their native tongue, however they guard their native language as a cultural secret, but have let it known it means "Golden Throne" when the meaning of the word is translated to Galactic Common. While their records go back to around 26,500 BPD, mostly mentioning the slave camps that the Infinite Empire maintained on the planet, they pick up in earnest around 25,000 when several slaves ignite what turns into a large slave uprising, one the Rakatans are unable to control and eventually the Attans win, unknown to them mostly because of the plague affecting only Rakatans.

  10. Their society would go on to flourish and evolve, with most of their civilization structured in a highly feudal fashion, though this lessened in more recent times. The culture of the Attans, what little is known, is based heavily around diyò, or what the rest of the Galaxy calls The Force. There is evidence of a significant emphasis of connection with, understanding of and usage of the living force and Force itself, often manifested most evidently in the Attan's native religion, specifically with their god Hayun, which from limited knowledge on the Holonet, is the manifestation of the two sides of the Force, the duality or the balance there in. They strive to balance the Force and not fall to either side, emphasizing the balance must be ensured, not too dissimilar to more ancient beliefs of the Jed'aii. A large number of Attans are known to be force sensitive, but recruitment to either the Sith or Jedi is often rare due to the cultural and religious stigma with "breaking the balance" and going against the dogma of Hayun's teachings. Most join the Oratory, where they are trained upon the use of the Force, how it connects every living thing in the universe, and other related matters. Historically, the Oratory also has a record of being used as an often unofficial and official peacekeeping or even military force, and though such associations have long been separated and they are not officially apart of the Domain's government, they often partner with it frequently, specifically with the Dominion's armed forces.

  12. By 5,000 BPD, the Dominion under Emperor Anselmo Scarpa launched a series of aggressive expansions to expand the Dominion into an intergalatic state, using the Dominion Navy and Army to attack and seize Dubrillion, and eventually Ord Trasi. The latter was the most significant as it's nascent shipbuilding facilities and local resources would allow the Dominion to slowly build it up into a major shipbuilding site, eventually becoming to home to the famous Dassare Arsenal, a large orbital facility connected to the surface by an orbital elevator.
