- Sherlock: Once per game, instead of defending, you may guess the printed value of your opponent's card. If you guess correctly, cancel all effects on your opponent's card and ignore its value. If you guess incorrectly, you do not defend.
- Jekyde: All your cards count as ANY cards.
- Ghost Rider: Once per game, move each of your fighters up to 4 spaces.
- Sattler: Once per game, when one of your opponents discards a card, choose one of your fighters to recover health equal to its BOOST value.

- Cloak & Dagger: Create a copy of your hero. They share the same health dial. (When an effect cares about "your hero", choose for it to affect either of them, or both of them.)

- Black Widow: Once per game, after playing a scheme card, shuffle it into your deck instead of discarding it.
- Winter Soldier: Before you attack, you may choose for your card effects to resolve twice. If you do, your opponent's card effects also resolve twice.

- Spike: At the start of your turn, if none of your fighters share a zone with an opposing fighter, gain 1 action.
- Willow: When you BOOST or BLIND BOOST a card, move your fighter a number of spaces up to the BOOST value.
- Wukong, Bloody Mary, Yennenga
- Bloody Mary: After attacking, you may place your fighter in a space adjacent to the opposing fighter.
- Wukong: Gain 3 multi-sidekicks. They can only play ANY and SIDEKICK cards, as normal.
- Yennenga: Once per game, on your turn, gain 1 action.
- Beowulf: On card reveal, you may have your fighters swap spaces. Your new fighter becomes the attacker. (Sidekick legend thing)
- Little Red: Once per game, if the top card of your discard pile is a scheme card, you may add its effects to your attack. They resolve AFTER COMBAT.
- Brains & Brawn
- Spider-Man: Once per game, opposing fighters cannot leave their spaces for the rest of the turn.
- She-Hulk: When one of your fighters attack, you may add +2 to your card's value for each remaining action you have (excluding this one). Then, after attacking, end the turn.

- Golden Bat, Jill Trent, Annie Christmas
- Annie Christmas: Once on each of your turns, before moving one of your fighters, you may choose an adjacent fighter. If you do, place that fighter adjacent to your fighter after the movement.
- Golden Bat: When you play a card, on reveal, you may cancel all effects on it. If you do, it gains the following card effect: DURING COMBAT: BOOST this card. Then, your opponent may BOOST their card.
- Jill Trent: When attacking, you win combat if you deal no damage, and lose combat if you deal damage.
- Hamlet: When you maneuver, draw 2 cards instead of 1.
- Shakespeare: Once per game, when you have 0 cards in your deck, choose 5 cards in your discard pile. Shuffle those cards into your deck.
- Sisters: All of your combat cards count as versatile cards.
- Titania: Once per game, when your opponent attacks and before their card is revealed, return their card to their hand. (Their action is still spent.)
- InGen: After attacking, if you won the combat, move the opposing fighter up to 2 spaces.
- Raptors: When you attack, if the opposing fighter is flanked, the values of your attack cards cannot be lower than 4.
