  2. [2014-04-19 20:33:40] <CrystalDM> 03Who knows what lies in the darkness, waiting. What cries in the darkness... hoping to be saved. Or is it a lie, sung to lure adventurers to their death like the Sea Ponies of Old lured ships to break upon the rocks? Who knows....
  3. [2014-04-19 20:34:34] <CrystalDM> 03The dark Whisper Geckos lay dead, slashed and burned by the party. But, down from the darkness they can all hear her... a foal is crying.
  4. [2014-04-19 20:35:58] * Emerald_Blitz leans down next to one of the dead geckos and quickly takes a blood sample to compare to others later. "Is everyone ready to soldier on?" the alicorn asks. "And does everyone hear a foal, or am I just hallucinating again...?"
  5. [2014-04-19 20:36:09] * Tallie looks at Emerald_Blitz. "You better get your money back on those guns."
  6. [2014-04-19 20:36:22] * Militus looks into the darkness, then back at the assembled group. "So, who wants to bet we're talking into a trap?"
  7. [2014-04-19 20:36:28] * Clue stares down the stairwell. She shifts her head from side to side.
  8. [2014-04-19 20:37:00] * Emerald_Blitz looks at Tallie with a deadpan expression. "Well, given that we found them for free... but you do make a point, Tallie. She does need a skilled mechanic to unjam them for her." She points at the lack of a lever on the saddle. "No jambuster."
  9. [2014-04-19 20:37:26] * Emerald_Blitz shifts her attention to Militus. "Oh, it is most definitely a trap," she says. "The question is in how we handle it."
  10. [2014-04-19 20:38:03] <Asami> no I can hear a foal too
  11. [2014-04-19 20:38:18] * Tallie moves over to Clue and goes about unjamming the saddle. "I told you, its probably a spell."
  12. [2014-04-19 20:38:54] <Emerald_Blitz> "Most likely something set up to lure would-be heroes into danger," Emerald says. "But the joke's on them; we were already coming into danger beforehand, well armed and armored."
  13. [2014-04-19 20:39:19] * Militus smirks. "Well, I move that we try and ambush our ambushers. The look on a foes face when that happens to them is priceless."
  14. [2014-04-19 20:40:25] * Emerald_Blitz frowns lightly. "I never found it to be amusing. Just satisfying that the ambushed wouldn't be hurting anyone again," she says grimly. "Now, who's taking point once the saddle's repaired? I have an active shield, Militus is best-armored."
  15. [2014-04-19 20:40:58] * Militus raises his hoof.
  16. [2014-04-19 20:41:03] * Clue blinks. "Maybe it's an actual foal?..."
  17. [2014-04-19 20:41:47] * Emerald_Blitz nods to Militus. "As you wish. And if it is a foal," she says to Clue. "Then we'd better hurry. If there are more of those geckos..." She lets the thought hang in midair.
  18. [2014-04-19 20:42:50] * Militus keeps his spear ready and starts off into the darkness at the head of the procession.
  19. [2014-04-19 20:42:52] <Tallie> "Then it'll get eaten, right."
  20. [2014-04-19 20:43:29] <CrystalDM> 03The crying is indistinct, but definitely a foal. A filly, if you had to guess.
  21. [2014-04-19 20:43:44] * Clue snaps back. "Yeah. Lets hurry." She follows Militus.
  22. [2014-04-19 20:44:12] * Emerald_Blitz gestures for the others to follow. "I'll be the rearguard. In case of ambush." She takes the tail-end of the group.
  23. [2014-04-19 20:44:26] * Tallie "Dibs not point!" she says.
  24. [2014-04-19 20:51:17] <CrystalDM> 03The stairs lead down into a tunnel, covered in metal. The metal is... corroded. Rusted. Unclean... bits of mold and... goo? rest in the corners. After a couple hundred feet, a single red LED can be seen. It is on a speaker box... where the sounds of the filly's crying are coming from.

  26. [2014-04-19 20:52:20] * Emerald_Blitz turns to face the rear. "Is that a decoy or does it carry an active signal?" she asks Militus. "Unless it's a repeated loop, it could very well still be real." She looks closely at the... goop.
  27. [2014-04-19 20:52:53] <CrystalDM> 03The speaker box has a button that is glowing softly, and a destroyed keypad. Clawed to bits. A stable door, not more than fifty feet away can be seen. It is part-way open, enough so that two ponies could walk through at a time.
  28. [2014-04-19 20:53:08] * Militus stops and listens to the sounds, trying to discern any possible repitition.
  29. [2014-04-19 20:53:37] * Tallie looks at the keypad. "Hmmm... not sure I can fix that..."
  30. [2014-04-19 20:54:09] <CrystalDM> 03Its much easier to make out what the foal is crying for. Her mother. She keeps asking for her, and to make the monsters go away. There is no repetition.
  31. [2014-04-19 20:54:59] * Clue ear's perk. Her breathing begins to pick up in pace. "We have to do something Em!"
  32. [2014-04-19 20:55:03] * Militus looks back at Emerald_Blitz and shakes his head. "It sounds like it's an active broadcast."
  33. [2014-04-19 20:55:25] <Tallie> "Well that sucks..." she mutters.
  34. [2014-04-19 20:55:53] * Emerald_Blitz looks very focused. "Very well. We go as quickly as we can. Trap or not, if it's a real foal, she needs our help. Lead on, Militus."
  35. [2014-04-19 20:56:16] <CrystalDM> 03The softly glowing button has a bit of text above it. It reads 'Push to Talk'.
  36. [2014-04-19 20:56:34] * Asami hollers out "hey kiddo!, we're coming for ya so hang tight! give us an idea of where to find you okay?!
  37. [2014-04-19 20:56:38] * Militus looks at the button, then questioningly back at the others.
  38. [2014-04-19 20:56:51] <CrystalDM> 03The foal continues crying.
  39. [2014-04-19 20:57:00] * Emerald_Blitz nods to Militus. "One of you better at calming foals than Militus press the button," she says.
  40. [2014-04-19 20:57:23] <Tallie> "I hate kids..." Tallie grumbles.
  41. [2014-04-19 20:57:32] <Asami> I can do it then?
  42. [2014-04-19 20:57:58] * Militus stands back from the speaker, watching the open door instead.
  43. [2014-04-19 20:58:13] * Emerald_Blitz nods. "You're probably closer to her age in some ways," she says softly. "I can cut in if I must. I do have some rudimentary pediatric care tucked away in this scrambled brain of mine, after all."
  44. [2014-04-19 20:58:25] * Asami waddles up to the button "I can do this so no worries Emmy
  45. [2014-04-19 20:58:31] * Clue starts to trot on the spot. "Somebody talk to her please! She needs to know we are going to save her!"
  46. [2014-04-19 20:59:15] * Asami will PUSH THE BUTTON if no pony stops her =)
  47. [2014-04-19 20:59:36] * Emerald_Blitz puts a wing around Clue. "Don't worry," she says softly as she gives Asami a boostie up to reach the button. "We're not the group to abandon *anyone* we can help."
  48. [2014-04-19 21:00:21] <CrystalDM> 03The button clicks easily, the foals crying grows softer. There's a rather startled hiccup from the other end, and a soft "M-momma?"
  49. [2014-04-19 21:00:30] * Clue stops troting but her breathing is still fast.
  50. [2014-04-19 21:03:17] * Tallie hmmmms and rubs her chin, thinking.
  51. [2014-04-19 21:04:40] * Asami keeps talking as she holds it down "hey there kiddo, no I'm not momma but I am here to swoop in to the rescue..my name's Asami, whats yours?
  52. [2014-04-19 21:06:50] <CrystalDM> 03The filly sniffles before saying "I'm Quantum Bit... h-have you seen my momma?"
  53. [2014-04-19 21:08:02] <Asami> I might have Quantum? what's she look like and what's her name? and where are you in here by the by? there are some really meanie lizards in this place so I'd like to getcha out to someplace safer
  54. [2014-04-19 21:08:43] * Emerald_Blitz blinks, then blinks again. "I'm almost positive I've heard that name before," she says quietly. "In an... unfortunate context."
  55. [2014-04-19 21:09:21] * Militus raises an eyebrow.
  56. [2014-04-19 21:10:39] <CrystalDM> 03"Momma's purple with an orange mane... sh-she went out to fight the monsters and locked me in her office." The filly sniffles again.
  57. [2014-04-19 21:14:53] * Emerald_Blitz looks at Militus. "A pony by that name hacked the information about cloning from the Stable's computer," she whispers. "It could be a coincidence but I was trained not to believe in those..."
  58. [2014-04-19 21:15:26] * Militus nods and muses silently.
  59. [2014-04-19 21:16:30] * Asami looks at Emerald as she lets go of the button "howso?
  60. [2014-04-19 21:16:59] <Asami> so yer saying this kid is an old fuddy duddy?
  61. [2014-04-19 21:17:12] * Clue screams. "Don't stop talking to her!" She starts trotting on the spot again.
  62. [2014-04-19 21:17:54] * Tallie goes about trying to open the stable.
  63. [2014-04-19 21:18:33] * Emerald_Blitz jumps and looks at Clue. "Calm yourself," she says immediately. "The filly is obviously not in immediate danger and we're not abandoning her. Your panic may make hers worse." She turns to Asami. "Just the name, that's all. I asked the Overmare if the data had been accessed, and that was the pony who last did, I believe."
  64. [2014-04-19 21:18:55] <Asami> Clue? if I don't stop talking to her...how exactly can I rescue her if I'm stuck at this button? blargleflarg! " Asami presses the button again "okay Bit..I'm back again...could you tell me how to get to you? I'm with Princess Emerald and she's gonna come and get you while I stay on the comm here with you okay?
  65. [2014-04-19 21:20:16] * Emerald_Blitz shakes her head. "We have to stop talking to her. I don't approve of splitting our forces. What if there are more of those geckos down here?" She looks at Asami. "Tough as you are, I'm not leaving you by yourself, nor am I splitting us further to leave you a guard."
  66. [2014-04-19 21:20:36] * Clue starts breathing heavy. "You didn't at least tell her you were going to stop talking!" A few more heavy breaths. "She's all alone in a dark Stable FILLED with all sorts of things cabable of eating her alive!" Clue tries to calm herself down.
  67. [2014-04-19 21:21:00] * Emerald_Blitz hesitates. "Ask her how long her mother has been away," she says as she gently strokes Clue's mane to calm her down.
  68. [2014-04-19 21:25:35] <CrystalDM> 03"M-momma's the Overmare. Her o-office is-" The filly screams as a massive THUD can be heard, much like someone kicking a metal door. Clue and Asami make out a muffled guttural voice saying "Come out, come out, wherever you are..." Emerald can make out the sound of a stalllion, but the words are indistinct. The filly shrieks, crying out for her momma again.
  69. [2014-04-19 21:26:29] * Clue starts to panic. "Militus! Let's go! Get in there! FAST!" She screams with a concerned face.
  70. [2014-04-19 21:26:37] * Emerald_Blitz perks her ears in alarm. "More of those cloned miscreants!" she says to the others. "Come, no time to waste! Tell her we're coming!" Emerald nods immediately to Militus and charges forward.
  71. [2014-04-19 21:27:01] * Militus nods in return and plunges into the Stable door without hesitation.
  72. [2014-04-19 21:27:29] * Tallie pulls out her revolver. "YeeeeehaW!" she calls out, sprinting off after the others.
  73. [2014-04-19 21:27:32] * Asami hollers into the mic before letting go "we're comming to help out Quantum just hang in there okay!!!
  74. [2014-04-19 21:28:46] <CrystalDM> 03The wailing of the filly can be heard through the speaker, followed by more thudding and groaning of metal.
  75. [2014-04-19 21:29:46] * Clue shoves her way in behind Militus.
  76. [2014-04-19 21:31:59] <CrystalDM> 03The entrance to the Stable opens into more of that same rusted metal, with gooey mold in the corners. A splatter of blood can be seen, dried, just as you enter.
  77. [2014-04-19 21:32:22] <Emerald_Blitz> "Find the sound of steel!" Emerald shouts. "We may not have much time!
  78. [2014-04-19 21:33:06] * Militus mutters under his breath as he barrels ahead.
  79. [2014-04-19 21:34:31] * Emerald_Blitz continues to bring up the rear but shoos everyone in front of her into some manner of haste as they proceed.
  80. [2014-04-19 21:38:45] * Clue focuses hard and her horn flares us with her turquoise crystals as she casts some spells.
  81. [2014-04-19 21:39:06] <CrystalDM> 03There is an almost oppressive silence in this dark Stable. Not even emergency lighting. The only sounds, other than the heroes, are the sounds of the filly crying and the thud-thud-thudding on the speaker behind the group.
  82. [2014-04-19 21:40:07] <CrystalDM> 03Ahead is a set of stairs, leading up into the darkness. The blood is smeared and heads up the stairs.
  83. [2014-04-19 21:40:25] <Emerald_Blitz> "Her mother is the overmare. Find the overmare's office and we find her," Emerald says tersely. "If it's those cloned psychotics, I say we follow the blood." She gestures with a wing.
  84. [2014-04-19 21:40:29] * Militus continues striaght head, not even slowing at the bloodstain.
  85. [2014-04-19 21:41:25] * Clue shakes her head as one of the spells doesn't cooperate but she casts it again, successfully this time.
  86. [2014-04-19 21:45:02] * Clue 's ears flicker as she takes in new sounds. "She's way up ahead of us. Nowhere close by"
  87. [2014-04-19 21:45:28] * Emerald_Blitz nods. "Then keep moving!" She drags Asami along in a bright green bubble so no one is slowed down.
  88. [2014-04-19 21:47:23] * Tallie keeps her eyes peeled
  89. [2014-04-19 21:48:56] * Militus bursts through the door in front of him with a snarl and his weapon ready.
  90. [2014-04-19 21:50:45] <CrystalDM> 03As Militus bursts through the door, six more of the Whisper Geckos turn. With silent snarls, they attack.
  91. [2014-04-19 21:59:06] <CrystalDM> 03Two geckos charge the snarling zebra. Two geckos die at the tip of the zebra's spear.
  92. [2014-04-19 21:59:51] * Militus pulls his spear out of his second assailant with a satisfied grunt.
  93. [2014-04-19 22:04:39] * Tallie pulls out her revolver and fires at the geckos. She kills one on the second shot and fires again!
  94. [2014-04-19 22:09:36] * Clue jumps into the room to light up the enemies better and takes a shot at a uninjured gecko killing it dead! "Hurry everyone!"
  95. [2014-04-19 22:10:41] <CrystalDM> 03The gecko explodes into giblets.
  96. [2014-04-19 22:11:18] <CrystalDM> 03Asami floats in the telekinetic field, looking at the distance between her and the combat. "I..." She looks at Emerald, and then smiles. "Throw me."
  97. [2014-04-19 22:11:42] * Emerald_Blitz nods. "Three... two... one...!"
  98. [2014-04-19 22:13:42] <CrystalDM> 03The first gecko flies at Clue... and jumped too early, landing silently on its face. It stands and takes a swipe, hitting Clue and drawing blood.
  99. [2014-04-19 22:14:38] * Clue whinces but keeps on being herself.
  100. [2014-04-19 22:15:58] <CrystalDM> 03The second gecko slams itself into Clue... and does nothing. It keeps to its feet though, and slices into Clue, taking a nasty bite out of her.
  101. [2014-04-19 22:18:39] * Clue cries out this time but continues to stand tall.
  102. [2014-04-19 22:19:21] * Militus walks around Asami at a measured pace before effortlessly skewering one of Clue's attackers.
  103. [2014-04-19 22:20:47] * Emerald_Blitz dives through the door as well and slingshots a DRAGON over Clue's head to drop in front of the last gecko. "NOW!" she shouts as she deposits Asami.
  104. [2014-04-19 22:22:58] <CrystalDM> 03Asami fires off a ball of blue flame, setting the gecko alight and dropping it to the ground. The gecko is dead... and providing a bit of light for the next few minutes.
  105. [2014-04-19 22:24:55] * Militus wipes a bit of viscera off of his spear. "I don't see any fillies around, so we need to keep moving. Is everyone ready?"
  106. [2014-04-19 22:26:55] <CrystalDM> 03In the combined light of the fire and the light sources of the group, everyone can see what looks like a generator. Looks like... as all the protective paneling has been removed, as well as all the piping for the coolant systems. There is a large pool of dried blood under the generator, as well as in the trench beside it. The computer in the trench is covered in blood.
  107. [2014-04-19 22:26:42] * Tallie looks at the bloodied machine. "Wonder what happened here."
  108. [2014-04-19 22:27:45] * Clue jumps towards the computer and wipes the screen off. She attempts to turn it on.
  109. [2014-04-19 22:28:00] <CrystalDM> 03Without power, the computer refuses to turn on.
  110. [2014-04-19 22:28:55] <Clue> "Tallie? Can you get power to this terminal?" Clue asks.
  111. [2014-04-19 22:29:05] <Tallie> "I can sure try..." she says.
  112. [2014-04-19 22:29:40] * Emerald_Blitz sizes up her companions and realizes only Clue, yet again, has taken any hurt. She casts a warm green light on the unicorn mare and the tingles cover her wounds. "While you do that, Militus and I will keep looking," she says. "This is too technical for either of us and other demands on our attention are...."
  113. [2014-04-19 22:29:54] * Militus nods.
  114. [2014-04-19 22:30:36] * Clue starts to sniff the air. "Somepony is burning something..." She sniffs the air again. "...something made of wood... perhaps the furniture..."
  115. [2014-04-19 22:31:19] <CrystalDM> 03Indeed, now that its been pointed out, the smell of wood smoke hangs in the air... getting obscured by the smell of roasting gecko.
  116. [2014-04-19 22:33:38] * Militus wanders around behind the large computer, looking for any fillies or burning furniture.
  117. [2014-04-19 22:35:01] <CrystalDM> 03The sound of something falling to the floor... a cup, maybe? Comes from the south.
  118. [2014-04-19 22:35:36] * Tallie shakes her head. "Nah, I can't power this up without breaking it." she admits.
  119. [2014-04-19 22:36:01] * Militus makes for the mysterious sound with all due haste.
  120. [2014-04-19 22:36:46] * Clue looks around momentarily. "There are doors to the north and south, we should check those for power. The thudding is comming from the West." Clue pauses as her ears flicker again. "Gecko's. 6. South door. Tallie, some explosives would be more than welcome"
  121. [2014-04-19 22:37:50] * Clue squints. "200 yards about"
  122. [2014-04-19 22:39:07] <Tallie> "Aye-aye!" She readies bloomper
  123. [2014-04-19 22:40:16] <Clue> "Hold on Tallie, come back here. I have an idea."
  124. [2014-04-19 22:40:25] * Militus silently readies his weapon as he marches towards the south door.
  125. [2014-04-19 22:40:39] <Tallie> "What is it?"
  126. [2014-04-19 22:40:44] <Clue> "Militus hold... please..."
  127. [2014-04-19 22:41:01] * Emerald_Blitz screeches to a stop behind Militus. "Come again?" she says. "What idea?"
  128. [2014-04-19 22:41:16] * Militus stops, and glances warily at Clue.
  129. [2014-04-19 22:42:16] <Clue> "Emerald_Blitz, you can teleport right? There is probably a few geckos in the next room over. I need you to go in and lure them out, once outside the door TP closer to me. I'll throw down a sheild an corral them together and Tallie can blow them to chunks." She nods.
  130. [2014-04-19 22:42:29] <Clue> "Militus you can stand in front of me and spear any that get loose."
  131. [2014-04-19 22:43:02] * Emerald_Blitz gets a smile on her face. "Oh, clever girl," she says. "You'd have to throw down the grenade first and then the shield, but otherwise that's a sound plan. Let's do it and Militus can pick off survivors."
  132. [2014-04-19 22:43:33] * Militus thinks for a moment and then nods. "That...makes sense." He takes a position to intercept any oncoming geckoes.
  133. [2014-04-19 22:44:28] * Emerald_Blitz deposits Asami next to Militus and approaches the door, ready to teleport out after attracting gecko attention.
  134. [2014-04-19 22:44:41] * Clue nods. "I can shape my sheild in any way I want. Even a short wall."
  135. [2014-04-19 22:46:43] <CrystalDM> 03Another cup falls... and as Emerald enters the room, she can see more sets of yellow eyes watching her. Six more... What is it with these geckos and the number six?
  136. [2014-04-19 22:47:26] <Emerald_Blitz> "Excellent," Emerald says, then steps inside the door. "ATTEHN-SHUN!" she shouts into the dark as she steps in. "ALL YOU INBRED LIZARDS SALUTE LIKE YOU MEAN IT!"
  137. [2014-04-19 22:48:12] <CrystalDM> 03The lizards all give a silent hiss as they charge for the alicorn.
  138. [2014-04-19 22:53:45] * Clue casts her sheild wall by the south door and readies herself to shoot a gecko as it comes through the door.
  139. [2014-04-19 22:56:12] * Emerald_Blitz trots away as the geckos begin to close around her. "Ah ah ah! No you don't! Princess is far too rich for your pathetic diet!" she taunts, flapping her wings and getting right up against Clue's shield.
  140. [2014-04-19 22:57:03] <CrystalDM> 03There is... well, the floor reverberates with a small 'thud'. Then a dazed gecko comes out of the room after the Princess.
  141. [2014-04-19 23:02:25] <CrystalDM> 03Geckos RUSH out of the southern door. More at once than the group has seen yet... uh-oh...
  142. [2014-04-19 23:03:21] * Militus stares evenly at the scaly tide. "Clue, how many geckoes did you say there were?"
  143. [2014-04-19 23:08:04] * Clue squints. "I only heard 6..."
  144. [2014-04-19 23:09:24] <CrystalDM> 03One of the geckos flies... and misses Emerald_Blitz. It's skull splits open on Clue's shield.
  145. [2014-04-19 23:12:20] <Clue> The turquoise sheild cracks and splinters as things impact the other side of it.
  146. [2014-04-19 23:13:08] * Emerald_Blitz bounces around inside her glowing green sphere, battered up against the wall by the impact of the geckos. "TALLIE!" she shouts, bleeding from her muzzle, "GET READY!"
  147. [2014-04-19 23:13:32] <Militus> "I think your hearing has betrayed you."
  148. [2014-04-19 23:13:35] * Tallie gets her bloomper ready!
  149. [2014-04-19 23:14:30] <CrystalDM> 03Geckos be piling in, silently snarling in an attempt to get at Emerald_Blitz. They press against eachother and the shields, trying to get at the delicious Princess-Flesh...
  150. [2014-04-19 23:20:56] <CrystalDM> 03Another Whisper Gecko comes galloping down the hall, adding a bit more push to get the Princess-Flesh...
  151. [2014-04-19 23:27:35] <Emerald_Blitz> From beneath the scrabbling geckos, a shout of "ENOUGH!" resounds throughout the room and a bright green flash results in a collapsed pile of scaly monsters. Emerald, battered and bruised, reappears a few yards from Militus. "FIRE!" she shouts.
  152. [2014-04-19 23:30:04] * Tallie fires a grenade! Pew!
  153. [2014-04-19 23:31:38] <CrystalDM> 03With a massive explosion, Clue's shield and the rest of the Whisper Geckos... fall.
  154. [2014-04-19 23:32:00] <Tallie> "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH! DIE MOTHER FUCKERS!"
  155. [2014-04-19 23:33:16] * Militus sighs. "Well, that was disppointing. Next time I'm being bait."
  156. [2014-04-19 23:33:31] * Emerald_Blitz stands there, breathing heavily, and looks up as nothing but smoke remains. "Well, you're certainly welcome to it," she said. "Gunnery sergeant Napalm Strike would be quite proud of you, Clue and Tallie," she says amusedly, wiping blood from her nose. "Couldn't cast a single fire spell, but you should have seen his precision with ice magic. Just like that, only frostier." She chuckles....
  157. [2014-04-19 23:33:33] * Emerald_Blitz ..."Distraction done, now let's save that filly.
  158. [2014-04-19 23:34:14] * Militus nods. "So, through the corpses then?"
  159. [2014-04-19 23:34:23] * Clue nods with a scowl on her face. "Yes. Let's."
  160. [2014-04-19 23:34:51] <Emerald_Blitz> "No, Clue heard thumping from over here," Emerald calls as she heads west, scooping up Asami as she goes. "Strong chance of psychopaths, beware."

  162. [2014-04-19 23:36:40] <CrystalDM> 03As Clue turns her head, she can catch sight of six more of the Whisper Geckos swarming from the darkness and slamming against Emerald_Blitz's shield.
  163. [2014-04-19 23:40:57] * Militus looks around to see Emerald_Blitz getting mobbed by more geckoes. He smiles. "Well, perhaps I shall get to do my part after all!"
  164. [2014-04-19 23:47:27] <CrystalDM> 03The geckos slam Emerald_Blitz into the wall, pushing at her and preventing her from moving.
  165. [2014-04-19 23:48:09] * Emerald_Blitz looks at the geckos and her eyes flare white. "WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR INSOLENCE, SCALED WORMS," she bellows, leveling her shotgun at the one on top of the heap.
  166. [2014-04-19 23:49:01] <CrystalDM> 03There is a loud THUNK as the alicorn and her shield gets slammed against a wall, but the geckos make no sound as they slam against the shield.
  167. [2014-04-19 23:51:34] * Clue climbs out of her hole. "Goddess damnit Emerald! Hold on!" She follows up with a shot that goes wild and she grits her teeth.
  168. [2014-04-19 23:52:08] <CrystalDM> 03Asami, from her floating position in Emerald_Blitz's Telekinesis, unleashes a cone of blue flame at the clustered geckos.
  169. [2014-04-19 23:59:35] * Militus charges across the room before skewering another gecko.
  170. [2014-04-20 00:00:52] <CrystalDM> 03Two more of the geckos fall as blue fire consumes them...
  171. [2014-04-20 00:04:44] * Emerald_Blitz blasts a gecko to flaming smithereens with her shotguns. "THUS RETRIBUTION AGAINST THOSE WHO DARE HARM US" Emerald says as she flies away from the claws and fangs, still being rather loud despite her injuries. She alights between Clue and Militus.
  172. [2014-04-20 00:08:21] * Tallie runs over and readies her revolver. She fires once at one gecko, then once at the other. One goes down, but the other stays up.
  173. [2014-04-20 00:10:14] <CrystalDM> 03The last gecko charges at Emerald_Blitz... and slips on some black goo. It lands flat in front of her, before getting up and slashing twice at her. Its claws skid off the shield to no effect.
  174. [2014-04-20 00:10:37] * Emerald_Blitz glares down at the creature scratching at her shield. "AND THUS IT ENDS."
  175. [2014-04-20 00:11:25] * Militus facehoofs. "Really now? Would it be too much to ask for more horrors of the Wasteland to try to fight /me/?"
  176. [2014-04-20 00:12:41] * Clue takes aim with her new saddle and shoots the remaining gecko.
  177. [2014-04-20 00:13:04] <CrystalDM> 03The gecko explodes into little black giblets blood and gore.
  178. [2014-04-20 00:13:25] * Emerald_Blitz laughs as the gore-slick gecko tumbles away, then turns to face Clue, her eyes still glowing white.
  179. [2014-04-20 00:14:38] * Tallie spins the revolver's cylinder. "Another kill." she says, smuggly.
  180. [2014-04-20 00:15:33] * Militus looks at Emerald_Blitz, concerned. "Captain, are you quite sure your eyes are supposed to keep doing that?"
  181. [2014-04-20 00:15:39] * Clue gives a kick to her saddle and reloads it. "Alright, let's tread a little slower. Can't help the filly if we are dead." Clue says as she begins to trot briskly into the next area keeping a magical eye and ear open for enemies.
  182. [2014-04-20 00:17:13] * Emerald_Blitz turns to face Militus and blinks. Her eyes make a noise like a faulty fluorescent bulb as she blinks several more times, and the white sputters out, replaced by her usual kind eyes. "That was... intense," she says with a tired smirk. "I agree, Militus, next time you be the bait. But Clue's right, we have to move on, but... take care," she adds, limping a bit as she follows.
  183. [2014-04-20 00:17:38] * Militus nods slowly before setting off through the western door.
  184. [2014-04-20 00:17:44] * Tallie walks over to Emerald_Blitz and offers a fist-bump. "you rock."
  185. [2014-04-20 00:17:51] <CrystalDM> 03As the party rests momentarily from the Whisper Gecko onslaught, the continued thudding of on a door softly resounds. Tick tock, goes the clock, and all too soon all shall die. Tick tock, the party moves, but will they be in time?
  186. [2014-04-20 00:19:55] * Emerald_Blitz hoofbumps Tallie, albeit through a fractured shield. At the gentle impact, the green shimmer ripples, spikes, and crumbles. "Oh," Emerald says. "Either you don't know your own strength, or that was very close indeed..."
  187. [2014-04-20 00:20:51] <Tallie> "I'm supa stronk." she says, flexing and kissing a bicep.
