Even a barrier of truth around yourself likely would've been shattered. It seems that the only thing that is capable of breaking constructs formed of truth is something that can also control Truth... useful information to now have, even if what you ended up learning is something really annoying to deal with. You never expected to have your own strengths be turned against you.
