Play as Poet/AVA (Skyrim) / original post by: hiky

Sorry for my English\ For those who want actually play AS the Poet =)\
1) Install Skyrim and Creation Kit.
2) Download and install Poet.
3) Download and install Wrye Bash.
4) Run Wrye Bash select Poet.esp and click \ESMify self\.
5) Open Creation Kit\ load Skyrim.esm and Poet.esp. Do not set an active file.
6) Actors --> Actor. Find _Poet, and open it for editing.
7) Set "Is CharGen Face Preset" on, click OK.
6) Character --> Race --> _OkashiraNordRace, open this race for editing.
In the TextData change the name to Okashira. Click OK and reopen the race. Under the first tab, set the race to "playable".
9) Editing set "Female".
10) On the FaceData tab, change each headpart, using the drop-down menu, to the Okashira headpart (only one headpart should show up for each).
Click Ok to close the race window.
11) On the Preset NPCs tab, remove all except "NordFemalePreset01,02.03", and add (right click) New --> Poet.
Click Ok to close the race window.
12) Go to save now. Save as PoetRace01.esp (or whatever). Close the Creation Kit.
13) Open the Skyrim launcher but do not run Skyrim. Just make sure your Poet-mod is activated and loads after Poet.esp.
14) Go to your Skyrim/data/meshes/actors/character/FaceGenData/FaceGeom folder. There should be a Poet.esp folder there.
15) Create a Skyrim.esm folder next to the Poet.esp folder.
16) Copy the .nif file from the Poet.esp folder, and paste it into the new Skyrim.esm folder. Rename it to 00000007.nif.
17) Navigate to the Skyrim/data/textures/actors/character/FaceGenData/FaceTint folder.
1 Copy the .dds file from the Poet.esp folder, and paste it into the new Skyrim.esm folder. Rename it to 00000007.dds.
19) Run Skyrim and start a new game. =)))))))))))))))))

Just disable PoetRace01.esp (not Poet.esp). Select any race, go to the moment when Ralof cut the rope. Save game, and activated PoetRace01.esp.
Rune the game. In the console, type "showracemenu" and select Okashira race.
If it did not work simply switch to the Nord and back again to the Okashira. =)
