  1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons - What Exactly Does Wishing On Shooting Stars Do?
  2.
  3. The Animal Crossing series has been home to a number of neat features over the years. One of those happens to be a meteor shower. While everything may seem inconsequential at first glance, the occasional meteor showers that occur in your own island actually hold a purpose. You may wish on stars!

  5. This is much more than only a humour. Much like the rest of New Horizons, by wishing upon stars, you are given some materials you can use to earn a magic wand. This wand is more than just some fancy Harry Potter cosplay, also. With it, you are going to have the ability to designate some drapes and instantly without visiting a wardrobe change between them. It's really nifty for the ones that want their week to plan out.

  7. It is a little unclear what causes a meteor shower in New Horizons, but a indication of it happening is when you see Celeste on your city centre. Sister to Blathers, Celeste is known for staring into the nighttime skies and charting. She clues you and of course gives the DIY recipe to the wand to you.

  9. By leaning the joystick upwards, the camera will pan to look at the sky over. When you see a meteor just press A and your character will perform just a little animation, and of course the star will light up a little. You will have to be certain you aren't holding some tools in your hands, however you can stand in one place and wish on as many stars as you like.
